Education: I'm proud of Pepper because, although he'd rather be the only cat, he tolerates most of the others because he is a strong supporter of the "cause" of saving others. Thank u P!
My favorite tricks and treats are: He's very quick. He loves the laser and when he wants u to pay attention to him, he will quiety come up to you and reach out to you with one delicate paw and taps u to let u know he's there. He is a sweetheart! and He loves the Temptation treats. Pepper also enjoys his share of catnip.
Where I hang out: The bay windows and Barbie's bed. I also like to look out the back window for my reflection (a feral black cat that sits on the window sill and stares back in at me.)
My favorite grubs: He loves Dental Diet food. It is his very favorite. He also enjoys wet food.
My pet peeves: Pepper can hear a can open from anywhere in the house. Pepper also likes his privacy.
What I love about my owners: They love me unconditionally and are soldiers for our cause!
My cat hobbies: He loves to lay in the sunlit windows and keeps a watch outside for any activity, esp. birdies. I love to eat Dental Diet!! I reach up to my owners so they can hold me while we look out the front door together.
Pet motto: Take care of your teeth!! Use Dental Diet!! lol

How We Met
We wanted to add a feline to the family and went back to PetsSmart (where Tiger came from) and was hoping to adopt. Lying in the cage was a petite, beautiful black youngster, but we were told he was NOT up for adoption. We asked why, and were told that this was the 3rd time he had been returned, the last time because he jumped on the man's countertops (obviously a rookie owner...HELLO!! That's what cats do! Please educate yourselves before taking on such an important responsibility)- . We were told that the rescue org. was on their way to pick him up. My daughter and I waited almost 4 hrs till she showed up, and we stood there by his side until she arrived. We expressed our interest in him, and after some convincing, she allowed us to adopt him (at a cheaper fee) because she considered him un-adoptable. Well we took him home, and he's still here!! Yeah!! In this case, perserverence paid off!!

Is good to meet another pretty black kitty like me! Good fur your hoomins! We don't think many, if any, cats are unadoptable 'round here--we even took in Taliesin, and he's the ruuuuuudest kitty I effur knew! What a great story you have. We are so happy you got adopted by a loving owner. We jump on everything and you are right...that's what cats do. Unless a cat is really mean {what us, mean?} there should not be a reason one cannot be adopted. You have hero's for owners. Mom said we can get on the computer for a few minutes, it's still rumbling outside. No rain, just very very hot. So we wanted to Welcome you to the Cat Channel. Stop by sometime for a saucer of milk or some catnip tea is good and Tuna Cakes. You would be welcome. We were in kitty glory today, when mom came home from work, she had gone to the store and got us kitties, lots of toys and 2 big size kitty beds. You should have seen us all in the living with all those toys. It was a wonderful time. We are all pretty tired out now and just about ready to jump into thoses nice warm kitty beds.
