Aw, don't worry about it! The last two weeks I've been visiting my sister in South Carolina - so I haven't been able to religiously check up on everyone. I'm so sad to hear about an illness in the family. I hope everything will be okay. On a lighter note: I'm starting to think about renaming Bailey, "Houdini". He is getting very good at opening doors! I'm pretty afraid that when I come home, although my brother pet sits, that he might be gone! I'm seriously considering getting him microchipped, even though I almost feel like it could be animal cruelty. I just don't know what to do! Baby Boo here. I'm pawing in secert, I have a funny story to tell and please, please don't tell Duffus and especially Tiger Man. Friday night, I was dictating to mom on my blogs when Tiger Man and Duffus come running into the office. They both stopped fast, mom looked and there were very long legs sticking out from under Tiger Man's face. Duffus was trying to get at it too. Mom pushed Tiger Man away and we saw the largest spider ever. Mom said the body was bigger than a half dollar, whatever that means. Mom screamed when it started running towards her and Tiger Man and Duffus were trying to get to it. Mom took her slipper and slapped it, it was still coming at her and she did it again, and again and again. My human brother came running down stairs to see what the noise was and he stopped died away. Mom got the broom and dust pan and scooped it up and it started moving again, she dropped it and took up her slipper again and was beating it. The whole time, my human brother was yelling "It's still alive". I think she did hit it about 3 or 4 more times and it was still moving. While it was slow moving mom scooped it back up with the dust pan and ran it outside. Tiger Man and Duffus at her heels, meowing "I found it first, it's mine!!" They were mad at mom for hours after. Saturday mom got up, she was moving alot of furniture and cleaning things. I think she was looking for more spiders to slap with her slipper. I believe Tiger Man is still a little mad at Mom for not letting him have his spider. But I think he will get over it. Today has been a very wet and hot one. It's rained most of the day, has stopped some now. So, mom said I could get on for a bit. I'm so behind on my blogs, especially since I'm the only one that really paws them. Tiger Man does some to his buddies and Duffus a few here and there, but I am usuallly the one to get on for most of the blogs. But don't get me wrong, Duffus and Tiger Man love to get on and read their blogs, but they always ask me to answer them when I'm on. I guess I can paw faster than them. MOL!! Well, better run, Tiger Man is trying to look over my ears, to see what I'm pawing. Pawing a vote your way from us Florida kitties. Howz those babies doing? I'm still watching the babies around here, they come to me like I'm their mama and I don't bother telling them I'm a GUY! Four of the boys got their rabies shots today so the vet will fix them in 10 days and then they get to go to Petsmart and maybe find their forever homes. But of course they always will have a home here, no matter what. And now the lady who likes to do bottle feeding when we need her has found another little abandoned kitten for us to take as soon as we get a spot. It's like it's raining kittens this summer! Well take care of those sweetie pies and yourself, too, of course. Maybe your mama's feeding you Kitten Chow now, too, it's good for working mamas! Trill on, pretty girl, trill on!
