Dear cc member,
My cat whitiker has been making my family happy for almost 9 years. Ive been preparing for his Birthday on March 22 for weeks, and have finally decided to get him a few packages of his favorite treats, along with build him a collar with all of his achievements stamped onto it. It is coming along nicely, but i believe it would be amazing if my dream for him could come true and he could become the cat of the day on march 22 of 2012. it would be awesome if one of his achievements could be an honorary, earned cat of the day badge. It might just help him to realize just how awesome he really is. I am writing to you today about our Mouse Hockey League. Many of your friends have enjoyed playing this new sport with us this past season. Our players are young and old, male and female, and breeds of all types. If you are a live cat, you are eligible. We are expanding the league size this year and are looking for many new kitties to make up the new teams. All games are simulated by computer, so your physical presence is NOT mandatory at game time. Many cats check the game results later to see how their team fared and to check out their personal performance. If you would like your CC membership to be more exciting and are looking for greater interaction with other kitties, mouse hockey may be your answer. New teams are forming NOW. If you are interested, please visit Scamper's page (#39429) for more information. Since Scamper currently has his hands full with early returns by new recruits, I am helping him, for the time being, by sending out more solicitations and organizing the responses, allowing his efforts to be more efficient. Please reply to ME with your questions or to sign up. If two kitties from your household wish to play, please indicate if they prefer the same team assignment or if they would prefer to compete on separate teams. Thank Goodness, this Halloween thing is only once a year. hey that is great that Naima got a 5th place in a ring. Tell mom not to worry about a scratch....all the judges have gotten them, and even a bite now and again...all us kitties get fed up with human antics...do you go back tomorrow or was it aone day show??? I go to a show next weekend!!!!
I haven't been much of a happy camper kitty as late, but now I'm confused. Mom went to Petco to buy me some food...She came out with this stupid thing. She called it a Halloween Costume. Anywho, I tolerated a picture in the silly thing~~but now I need to get it in the trash bin so I don't have a repeat photo session. I will never understand humans. Great to hear from you!! We have been crazy busy as Mom Cats Mom fell and broke her hip about three weeks ago!!! Oh tis not fun at all...but I get to go to Rehap and visit~~~

The head Angels here said it would be okay for me to write to all of you. I want to thank you for all the prayers, well wishes, love and support you sent to me and my family, mom especially. It meant so much to all of us. Thank you too for voting me COTD. It was such an honor to have all of you do that for me. I feel blessed to have had so many wonderful friends in my life and blessed to have had the wonderful home I had. I know mom is sad and feels guilty for what happened, but I want her to know she did everything she could for me. I was needed some where else and it was my time to go. I’m with my sister Luckie and I have made many new Angel kitty friends. We are all healthy and happy but we will never forget our families and we will always be watching over you. If you think you feel something tickle your face while you are falling asleep, that is one of us giving you an angel kitty kiss good night. When you think of us, don’t be sad, but smile and think of all the good times we had and know one day we will be together again. Well they are calling me to come back and play, so I better go. Well things are getting back to normal, Taz and Zipper are playing but not too hard, we try to slow them down. Taz slept with dad and woke him at 400am with some nose nips and head butts. We let Zip in and they did the feline ballet standing on hind legs pawing and licking each other. OG put the mark on his chair. Dad had a friend over who sat in the chair. OG was in his lap in a heartbeat and stayed til he left. Ole Gray was playing with a fuzzy toy, throwing it up in the air and jumping and rolling around. He scrunched up a 6 foot rug into a ball and fell asleep on top of it with the toy in his mouth. Missy, ah yes Missy. Sleeping or looking at herself in the mirror. Life is good at the kitty rancho til Zip goes for her snip next mmonth.We all send a vote and purrs from the wrecking crewCome visit me, Ole Gray, Zippi, Taz & Missy.

So Quiet here
OG is asleep on the dining room table, Missy is upside down out on the porch table. Zippi is sawing wood on the high cat tree and good ole Taz is asleep on the floor by the back door, so quiet here. Dad was seen fluufing up his kingsize bed and getting on board with a frosty beverage in his grasp while slowly closing the door. It is so quiet here. It's been awhile since I've been on. And I miss you and all my kitty Friends...Nothing really has been going on. The humans Running around telling everyone about the Baby. Me Trying to escape the Love and Cuddles of the result of this..*L* *sigh* The Female Human is Very glad that she doesn't have to clean my litter box anymore... but it's PSHAW! it's an honor!..*L* Aaaah well.. But Yes it is Burnin up here in the Great state of Kentucky. Finally got some rain. Just been so Dry here. But I don't care..I have the best napping spot right in front of the fan..=)

Our dad does it again. He took us to Mistys party and we were having so much fun. He went into the living room ato get something and fell asleep on the couch. He left us all out in cyberspace. We got back at him this morning. When on our 4th lap around the house we used the couch as a runway while he was on it. Gee , he wasnt too happy when he looked at the clock. 245 am. We all watched tv with him and it is raining so hard that our street is flooding. So much for our drought. Zippi had a viral infection and got meds for it. She ate well this morning and even pushed Missy and Taz away from their plates to see what they had. Everything is back to normal.Ole Gray has been hanging around more and more. Yesterday he got into the back yard and spent a couple hours with Missy and Taz. Zippi isnt allowed out until she gets all her shots next week. Taz gets the big snip then too.Dad is going back to trial monday. so this will be the last blog for a while. Summer is Grand! Here I am all focused on the chipmunk family living right outside my window, when mommy brings in the recycle bin. Mommy walks back in the kitchen & I'm staring at the floor, eyes intent on something. Mom comes to investigate, and I have myself a catapillar…..EEEEWWWW. Mommy killed it! I must say, I just watched it. It looked kind of gooey, like I could get my dainty feline paws dirty. Oh yeah Hobbes no a/c yuk poo....but It's OK right now it got cool again. This is New England. We don't get a lot of HOT HOT weather so when it came in in May...wow, I'm like Hey dad...global warming...get hopping, can the furnace....get the a/c in....I'm trying to keep mommy busy and I'm being REALLY sweet so she keeps her mind focused on nice things!! and!!!
I have this Chipmunk family in my side yard...he dashes to the wood pile, and into his hole in the ground...tis sooo awesome...the only issue is that i MUSt watch from the window.....I soo much want to get out there. Mommy said something about letting me watch closer from my stroller...HELLO>>>>i need to be out so I can get me hooks into it.......I must plot, any ideas??? She has curtailed work in the oval office to bask in the limelight. She is still working on getting cat of the millenium. Taz is tearing after Zippi and Zippi is busy scratching dads legs, she thinks he is a tree. RIGHT NO A/C
it's coming though~ we just don't usually have such hot weather this early~ Tis better today~~~
Dad marched in a parade. Mommy didn't bother to go… she slept late…. silly parade was at 8AM…Mommy didn't want to get up at 7:00AM on a holiday! Dad came home feeling really sick….all white and pale. He had been feeling bad for a few days. I was all set for a stroller ride, when dad takes mom up on going to the ER…6 hours later they were home. Dad has some kind of virus but thankfully not to serious. Mom says to me quietly (we don't want to see how he acts when he is REALLY sick)
Mom lost a dear friend Sunday and the calling hours are tomorrow so she's sad… ……I don't think I'll get out much this week, but I'll try to make mommy feel better by snuggling & Purrring to her………Of course a BIG VOTE coming your wayCome visit me, Pawstuctaway Serengeti.

Mom now realizes that it was totally her fault. I was hanging my head all last night after I found the site down. My contact to my pals was gone!! Here I was just mommy and me. I slept last night snuggled up to mommy head…..I knew I was OK when she reached over and said " Nite Little Pokey". I also knew I was in real good stead when mom was talking about getting more CF magazines when they come out, and dad was looking like" How much is this going to cost me". Mom said, "don't even go there, my sweet little Paws is in CF" I did my little Maine Coon chirp…..and jumped up on my kitty tree to watch the birdies!! I may join my good friend Katlyn in the pokey. Mommy had a box of promo pens she just opened. She went out & came back to find the Styrofoam all over the house. It was all over the kitchen, all down the hall, on mommy bed. I was on the bed, with the big giveaway. I had white puffs of Styrofoam all over me. I just looked at mommy, with the 'i'm so cute eyes……I got the ole S-R-E-N-G-E-T-I. I never get Serengeti unless I'm in trouble. I thought to myself…ooops, where is the Lovey Dove name??? I crawled out of bed this morning thinking, another day of rain and gloom. I trotted down the hall, and dashed up onto my kitty tree, prepared to see no birdies, puddles and muck…..Well, I got blinded….I almost fell off my kitty tree….my eyes hurt…….I kept blinking, and blinking, hoping I wasn't going blind. After my eyes adjusted, I saw sunshine!!!!!!! I saw my birdies….Life is grand again!!!! Dad was mad at Zippi. He unloaded us from the bike when we got home and found 4 roll of TP in the bag Zippi was in. We are so sorry, she is a clepto. We are sending the TP back via CPS, (cat Parcel Service) and it is ok if you dont mind some sheds and holes in it. Dad gave us all Cosmic nip today and took a pic of us all together rolling in it. Meow. We all took a 2 hour nap after, including dad. Purrs from the sunshine gang, and a vote. Taz is in heat and meowling all around the house, clip time coming up. Missy and OG are in the back yard hissing at each other. Zippi was found sleeping in a bathroom waste basket and dad is by the cabinet. Nice seeing you at Lolas, hope she doesnt ban Zippi from future parties. Thats all from the kitty rancho. Well finally dad got a good nites sleep with no wake up calls. Zippi was so busy last nite that we all had to find her and see what she was up to. She found the gift wrap papers for christmas and made lovely confetti and colored strips and spread them all over two rooms. It was sorta like christmas here for a while.She has become an expert on tipping waste baskets and spreading it around for everyone to see. Toilet paper, dont even go there. Everything in the house is on top of things she cant get to.Taz is worn out from playing and grooming her and Missy even did a 4 second chase then took a nap. Dad watered the gardens this morning and Missy along with Taz kept running thru the pray. We hope you all have a meowy day. Hobbes, I love the pictures of your new sister, she's so cute! Sara says that Percy had huge ears like that when he was little too, but he grew into them. I'm surprised that you haven't been COTD yet, you're so handsome and friendly! For us it was a total surprise (especially since it all seemed to happen so clost together!), but it seemed to happen around 140 votes- you're very close... Our part-time dog Zoe has almost 250 votes and she's never been dog of the day so it must work differently there.
