My favorite tricks and treats are: If the door is closed i will meow and then my mommy will come and i will stretch up to the door knob and try to open it. If i don't, mommy will open it. Now, I can open closets. and My favorite treat is a bit of Moist food and to be pet for a long time.
Where I hang out: On my daddy's lap or outside on a chair.
My favorite grubs: I like turkey
My pet peeves: i hate Bath time and when i have to get my teeth brushed
What I love about my owners: They adopted me to a safe and loving home
My cat hobbies: I like to play with the kids and I like to sit outside on a chair and watch the birds fly by.

How We Met
We went to a pet store, looking at the cats. There was a 3 month cat that was purring like crazy when we would look, or pet her. I always wanted a cat so i told my kids we will adopt this little girl. And from then on she has always been my baby!!

... Mom says I'll be 13 years old on July 2nd, this Thursday. She's ordered all kinds of entertainment and you are invited to attend the celebration. Special indeed is the rarest of flowers in our kitty world and of course her name is Lilly, CC #60241, our COTD candidate for WED., DEC. 17! Her Vet says Lilly is truly lucky to have made it into this world. Four years ago Lilly was born with a cleft palate. Only a very thin piece of skin allowed her to nurse and survive! Being both orange and black, Lilly has both X and Y chromosomes. She is sterile but otherwise quite the happy huntress! When she was but a wee kitten, her entire head was orange and many thought her ugly and best gotten rid of but not so her loving Dad. He knew wee Lilly was special and he loved her and kept her! Of course, they have been inseparable ever since! Sometimes, Lilly will lay on her father’s chest at night to sleep. He says she is the only cat to do that and not take his breath away! Lilly often sits on her Dad’s lap when he is on the computer! When Lilly is not hunting, she does love to eat fish or at least that’s what her siblings Micro, Molly, Misty Blue Eyes and Pumpkin think. Persistence always pays off! Just ask persistent GYPSY #63445! She always knew who her furever Mom would be~ she just had to meow loud enough to convince her Mom! Please give a COTD vote of support on WED., DEC. 10 to persistent 9 year old GYPSY #63445 of Clarksville, PA. Gypsy remembers showing up at her future Mom’s apartment in the late Summer of 2000. Gypsy was not quite sure how she got there. Her Mom and Dad weren't yet married and her Mom’s apartment was very small. Also, she already had 2 kitties, Misty and Blinky and just couldn't possibly take in another. She was quite upset and Gypsy didn't make it easy for her either. Gypsy followed her all around the yard and even crawled up on the roof to scream into the living room and kitchen windows! The other kitties were going crazy. Finally, Gypsy’s persistence paid off. Her future Dad said he would take her to his house out in the country. It was just beautiful and Gypsy was truly happy. Funny thing too, Dad was a dog person & Gypsy’s Mom couldn't believe he took her in. But, the two forged a terrific bond. Then, in 2001, Mom and Dad got married and Mom brought her two kitties to Gypsy’s House! Gypsy’s family was now purrfect! Misty was so tolerant of Gypsy’s antics. Blinky was a scrapper and Gypsy had a blast with her! Both Misty and Blinky are Angels now but Gypsy has two more sisters, Mittens and Minuette and so the saga continues. Minuette is now the trouble maker, Mittens is Mom's baby and GYPSY #63445 is Queen of the Manor. Ahhhh, life is good ... when you are blessed to have found a furever, loving family! GYPSY is not so grumpy now, mellowing with age except when playing a killer game of Mouse Hockey! With a cheery chirp, Shamrock calmly commands the attention of her Irish brothers. She is most attentive to the needs of her ailing brother Kerry, the heart of the Irish clan. Shamrock chirps her grateful appreciation to all the CC kitties for their prayers on Kerry's behalf. She reports Kerry is showing improvement. Shamrock makes sure that Kerry can eat his special food, jumping on a chair & chirping away when her other brothers try to get Kerry's special food. Shamrock & Kerry usually sleep together in the evening but Thursday their Mom noticed Shamrock following Kerry around everywhere, lying down whenever he did. At first it was cute & she took pictures but when it became constant & Kerry was clearly lacking energy, Mom realized Shamrock ALL DAY was trying TO TELL HER SOMETHING. Shamrock kept getting beside Kerry, looking at him & at Mom. Long ago Mom told Shamrock that each kitty has a special job in the Irish Clan & hers was to take care of the Boyos. Shamrock grooms all her brothers and while shy of other people, her huge heart is full of love for her Mom, Dad & brothers! Who is the sweet kitty resting on Dad's chest, rump side up and head hung low? REBA #100217 with the green emerald eyes that sparkle! She is also the computer kitty of her family, who runs to the computer chair first thing in the morning, letting her Mom know it is time to meow all her buddies on CC! Please give a COTD vote of support WED 11/19 for REBA #100217 of Athol, ID! In Oct. 2006, Reba got sick. The vet was giving her fluids and running lots of tests. He told her Mom Reba had cancer and it was time to let her go. Reba's Mom couldn't just do that so she took her home. Reba got better the following week and no cancer was ever found. Needless to say, 13 year old REBA has a different vet now! REBA is so sweet & considerate of her brother Garth, she eats anything put in his bowl lest he get chunky! PLEASE VOTE TUESDAY! It was a time of great changes and upheaval. Ito, his brother Bootsie, and their Mom were leaving their home and moving in with the San Dimas Petting Zoo. It was a difficult change for Ito. At first it seemed he would have to be given up and a new home found for him. But his new Mom at the S.D.P. Zoo noticed how much he loved his brother Bootsie, and she knew she couldn't separate them. One day she realized that Ito had become a much loved family member and had found his furever home in the Zoo! Ito will celebrate his 4th birthday on Saturday November 23rd. Some very mean person threw Tippy and his siblings into a storm drain when they were about 3 weeks old. Only Tippy survived. He ended up at the Hope Center and was adopted with another kitten. Having two kittens was just too much for his new family, and every time Bev and Loopy's mom would come over to visit, Tippy would curl himself around her ankles. She said sure, Tippy can move in with us instead of going back to the shelter. Tippy mostly hides from Bev and Loopy but he is getting acclimated to his new furrever home with his new fabulous Fresno family!
