The temperature was high 54 & low was 37 this morning, now it's 52 with humidity 69% & wind is 5 MPH SE. Thursday's suppose to be Rain & High 51.

♥ What a sweet surprise to check my emails this morning to see one from CatChannel.com saying my SWEET PEA 13197 won Cat of the Day! It was exactly two years ago that he received his last one. Thank you for helping him win his 3rd COTD today, 2/27/2013!

♥ A special Thank You goes to Boo Kitty 154855 & Mom Jane for the beautiful Frame for Sweet Pea which I have added in his picture gallery.

♥ Thank you also for the sweet gifts, flowers and such in Sweet Pea's Honor.

♥ Sweet Pea was born in the second litter of fur babies from his fur mama Baby 13286. He is survived by his littermate brother Sylvester 11567 & littermate sister Patch 12767. For some who doesn't realize this; Sweet Pea was a boy not a girl!

The first New Year's celebration dates back to around 2000 BC in Mesopotamia. The Times Square celebration began in 1904, when The New York Times opened its headquarters and hosted a big party, complete with fireworks, on New Year's Eve.

This precious furbaby was just starting to enjoy life when a fire broke out at the family home that took the lives of all the animals on a cold January day. From the cloud of the Angel Sherman…SURPRISE CAMPAIGN FOR ANGEL LOLA #227723! This beautiful girl was picked up at a breeder’s on 5/22/2004 after the pleas of her young owner finally reached the ears of her parents. Lola & her newfound furiend played together all of the time. She got pushed around in a baby carriage, had special princess parade events & birthday celebrations, plus she helped open her young owner’s birthday gifts. She was the purrfect listener & sat very attentively as her mommy talked about any troubles she was having. At the end of 2011, Lola started getting sick & she was called by the angels on the night of October 14. She’s dearly missed by her young mom & we’d like to help honor her life & the joy she brought to this young cat lover by asking all of you to slink quietly by her page today (Friday October 19th) to paw her an ACOTD vote. Sorry Bandit I am late on visiting on your crossing. I guess DBO will be joining you soon so you have to take care of him and make sure that he can still watch his Cardinals. I was so upset the other night that I couldn't eat and that was before Mom read that DBO was so sick - I knew before her even! Save a place there for me for one day I will go there too - but not yet. From the cloud of the NICE Angels…Beautiful Nala #144744 was the first cat to ever grace the home of the ARL Alumni but it would never have happened without the begging of young son Erik & the presence of a cat at his babysitter’s house. Nala #144744 made such an impression on mom that soon the house was filled with purrs of love from other furry furbabies & their lives without felines became a distant memory. As many of you know Nala #144744 became an angel at 12:34pm on August 29th, 2012 but some of you may not know that her beloved master Erik was away at Marine boot camp when it happened. When he called mom to tell her the good news about completing it & heading home, he naturally asked about his special cat. Mom shared the heartbreaking news with him but he doesn’t know that she’d asked us earlier to do something special for him by doing an ACOTD campaign for his beloved kitty when he got here. We’re asking everyone to please run, pounce or fly to paw a vote to ANGEL NALA #144744 on Friday October 5th. It will not only honor her memory but will also honor the service to our country of Erik, one of our newest Marines!

This precious black & white angel was adopted by her furever family after being locked in a tiny basement room with one small window for over 5 years of her life. She was one of the sweetest & most loving cats once she escaped from her ?prison? & she lived out the rest of her days in the lap of luxury with her mom & fursib.
