My Shu
I want to let you all know that my precious Shulamite passed away on February 4, 2010. He had been very sick with cancer - he was 18 years old and lived a good life and my family is so happy for the previlege of having him bless our lives for so many years.
He will be missed. He was a very unique cat. He will never be forgotten. I am going to leave his profile on Cat Channel as a tribute to Shu.
I still have 3 cats here at home and will be adding their profiles soon.
Love your cats and take time to shower them with love and attention every day. Time passes so quickly - it's important to hug them every day - make the most of time together - and make memories.
I love you Shu and you will never be forgotten. Thank you for the gift of your love for 18 years.

More Woes
My mom and dad added a new addition to our family - another cat - her name is Leah - now there are 5 of us here. Leah hates me - chases me and won't let me rest - what to do. I'm 15 years old - she is less than a year old. Lots of energy. But she should be respecting her elders don't you think?Come visit me, Shulamite.

You're a very handsome guy! We love looking at all of your pictures! We're from Irwin! We've been hunting for fellow Pittsburghers to visit - there aren't that many! Why do you think that is? Guess we have to spred the word. Mommy said that our brother Sonny (who went to the Rainbow Bridge before we were adopted) chewed on wires, too, so she has all the wires in our house covered with those little curlie cue plastic sleeves (Radio Shack has 'em to cover computer wires), but we never got into that anyway. Just passing by and wanted to give you a vote. My Grammy remembers Morris the Cat. He was one of her favorite Celebrities when she was young. There were actually 2. They tried to replace the 1st one when he passed away, but there just was no comparison. He had personality with a Capital P. You look like you do too. Were' doin allright - course we were a bit peeved that Mom got out of bed too soon - she didn't give us enough attention - course Tommy got his breakfast - and we all shared a little - except we left over the chicken and rice - who needs rice anyway? Rough Day
Today started out very bad for me. My sister Sweetie decided that she wanted the wicker basket for herself and tried to intimidate me out of it. When that didn't work the rascal tore into me with a vengence. Oh, my, these women. Anyway, I stood my ground and Judah (my buddy, my pal) came over to chase her off me. Even Maricha (my other sibling) was hissing at Sweetie. My parents were watching and then mommy came over to comfort me.Come visit me, Shulamite.

Hello Shulamite, I'm glad you are enjoying The cat Channel. Yes, you must eb VERY< VERY careful not to have your sweetness gobbled up by a wolf or coyote. We are in the suburbs, but still need to be careful of that.
I'm so sorry to hear about your mom's fingers, and we sure will be praying for her. Is that plural? more than one finger? ouch! Oh, I bet it's the hand she types with too. Pleas e, please include my mommy in your prayers. She hurt her right hand, and is off to the hand specialist in a couple of weeks. It's some sort of tendon thing that has been going on for months. Finally she bypassed her doctor and called a hand specialist. OMG, me/she/us are so hoping that surgery, or any nasties are not needed. Mom doesn't care how long it takes to heal as long as she's headed in the corect direction...Mom asked you to say a little prayer for her church as well. It was recently involved in a split, and i sgoing though a lot of turmoil.....WEll, little Shu, you take care of your mommy....you look like such a little angel....soooo sweet....I gotta go clean up a little mess, before mom gets home. I tossed a pack of pictures all over the floor.....purrs and of course a vote..Come visit me, Pawstuctaway Serengeti.

Morris
Anyone out there remember Morris? I don't - before my time I think - but I've been told I look and act like him. He was cool too - even got himself in tv commercials. Boy, what a thing to aspire to. That would show those other creatures I live with who's #1.Come visit me, Shulamite.

Where I live
I live in Ontario, Canada but my mommy originally came from Pennsylvania. We love it here - live in the country - have to be very careful I don't get out and get eaten by a wolf or coyote!Come visit me, Shulamite.

Shulamite today
Shu loves attention as you might have guessed. He loves for me to go in and shake the cat feeder before he eats - even though it really doesn't need it. Would you say he has me wrapped around his finger? He also loves getting his picture taken. I have over 100 photos of him.
