What a Valentine's Day!
Mommy told us that our visit to the vet this past Saturday was a Valentine's Day gift to us from her. She said that she loves us soooo much and she just wants us to be healthy so we can be with her for a long, long time. Give us a break, Mommy. It's a good thing that you had treats and toys for us for Valentine's Day, too, because the doctor thing just wasn't a good present! Anyway, we sang for Mommy (at the top of our lungs) the whole way to the vet's and the whole way back. We were pretty good while we were in the exam room, though. Keelin needs to get her teeth cleaned, but Brianna is alright. We don't know why that is because we get our teeth brushed every other day, but Keelin still has build-up on hers. Mommy says that she'll do that when the weather gets a little better. In answer to your question, Keelin loves to be held, but Brianna prefers to cuddle on her own terms. It was sooooo good to hear from you! It's been a long time. We aren't on the site as often as we were before, but we do check in once in a while (Mommy is trying to get lots of points to earn us something really good) and we were so happy to see that you visited. Mommy finally decided that there's been enough noise around the house for a while, so, after the inside was painted before the holidays (phew!), the noise has finally stopped (for a while, anyway). Guess what? We have to go to the vet's on Saturday for our annual checkups. Ugh. We'll get a stroller ride, but we're not sure if it's worth it. We hope that you come to visit again soon. We're missing you again! It's been about a week since we've been here, so we thought it was time to check in with you. How's your little girl? Is she still bringing those book things home? We can't rest today because those guys are back in the garage below us making all kinds of noise making Mommy's 1-car garage back into a 2-car garage. Mommy told us that it will just be another day or two, but they're really disturbing our beauty rest because they're right under our bedroom! The nerve! We noticed that you haven't been on here for about 2 weeks. We hope that you haven't given up on us or Club Cat! Please don't! We're sorry that it took us so long to visit you, but Mommy bought us a new house and between that and work and commuting, we can't blog visit as much as we used to. But we'll come by as often as we can and we have lots of friends who would love to meet you! I am writing to you today about our Mouse Hockey League. Many of your friends have enjoyed playing this new sport with us this past season. Our players are young and old, male and female, and breeds of all types. If you are a live cat, you are eligible. We are expanding the league size this year and are looking for many new kitties to make up the new teams. All games are simulated by computer, so your physical presence is NOT mandatory at game time. Many cats check the game results later to see how their team fared and to check out their personal performance. If you would like your CC membership to be more exciting and are looking for greater interaction with other kitties, mouse hockey may be your answer. New teams are forming NOW. If you are interested, please visit Scamper's page (#39429) for more information. Since Scamper currently has his hands full with early returns by new recruits, I am helping him, for the time being, by sending out more solicitations and organizing the responses, allowing his efforts to be more efficient. Please reply to ME with your questions or to sign up. If two kitties from your household wish to play, please indicate if they prefer the same team assignment or if they would prefer to compete on separate teams. (If you wish to be a goalie for your team, you might mention that, also.) We will try to accommodate any special requests you may have. Happy Tuesday. I hate the vet also. It took my dad 4 times to catch me to even get me to the vet. My little sister just went yesterday, and she wasn't happy about it. Boy, you don't look "tiny" to me. You look like a big dude and older for your age. You must be wise then?? I was born in Charleston, South Carolina, but I now live with my Mom and Aunt in Valencia, California.
Are you allowed to go outdoors? I'm not anymore, but I am slowly getting used to it. Besides, Mommy and Auntie dote on me a lot. I have great fun with them.
I wish you could come over to my house. Mommy and Auntie would feed us long grass called red fescue and catnip from their garden.
