How We Met
I owned one cat, but he was very lonely. One day when we went for his check-up at the vet, they said that week they had found a cat at closing time left at their door with a can of tuna. I wanted her very much but my Dad said we already had a cat. He said that if I did my chores for my other cat that just maybe I could take the other cat home. I did my chores and I got the cat the next week as a surprise. I had a smile on my face for about two hours!

It is very windy here... No storming just yet... There are a lot of birds outside the window eating birdseed... I'm going to stay safe out of sight... Mommy on the other hand... Oh, Mystery -- Please Write
I have no record of receiving a reply from you to my player survey that I sent out eleven days ago. It is essential that we get individual, team, and group feedback so that we may proceed properly. This is your chance to voice complaints, suggestions, complacency, or total dislike regarding mouse hockey. Without your reply, we have to guess what you're thinking, and we don't really do that well, I'm afraid. Perhaps someone else from your family responded. That doesn't answer the questions about a different team, so you need to reply, as well. It appears that we have several kitties that have signed on, yet they haven't responded, so we wonder if they still have any interest in the game. But it could be that there is some other reason why they haven't replied, such as they couldn't return the survey by the requested date. Better late than never. We NEED to hear from you. PLEASE! We really, really don't want to replace kitties that might like being in the MHL. We want to keep ALL of our players who wish to continue playing. We understand problems, but we need to know if you are having some kind of problem. We will work with you in nearly all cases. Just tell us, please. President Kiwi is aware that there are some teams that are not functioning as effectively as desired. We are in the process of training or making changes to line-ups where necessary. Kiwi asked me to send this brief survey out to team members, so that we may improve all players' enjoyment of the game. Please help us by sending your replies to ME asap, preferably on Monday. Here are the questions: 1.) Are you enjoying mouse hockey and wish to continue playing? 2.) Are you keeping up with team results and your individual performances? 3.) Hey, girl! Where have you been? You seemed so excited to be playing mouse hockey. Now, it appears that you haven't been on in nearly a month. I do hope that your absence is not due to illness. If you have lost interest, there is no reason to stay on the team. In fact, we have kept you longer than is usual for a non-responsive cat. I will have to cut you from the team if I hear nothing from you by next week. At that time, we will put you on inactive reserves. You can notify us at any time to activate you, and you will then be ready for a new team assignment. BUT, I really hope you are still interested and that you will be in a position to blog your teammates and maybe attend a game. I will cross my paws.
