Hi Novalee--you remind me of our little Elspeth! Such a cutie! I can’t tell you all how surprised and happy I was to see Manie receive COTD today! He has been asked to put up with a lot (including taming and teaching all of the new kittens that come to us!) over the past 17 years and hasn’t complained (too much) about any of it. He has been my husband’s big baby from the beginning and is special to me in that he was my very first cat. I can still remember the time when he was an only cat (so long ago!) and we two always spent the nice sunny mornings sitting together on the couch, sharing my blueberry yogurt. However, I am sorry to say that he is fast losing mobility in his hind quarters and secluding himself in the far corners of the house as of late, and I have a feeling I know what the prognosis and suggestion will be at his consult next week. I cherish all of your messages to him and do plan to print them out (if no one objects) and keep all of your lovely, caring comments in his memory box when that time comes. But for today, he is truly the King Cat, and we plan to celebrate with him and let him know how much he is loved. Thank you so much for the catgrats on my COD yesterday. We didn't find out till this morning. Mom and Dad were gone to take my human brother back to school. They didn't get in till almost midnight last night. Mom said they took their time coming back and went shopping at an outlet store. Mom didn't even know, and she brought us toys back. MOL!! She gave me a new fishing pole with a little fish on it. Man, is it fun. And she got some new catnip for our beds. Baby Boo is in the kitchen cooking up a storm. Tiger Man has been great too, he's waiting paw and paw on me. Mom said no one else can get on the computer until I have finished my thank you blogs. It's wonderful. MOL!!! Thank you so much for the catgrats on my COD today. I was so excited when mom came and woke me. I didn't even accept it, cause I wasn't able to stay long on the computer yesterday due to the storms we got. It's wonderful. Duffus is in the kitchen and told me not to come in, so she is making something special. And big O Tiger Man is waiting paw and paw on me. And then there's mom, well, I had to tell her to chill.
