Hi, Marmalade!
It was so great to hear from you! Sorry that we didn't get right back to you, but Mommy was on vacation with Grandpap and we're just getting around to visiting our buddies again. No, it's not snowing where we are - we have the same seasons as you - but we're gearing up for winter which is only months away. Brrrr. Your mommy is right - no kitty should be out in the cold snow! Mommy is still trying to teach us to use that goofy cat door, but we're holding out. Brianna is pretty good at the coming up from the family room part and is catching on to the going down to the family room part, but Keelin just refuses to go through the door if Mommy is anywhere in the room to "help" her. Mommy told us that if she needs to keep that door open in the winter, the additional cost of heat is coming out of our treat money! Joke's on Mommy since we don't eat treats and don't have any money! Benny 50347- COTD Cat-Paign December 10 Write up by Tonantzin: Benny, a loving kitten, was seriously injured in an accident that required major surgery. His hip was so shattered, it had to be removed. His one leg is hanging useless and will require physical therapy to help Benny learn to use the leg. Right now he is still in pain from the operation but at home trying to heal and recuperate. He is going to have to go back to the vet today because it is very irritated. He is the kitty cousin of Priscilla Purrsley and the Lansdowne family of cats. Let's all visit Benny 50347 and give him a vote so he could be cat of the day. And don't forget, the lovely and sweet Peanut 17064 for cat of the month, she is the purr-fect candidate. ................... Write Up by Simba: ... Morning, Marmalade!
How are you? Are you helping everyone get ready for the holidays? We've been staying out of trouble so far, but Mommy has done the inside decorating yet - just the outside, and we can't get to that! Mommy left us much earlier than usual this morning...something about horrible weather causing the buses to be slow. We don't know what all the fuss is about. When we got up this morning, we looked out the patio door through the blinds and saw big white buggies floating down from the sky! We got all excited and wanted to go outside to catch them! Mommy just kind of groaned and said "Snow, and lots of it!" We think it's pretty and the animals outside of the patio door are leaving tracks, so that's pretty cool. Next month is gonna be the worst, it's our hottest month of the year, not looking forward to that! MOL... Well mom decided to say home this weekend. We’re going to stay in on Labor Day and avoid the crowds. We are going to have Catnip and Temptations. Nice to hear from you. Mommy said thank you so much for asking. Her leg is still bothering her and she's been going to therapy 3 nights a week without a lot of progress, but sooner or later she's sure she'll be good as new! Today was grooming day - nails, eye winkies, teeth brushing (we HATE that!). Ugh. But guess it's gotta happen. What have you been doing with yourself? We’ve had a quiet day. No fighting just hanging out in the window in the sunshine. We are enjoying our Pet Fountain very much and love drinking the running water from the top. I would like to be a movie star, and be famous with you, we could live in a kitty mansion and have humans wait on us, thats the way it should be, we are both cute enough, we should be in commercials for sure!!!! I am sorry your sister and you were sick, but glad you are both well now and she got another home. Thank You All....
For your prayers and get well thoughts for me. I'm doing good. Mom has this box on the kitchen table that she was using for her clean laundry and it had an old misc sheet and an old sheet type blanket folded up in the box and I got in it and layed down. It felt sooo good that I went to sleep. Mom thought I was cute in it so she took a picture of me in it sleeping and she let me keep it all so now that's my bed on the table. Mom showed dad and told him she's safe in it. Jazpyr was getting in it when I was somewhere else in the house and mom told him "NO" that that was your sister's bed now. It's all mine!! Thanks for coming to my site to see the cattery. Mom and dad got it from their friends. Their kitties died and she didn't want the cattery anymore so she asked mom if we wanted it and mom said yes without hesitation. So one day mom and dad went to their place and they all dismantled it and dad hauled it to our house in his pickup. Almost a year later they all got together and put it together. I have to hurry to write this note and give it to our friends because mom is very upset with Tiger who woke her up fighting with Sylvester. We are inside only kitties and sometimes we get on each others nerves. Well actually it’s Tiger who gets on everybody’s nerves. The rest of us are very content and peaceful. We live right on a very busy Highway called Aurora Ave N, or Hwy 99, and it’s definitely not safe for us to go outside. Mom buys us toys and treats and cracks the windows for us to smell outside to keep us entertained. We’re very content here and never make any attempt to leave. We love our mom very much. We're So Sorry
We don't want to make your mommy or you sad. Mommy wanted all of our purrpals to meet our brother Sonny, that's all. We're so happy that you visited his IMO site. We're sorry about Marshmallow. It's really hard to lose someone you love, but Marshmallow's at the Bridge, too, and we're gonna ask Sonny to find him and give him a kitty kiss special from you. Remembering is a good thing.
