Armani would sit by the porch door & meow to the neighborhood kitties to come over & I always visited. She was a sweet little girl & it killed me she had no home, so we gave her one. Fell in love with her sweet little face

wow we had some more nasty storms at home last night and it got one of our outlets that has a breaker and all the outlets on one side of the kitchen dont work and momma had to pull the fridge out and run a heavy drop cord to it.
momma also said she saw on the news this morning that a lady in oklahoma foune her two precious kitties after searching the debris for hours. one has a broken leg and the other is just fine. sure did put a big smile on momma's face
momma ordered and inspiron 15.6" with touch screen from dell. sure hope she likes it and it gets here soon so we can get to our hockey games again before playoffs are over.

You are a smart kitty! Once you got inside you knew what a good thing you had and stayed inside! Good thinking! Got very hot out today! 90*! Mom hasn't opened the windows yet as the building is holding the coolness in. She didn't want to let in the heat. But she will need to bring the fans in from the garage soon. Greetings, Miss Chloe!
Mol! Ain't that the truth! When you find good friends, ya gotta keep 'em! Mom has known Kris for over 40 yrs. They were in each others' weddings, and Mom drove her to the hospital when she went into labor with Kris' first baby, because her husband was out on a job site and they didn't expect the baby that soon, mol! Kris is a proud grandma now!
Yeah, our weather has been warm, but really windy! We aren't complaining, though, considering the nasty weather that's been rolling through the Mid-west. Mom is just stunned by the sheer scope of the tornado devastation, whew! Those poor people!
We'll take our chances with the occasional quake out here in California. I can't imagine going through that kind of weather on an annual basis!
So, what's Mom been up to? Allergies getting to her?

Mol! It sounds like your mom had a lot of fun at Woodstock '94 ! Mom hates to admit it, but she remembers the original Woodstock, heh, heh. She's here in Calif., so she didn't go there, but she definitely remembers what a big event it was!
Mom's company was a friend she has known most of her life! She was in the City for a hair salon appt., and set up a lunch date with the folks. She ended up staying until a bit after 10pm, so Mom didn't have much chance to post any kitty visits. She got a lot of catch up time with her friend, though.

Thanks for asking about my little paw. It is alright. Them antibiotcis are taking the swelling away and the redness is also gone, but the nail is still protruding, so we know more FRI.
We were hot hot hot today, it is still May and we hit 89*, can you believe that?? it was also humid, we were under a severe t-storm warning til 8pm, but we only had a 5 minute shower, mom said that was not even enough to water 1 flower, so mom watered her flowers at 8pm when the sun went down.
Right now we are watching our game, and we are ahead in the 3rd period, so maybe we will win this and be ahead by 2 games. Our arena is LOUD, you can't hear much of anything except for the fans. The announcers said it is deafening...MOL!!!
Mom said she will take a cool shower and drowen herself, she is so hot....she couldn't hang outside with the heat, so she came in and painted her dresser and vanity, but cause of the humidity it is taking forever to dry.

Pretty picture! Mom does like her therapist. Her knee only hurt when Nancy was trying to push the leg way back more than 90%. But now Mom needs to arrange for out patient therapy. She needs to start using machines. Dreary day. Weather fore cast for the upcoming week looks like rain every day. Makes it hard for Mom to get out. Well, that's good news! Your mom deserves all the best! So we hope you two get to spend a nice, relaxing, stress-free weekend with mom! Sometimes its great to be able to just unwind, kick back, and enjoy doing nothing more than watching a favorite movie in ones pj's and enjoy lounging until early afternoon. Mol! Tell her we wish her a great weekend!
Of course, no weekend is truly complete without a couple of soft, fluffy purr machines on one's lap! At least that's what I've been told, heh, heh!
Our folks are going to have one of Mom's friends over for lunch, tomorrow, since she's gonna be in the City for a hair salon appointment anyway, so she and Mom get a chance to catch up!
Otherwise, nothing else happening with us.
Sunday is a big foot race in SF, called Bay to Breakers! It attracts tens of thousands of people, so the folks are gonna just cocoon that day! Too much traffic and it will be the usual annual circus!

It's for real!
Google it, all the boring science is on the website, along with pictures of Mike (the chicken). The T-shirt logo is in my gallery. Evie has her ’56 Ford Fairlane entered in the Mikes May Madness Car Show, Mike (my brother) is in training for the big wing eatin’ contest which happens after the 5K “Run Like a Headless Chicken” run. I totally could not make this stuff up!
All this happens tomorrow (Saturday), then it looks like we have to hustle to catch up to Q. Cherish's Hawaiian cruise. Now, in the "other" world, my pawrents have one of those doing nothing weekends going on, too. It’s Mike the Headless Chicken Day!
Yes, you heard me right! Let’s head off to Fruita, Colorado for the Mike the Headless Chicken Festival
This is absolutely for real! The story starts on September 10, 1945 when Fruita, Colorado, farmer Lloyd Olsen chose a chicken for his evening meal. Mr. Olsen cut off the bird’s head, but Mike just shook it off and continued trying to peck for food. He lived for 18 months and went on a national tour as “The Headless Wonder Chicken”. I know we can all relate to Mike’s example that you can live a normal life, even after you have lost your mind.
Can this event possibly be missed? There’s a 5k Run, Bike Poker Ride, Disc Golf Tournament, and eating contests, along with live music and food. Beware of flipped over rugs...
I'm giving myself a big paws up because I was the one that caught a mouse this time! I had to growl at my sisters to make sure they left him alone while I played so you can probably imagine the pleading looks on their faces as they were sidelined...MOL! When I was finished with my game I made sure to put the playing piece on mom's rug & flip it over so he was covered & she'd have fun finding her 'gift'. When mom headed in the direction that I'd hidden her special surprise I was right on her heels meowing. She saw the rug, flipped it back & I meowed "purrprise" & rubbed against her legs. Hmmm...I started thinking my lovely gift was not very appreciated because I heard her say "that's gross Patchy" before she called dad to remove it. She did pick me up & tell me that I was a good girl as dad tossed him outside so at least I know my prowess is appreciated, even if the hidden present was not...MOL! My sisters have been jealous so they're on rodent patrol when they're awake plus have been shadowing me everywhere I go. Dream on kitties because the Patchy mouse patrol is now in charge...MOL!
Well there's not much else happening yet on this cool, cloudy morning so will paw you a vote & a triple berry muffin so I can head toward a good napping spot. Have a purrfect weekend & I'll meow at you again next week.

another morning vote. one load down one more to go and janet will be done with the wash. she might take chances and plant things like beans today and then put netting up over it so the birds won't get at them. she's having breakfast as we speak to you and then in another 5 minutes will be back outside getting the last load up on the lines. she's going to sit out later on in the sun as it's not going to be quite as warm as the lower 80s of yesterday, but lower 70s which is still nice, but we wanted it warmer, can't always get what you want, so take what we can get when we can get it! sandy,ana,haley angelsCome visit me, ana, haley, malachi is my boyfriend! whiskerscotm & sandy, angels, vote whiskers cotm!.

This sweet kitty joined the angels in February 2013 after losing his battle with complications that developed after being hit by a car the month before. He’d survived having both legs broken & surgery, but was unable to walk & had to drag himself to the litterbox. He was very brave & stayed a very sweet boy during all of the pain, infections, examinations & becoming a foster; but the angels knew that his life would not be a full one with his disabilities & thus called him home. Please pounce by to paw ANGEL CRASH #248838 a vote today so that his foster mom will have a fond memory to cherish & so that this sweet angel can earn the honor of making his star the most brilliant in the night sky tomorrow night.
Congratulations to our newest royal cat QUEEN SPUNKY #161265!! Your campaign about the details of cat shows was stupendous & we learned a lot about how things work for the fabulous show cats. We’re looking forward to some California sunshine during May as you reign from your house on the beach & look forward to hearing more letters to God from beloved pets. Have a great time as our new queen & thank you for an enchanting campaign month.

Hey Miss Chloe!
Glad we could help you celebrate your birthday! Got pretty warm today! Think it got up to 80*. But there was still a nice breeze and it was a pleasant day. Mom walked to the Post Office and drug store. She had her last PT session today. She has to arrange for out-patient therapy now. She is checking to see if Workman's Comp will pay for a driver but she figures she will probably get stuck taking buses. Leaving a vote. Peace & love. Have a purrfect evening. Kitty Kisses. My new X-Rays looked good. The vet cut my meds to twice a week. Said I was to take them for one month and then if I did OK I could go off them. Sure hope so, I don't like that old pill popper going in my mouth and I don't like Pill Pockets. J.C.Come visit me, Mimi 184008 & J.C..
