We are shedding tears with you Mom Carla. We know what you are going through and our prayers are with you and Princess. I've sent my angel siblings out to look for her and guide her back home along with sprinkling her and all of you with angel dust. Of course, we'll keep sweet Princess in our thoughts and prayers that she will return home, soon. It's awful when a kitty goes missing! ♥ Mom woke up early this morning with a very tired and sore body. Her and dad basically took it easy other than mom taking care of us and also gathering the garbage and yard debris then taking the containers to the curb for morning pick up!!!!

♥ Mom and dad will be back to their busy days again starting Monday. Mom says we will be getting lots of cattery time this week since we are suppose to have Summerlike weather all week!!!!

♥ K. FIDEL 14733; TONANTZIN 14732 & CHE 14734 as their sweet momma SARA CAZARES went to her Forever Sleep yesterday (4/20/2013) morning from complications follwing a stroke she had last year. Sara was a very active momma with her husband, 2 sons, 3 fur kits & 1 doggie as well with the schools and politics. She was still a young woman at age 48. She also used to be very active on CC. Many of us old CC timers were close to Sara and her kitties.
We are so sad to learn of her Forever Sleep and she will be deeply missed!!!!
Please keep this family in your prayers.

As many of you know, 17 year old Minnie D Purrl crossed the Rainbow Bridge on Tuesday 4/2. Minnie was a member of a wonderful family of cats known as the Windy Point Gang.

We’re choosing to copy Dad Mike’s exact words that he used to tell us she had crossed--

“She was losing her battle with Hyperthyroidism and her quality of life had decreased dramatically over the last five days. This afternoon Minnie was assisted by our vet, Dr Madsen and myself on her journey. She was 17 years old when she passed.

It is particularly sad for me because Minnie had given me a litter of seven Easter Kitties when she was only 9 months old. I always celebrated Mother's Day with her on Easter. (Sigh...) This year we celebrated with some baby food that I held for her since she was too weak to stand and eat.

Minnie leaves behind her boyfriend Tiger Mann, who is the last of the original Windy Pointers...and of course, her sad Dad.”

Minnie is now a member of the Windy Point Angels #237234, those members of the Windy Point Gang who are now Angels at the Rainbow Bridge. We learned that this special group of Angels has never received their COTD badge, and we want to change that by making them our COTD winner on 4/6. Good Morning Tabitha
The Woes of Princess O: Once again I am in trouble...Might I add it is not my fault...I know your thinking to yourself I always say that, but really, really it was not my fault...I am innocent I tell you, innocent...Here are the true facts....Look we all know cats are curious, we all know we tend to get attracted to certain things and my thing is food...But, I digress...Last night started like any other ordinary night...The Ketchup Addict, my Mother ( I don't know what that means but that is what my Daddy calls her) was eating potato skins ( not that it matters cause the woman puts ketchup on everything) at least that is what my Daddy says ... Again I digress...So, when she ( the woman who claims to love, adore and worship me) , (okay maybe she doesn't say worship although she should) finished eating she put her plate on the chest we use as a coffee table...Now here is where I present my case..I drink my water from my bowl on top of the chest, I get my head rubs & treats while sitting on the chest, I frequent the top of the chest on a daily basis...Get the picture so far ???...Anywho, I jumped on the chest to get a drink & what do I see but a plate with ketchup...Might I add, I like anything with tomatoes...So, as any other kitty would do I tasted it & I realized this is something I've tasted before and I like it...Yup, you know what's coming, I ate it, I ate all of it and it was yummy..Just then, out of the blue, the Ketchup Addict jumps up and yells " Princess! What are you doing, your going to get sick" & at that moment I knew it was going to happen, I up chucked all over the chest & then again in 3 other spots on the rug...Seriously, the woman kept saying " I told you so" taunting me...Really, really, I am up chucking all over & she's taunting me...Of course I went under my stroller when I was finished, feeling hurt because I ask you, who is at fault here ?..Hello, I didn't leave a plate with ketchup on the table where I frequent she did...I only did what a normal red blooded kitty would do...I indulged & enjoyed it even if it did come back up...Anyway, she told my Daddy I was the "B" word...Oreo whispers "bad"...What a travesty !!! What a mean, unacceptable thing to call me ...I get blamed for her stupidity...But, of course my Daddy told her she was " totally in the wrong as well as careless"...Yeah Daddy...So although she called me the "B" word, we know who was really at fault....Now I think she should be kissing my pretty little oops, I mean she really should think before she speaks and of course give me treats whenever I ask for them..Do you agree? "All in favor say I"...I rest my case...Parents, you can't live with them and you can't live without them...Oh, and just to make sure my Mother knew I was very hissy at her, I left her a nice, wet, juicy hairball where she puts her feet when she gets out of bed....Have a purrfect day..Purrs, Princess Purrfect

EUGENE, OREGON WEATHER REPORT:
The temperature was high 41 & low was 37 this morning, now it's 41 feels like 43 with humidity 89% & wind is 3 MPH WNW. Sunday's suppose to be Rain & High 45.

♥ We let mom take Friday Knight off as our CC Secretary as long as she spent time with us, which I can happily say she held me for awhile as she watched tv from the couch.

♥ Suezee 11528 decided she was going to stay in the back room Thursday night so mom let her. About 1:00am mom heard meowing over the monitor & knew Suezee was wanting out.

♥ Mom went to PetSmart Friday morning on her way to do another errand in the next town, so she bought [2] 40 lb boxes of ExQuisiCat Litter; 24 cans Friskies food and one bag of Friskies Crispies treats.

♥ When mom got home & put things away, she fed us then she went out in the front yard to do some Wintery yard. She started cutting the rose bushes back then dad went out to help her, she trimmed limbs on her Curly Willow tree, they transplanted one of the Golden Curly Willow trees also transplanted a couple rose bushes & miniture rose bushes.

♥ Olaaay!!!! Our team; the Oregon Ducks QUACKED so loud over Kansas in the Fiesta Bowl!!!! Score 32 to 17. They scored their first touchdown within 10 minutes at the start of the game.

Happy New Year Tabitha & Family
Princess Diaries: Thank you so much for your concern about us after Hurricane Sandy...We had a rough go there for awhile but we are all okay...It's a new year and we fervently hope that 2013 we will be a better one...We wish for good health & happiness for our friends and loved ones, we pray for peace in the world and we hope that there will be an end to all the violence that has taken too many lives in our country... It's been a long time since I've been able to visit friends, we were just to sad to blog after the loss of Gin Gin's Daddy Vic and the terrible losses that happened to the 26 Angels at Sandy Hook, Ct....Thankfully life is finally getting back to normal after a really horrible 2012 which devastated many families, homes, communities and our country....We had a quiet New Years Eve at home watching the " Silver Fox" Anderson Cooper bring in 2013...Mommy says " If loving Anderson Cooper is wrong, she doesn't want to be right "...MOL....We all curled up on the couch and when the ball dropped at midnight Mommy kissed and hugged me and then I promptly sat on her lap for quite some time.... Mommy is calling me Lappy Cat again, silly Mommy...I just love getting my head rubs & you know it is also cold out and Mommy's lap is warm..Yesterday, I laid on Daddy's Lap & you would have thought somebody gave him a million dollars...Daddy was so silly & happy I got extra treats...Geesh, what a sucker...As if I didn't know what a soft touch he is...Anywho, I had a very scary incident happen to me the other day...I was sound asleep right next to Mommy about 5:30am when all of a sudden I knew a hairball was coming but before I could move I started hocking & Mommy woke up & almost scared one of my nine lives right out of me...She started freaking out in the dark but I bolted and as I was flying off the bed I had a projectile hairball which landed right at the foot of the bed...I flew into the living room scared something was wrong with Mommy right behind me...Finally she realized she scared me (she was trying to find something to put under me) and then she tried to pick me up...Oh no, not gonna happen, I needed some time to myself so I went under my stroller still in the dark...I was only doing what any normal kitty does hocking up a hairball but my Mommy made me think I was doing something wrong & in the dark no less...What is wrong with this woman?...I have allowed her to share the last 10 years of my life with me & she still doesn't get how embarrassing & upsetting hocking up a hairball is ?...When I finally settled down I went back to bed right next to her & graced Mommy with my presence once again...She sure is lucky I am such a forgiving and sweet natured girl...So, as you can see my life is pretty much back to normal..I sure am happy about that...We have had enough sadness to last for a really long time...Sure hope all is well at your house...It is good to be back, see you next week...Purrs, Princess Lappy Cat

These kittens were rescued from a feral Mom and have found a safe and happy home with us! Hi Tabby Sweetheart and all the Ga. Gang!
I sure have missed you, Sweetheart, but Mom does not spend as much time on the computer any more. She says things sure are different now Dad is retired and home all day, MOL! In the first place, she has to cook him a big breakfast every day, and then a big supper every night. He has to fend for himself during the day!

We had a busy day around here today, let me tell you! Mom decided to write some Christmas cards, so I lay on the stack of cards she had laid out to address, to help her keep focused! Meanwhile, Deidre got herself crammed down in the box of gift wrap Mom had set out for her next project. Sweetie Pie decided to sprawl his entire 20 something pound self across the dining room table, right where Mom was going to write her cards. Mom poured herself another cup of coffee while she tried to figure out how she was going to write cards and wrap gifts with all this help. While she was trying to figure it all out, she saw Peanut go streaking by with a long string of unrolled postage stamps dangling from his mouth! We are all the bestest helpers!

Sweetheart, would you like to go Christmas shopping with me? I could use the help in picking out a gift for Mom and Dad. I was thinking of some catnip stuffed mice, or maybe a new feather wand toy, or maybe even a big box of Goodlife cat treats! You could even help me pick out something for you! Tabby laughs at silly Simba, they join paws and prance out the door to go shopping!

Thank you so very much for your concern for us. Yes we are fine. Losing power for five days was nothing compared to all those in NJ & NY who lost so much. We continue to pray for them. Not happy to hear CC will make some changes next month. But very relieved they will not screw it up like DC! Still. Can't they just leave it alone? Rather chilly this morning but suppose to be in the mid 50's all week. Still pretty cold when Mom gets up. She is hoping for a mild winter. We don't care. Princess Diaries: I understand it's all your Mom's fault you don't visit to often...I have the same problem with my Mom...As you can see she always has an excuse why I can't visit my friends all the time...Our Mom's are so mean...MOL....Mommy has been sick with a stomach thingy for awhile and she hasn't felt up to doing anything so of course I suffer because of it...I have been taking really good care of Mommy...I even keep laying on her lap and she keeps calling me her "Lappy Cat" again...I haven't laid on her lap since last winter...I don't like to be held, I like to lay or sit next to Mommy...I love when she rubs my head and kisses me...When we go to sleep I like to lay right next to Mommy's head with my legs up against her...But, if she picks me up I give her a few minutes to hold me and then I want to get down and sit next to her or in front of her and I wait for her to kiss my forehead and pet me and if she doesn't I just tap her on the arm until she does...I never have enough head rubs or kisses and Mommy says I purr like a motorboat...Anywho, since she has been sick I have been giving her extra attention so I figured sitting on her lap is the least I can do if it makes her happy...I know I'm a real pearl, a sparkling diamond, a peach...What can I say I'm a bit modest...MOL...Daddy made Mommy a big pot of Matzo Ball and Noodle Soup and I got to taste it...It was yummy...Other then that things have been really quiet...I am looking forward to Mommy's vacation on Oct.21st...She will be off for 17 days...She told me she isn't doing anything but spending her time with me and Daddy...I can't wait...Hope all is well at your house...See you soon...Purrs, Princess Lappy Cat

Princess Diaries: Great hearing from you...We know about not getting cooperation when our Mommy is to busy...Mommy is always to tired to blog for me cause of her awful work hours...She works 11pm to 7am and she says when she was younger it was a cinch but now that she is an old lady...Sorry but you are 58 Mom and that's old to me...MOL...Anyway, now at her advanced age all she wants to do when she is home is sleep or lay on the couch and watch TV...MOL...It sure seems like it's been a long time since I visited my friends...Last week we celebrated the Jewish Holiday of Rosh Hashanah and Mommy had some other things to deal with so no blogging for me for awhile...Of course that means I had to suffer and miss my friends while Mommy was taking care of business...MOL...I have been spending my days sitting on my window sill enjoying the cool ocean breeze...I love the way it feels when it blows thru my my whiskers and fur...It has been pretty nice since the atrocious heat and humidity of the summer has left & all the "shoobies" have gone home and our nice, little town is finally quiet and peaceful again...Last week we had an really loud, noisy storm which scared the daylights out of me...The wind was so bad it sounded like a Tornado was outside my window for hours......I retreated under the couch which really upset Mommy...I kept going under there even after the storm passed which worried Mommy to the point of thinking I was sick..I was eating, using the litter box and still coming out for treats, head kisses and massages from Mommy...After 2 days of back and forth Mommy realized I was just scared and once I relaxed and realized the noise was gone I went back to my usual napping places and have only gone under the couch a couple times...Geesh Mommy, maybe I just like the seclusion under the couch...I have also been having a blast playing with Mr. Stripes my orange mousy...He has a super long tail and I like to throw him in the air and then bunny kick his tail and then zoom around the room ending with a giant pounce on Mr. Stripes head......Mommy says I am some adorable when I do that...Hey, I think I'm adorable all the time...Sorry Mommy but I'm not being obnoxious I am only telling the truth...I have been enjoying our special bonding time when Mommy puts me on her chest and combs and brushes me...I purr like a motor boat, it feels really good...MOL..So, as you can see life is good right now and I have been pretty laid back...Maybe it's been to quiet and I need to find some trouble to get into or at least something to entertain my parents...After all that's my job...Being a Cat is a thankless job, but somebody has to do it...MOL...See you next week...Warmest wishes with kitty kisses...Purrs, Princess Pretty

Hello pretty Tabitha & family!! How are you, friends?
We had a lovely sunny day and the temperature reached +80F.
Mrs.Pucca and I were glad to have a long napp in our back yard where the green parrots were making lots of noise up on their tree. Those birdies are lots of fun!
Dad´s little oranges tree is in bloom. Mom loves the white flowers on it and we love their smell.
The tree is also full of oranges, they´re bitter oranges. Mom brought Grandma many of them and she made oranges jam.
I hope you have purrfect night and lots of mice dreams. We´re sending you a huge bunch of whiskers kisses and extra special purrs.

We had a blast at your pawty & were very happy to read that you also won a CROTD award! Sounds like your day was pawsitively purrfect :)

Mom has been taking advantage of the warm, breezy day to hang sheets & blankets on the line before the remnants of Isaac's rain moves into the area. They're calling for storms tomorrow & possibly Sunday but have lowered their rainfall amounts to around 2". We're hoping & praying that all of our CC & DC furiends in the path of the storm earlier this week are all okay & that none of them suffered any damages or losses.

Dad's hand & arm are 100% better today so he went to work. When he called at lunch he said they were acting like he'd been gone a long time so is happy to have a 3 day weekend coming up.
Fluffinella learned a very hard lesson last night. She made the mistake of pouncing on Trixie when she walked into the bedroom & quickly learned that if you mess with a cyclone you'll always get the worst part of it's spinning fury...MOL! Trixie whacked her & chased her under the loveseat then kept lifting up the skirt around it to hiss. Fluffers thought she'd try sneaking up on her shortly after that & got herself whacked again. She disappeared under the bed that time & didn't come back out until she knew Trixie was up on the bed getting ready to go to sleep. I think little Fluffers has a bit of a catitude herself though because she dragged out the squeaky mouse & jingle ball then proceeded to play right beneath where Trixie was laying. Lucky for the little white whirlwind that the cyclone was sleepy...MOL! I get along great with her now but can tell that Trixie is jealous & Patches is still in denial. Every time I look for Patches she's sitting on the cat tree or couch in the living room & refuses to come anywhere near our new addition. If memory serves, she acted the exact same way when Trixie arrived. Gotta love her even if she is a grump about kittens...MOL! One thing I can say for certain though is that it definitely has NOT affected either of their appetites! I caught Patches eating my Blue food instead of hers. When I tried to push her aside she lifted her paw at me. "OH NO...you did not just do that" was my reaction, along with a light whack on the ears! I might be a laid back guy but NOBODY pushes me around in MY house...not even the dog!! This is my castle & I rule it with calm purrs but if you push me too hard...Well let's just say that they don't want to see my temper...MOL! Hey it's getting late so I'd better sign off for now & I'll meow more at you next week.

BELATED HAPPY BIRTHDAY WISHES, SWEETHEART!
I am so sorry that I missed your Happy Birthday, but we have been totally engrossed in getting ready for Hurricane Isaac, and then dealing with it when it hit us (just outside Jackson, MS) with high wind and heavy rain. I've got a little gift for you though. (Tabby takes the little pink wrapped package, opens it, and sees the beautiful little paw ring with a Tiger Eye stone! Simba slips the ring on her paw and says "it looks purrfect on such a beautiful paw! They both start giggling!)

UPDATE FROM BLUEBERRY HILL IN CENTRAL MISSISSIPPI
Hi all our dear friends!
It has rained continuously here for almost 24 hours but has now slowed down to a mist, thank goodness! Lots of wind and that caused loss of power during the night (it came back on quickly) and lots of really big limbs down in our yard. Mom and Dad got in their rain coats and toured the property to be sure the chain link fence is still intact so the dogs can't get out. They found a really big limb, so water logged and heavy that Dad could hardly drag it, that had fallen right next to the fence. If it had fallen on the fence, it would have brought it down. It will take a couple of days to get all the smaller limbs cut up and out of the yard, but when we sit and watch the Weather Channel we feel blessed to have been spared. We are still under a Tornado Watch, but hopefully none will materialize!

We are keeping the family of Angel Nala of the ARL Alumni in our prayers. Mom Marie is heartbroken to have lost the special kitty of her heart. Nala came into her life and showed her how much happier life can be when a precious kitty is part of it.

We are also praying for Queen Felicity who took a hard fall during the night and had to be rushed to the Vet. Felicity will be checked and monitored throughout the day, and her Mom will pick her up tonight.

We hope all is well with our central Mississippi neighbors Bouie & family, and Casper Todd & family. Bouie probably lives within walking distance of us, while Casper Todd is probably 40 miles away. We hope both families have their electricity and have suffered no damage to their homes. Dad's 2 brothers and 1 sister who live in Ocean Springs MS, Gulfport MS, and Mobile AL are reporting they are having no major problems. We are keeping all in the path of Tropical Storm Isaac in our prayers.
