4428 ~*~BATH THREAT~*~
The temperature was high 76 & low was about 48 this morning, now it's 76 feels like 74 with humidity 35% & wind is 5 MPH. Monday's suppose to be Partly Cloudy & 81.
Well, dad never got home til almost 11:00 last night from their gold panning. He panned a several flakes of gold and even some silver in it.
Mom went out back and cleaned the litter box on the patio then she cleaned up the back yard and then cleaned out the BIG 6X6 litter box. Sausha 22506 layed on the ground watching mom then Kittzi 160203 came around mom to investigate.
We did get to go outside this morning but not til close to noon. Dad slept in some, mom doesn't get that chance as we don't let her. Tehehehe!!!! We all had an enjoyable day out.
Mom told dad that she really needs to give Pappoose 10366 a bath due to her constant itching then Frontline us a few days later. I don't care if Pappoose gets a bath, but come on.... FRONTLINE!!!! We don't need that stuff!!!! Anyways, mom set the shampoo out on the counter so she remembers.

Being the first all Black Cat to run for this esteemed position, I am going to devote this month to highlighting the black cat in literature, art, history, and trivia There are also certain breeds of cat who are all black and they will be highlighted.
Some of the books that provided information about black cats are: Cats Out of the Bag/Beck/Premium Press; The Great Cat-Poems/Fragos/Everyman- ’s Library Pocket Poets/Alfred A.Knopf; For the Love of Cats Purrfect Felines/Harris/Publicatio- ns International, Ltd; The Little Big Book of Cats/Wong/Welcome Books; Uncle John’s Bathroom Reader Cat Lover’s Companion, and CAT-the Complete Guide/Claire Bessant/Barnes & Noble.
Today, some trivia from “Cats Out of the Bag”. Pluto is The Black Cat in Edgar Allen Poe’s eerie short story about a cat’s vengeance upon an evil drunkard.
The superstition about having bad luck if a black cat crosses your path grew from the belief that the cat was on its way to visit the devil.
In olde England it was believed that a sty in the eye would be cured if rubbed with a black cat’s tail.

WHY, What???? I got Mom Margo to log on today to help me with more campaigning,and to send out a vote for my COTD campaign that I was hoping to win tomorrow. SOooooooo needless to say, I was very much amazed to see myself in the winners box a day early, I am shocked to say the least and, not quite sure how this could have happened. I will be rubbing it in my brother Zachary Pierre's face today, like he did to all us girls when he won. Thank you all my kat friends out there for this big surprise a day early. Hello, kittehs. Today I address you for the final time as your Queen of December. Your Queen thanks you for your support these past two months, during my catpaign and during my reign. Furrendships have been made along the way, and for these I am most grateful.
2009 has brought terrible sadness with illnesses and losses; yet, also it has brought joy, with new kittehs being adopted into furever homes, birthdays and adoptiversaries being celebrated, and bonding of the CC family as never before.
It has been a privilege and an honor to serve you. And while it was difficult at times to bring some news to all of you, I delighted in the notes I received of your day-to-day lives; from diets to redecorating the Christmas tree for your pawrents; from sudden escapes and equally sudden recaptures and withdrawal of treats as punishment; from illnesses to restored health; from daily activities to purr therapy for a sick pawrent.
My final hope is that now you will continue to delight me, from being loyal subjects to being life-long furrends.
Take care, my dear furrends. Luv one another, share one another’s burdens, take pleasure in one another’s victories.
