How We Met
17 years ago, I had just lost my beautiful Kisa to kidney disease when 2 kitties started hanging around my office building.Millie was just a kitten at the time, and Greta was about 6 months old.I didn't think I was emotionally prepared to take on another kitty, let alone two, but they convinced me otherwise. Sadly, we lost Millie's 'sister' Greta to cancer last year :(
Millie went to the Rainbow Bridge to join her on January 26, 2008.

We are privileged that our Sweet Queen Cherish, brings us all around the world on this spectacular cruise. Today We are going to be riding through mythology once again! Yet this time, its time to be battle ready. Prepare for the Battle between ZEUS AND THE TITANS! ~Kitties race through the grassy roads. Preparing to see the past with a little help from the angels!~ Angel Hercules, Angel Sarah, Angel Tiger, Angel Louie, Angel Jezebel, and Angel Pierre are going to be using their magic angel cloud dust to turn back the clock and be Time Ghosts. Being Time Ghosts is going back in time, wittnessing what wants or needs to be witnessed but not being able to interact. For instance, when we watch the Battle between Zeus and The Titans, they wont see us, hear us, feel our presence or even have the slightest thought of us in their minds. Now Who is ready to see a real battle? Okay! ~Hercules and his Angel Friends start to sprinkle magic Angel Cloud dust all over the clouds. The Clouds start to quiver and rain come pouring down, all of a sudden all of the kitties are in a large dark blue scenery with ancient artifacts all around them. Thunder booms and lighting crackles and a loud voice yells in honor at enemies. There, Zeus stands tall with a lighting bolt stretching in his fist, reading to smoke any creature who defies its creator. The Cyclops had created these strong pieces of nature that Gaia approved of. The Titans, stood battle ready. Preparing to take over Olympus. Zeus wouldent allow this, with a loud cry Zeus flung his first Lighting bolt at the horrible Titans, 300 of them were now out of the way but thousands still stood. They rampaged through Olympus, tearing everything up in their path, the sirens loured other gods to their sake, before Zeus and Hercules saved them. Zeus flew to the top of Mt. Olympus casting off his Lighting bolts on the Titans. So many were dying or weak! After many sacrifices to save his fellow gods, there is a huge rumbling. Even Mt. Olympus shakes before the mighty Zeus. The great, and powerful Leader of the Titans was not ready to lose to gods of Olympus. The Cracken! The Cracken had awoken! As it arose, the land of Olympus crumpled before Zeus and his gods. This was going to either be the end of Olympus, or the end of Zeus's brothers reign. With all the will and power held in Zeus, he struck a lighting bolt and with all his might he threw that lighting bolt right into the Crackens mouth, sending the largest ugliest beast falling to the ground and disintegrating into ashes that would forever haunt that part of Olympus. All of a sudden, the kitties were back on the roads of Ancient Greece again.~ What an EPIC BATTLE!!!

The temperature was high 51 & low was 46 this morning, now it's 48 with humidity 62% & wind is 9 MPH NNE. Friday's suppose to be Mostly Sunny☼ & High 48.

Nursing home residents' quality of life can be better from regular visits from pets & it has also been shown Alzheimer's patients have fewer outbursts when there's a dog around.

This is because pets, especially dogs, require exercise which forces us to get up off the couch & get exercise too. There are several different ways you can exercise with your pet, it isn't only limited to walking.
5) They Teach Us New Skills: Believe it or not, pets can be great teachers. The list of lessons they can teach us is endless. Whether your pet shows you how to be responsible or how to make friends, he will prove to be one of the smartest friends you've ever had! Mom gave Carly a Summer hair cut due to her matting today. Mom said good thing she has sweaters & her Snuggie!!! MOL!!!
Mom also took care of neighbor kitty Patch (who looks like Casper Todd) as she de-matted his neck & combed him out.

We gain an hour of sleep this weekend!! Dayllight savings comes to an end at 2:00 a.m. Sunday morning. With the clocks turned back, it will be less dark in the morning but darkness will fall earlier in the evening. Arizona, Hawaii and Puerto Rico stay on standard time all year round.
The concept of daylight-saving time may have first been proposed by Benjamin Franklin in 1784 to the Parisians. The thought was that Americans would appreciate an extra hour of sunlight and conserve energy (candles and oil back then).
Transitions may disrupt chronobiologic rhythms and influence the duration and quality of sleep as the effect lasts for several days after the shift. People who suffer with sleep disorders seem to find the bi-annual transitions more difficult.
