Hi Levi & Family ♥
I have some good news to share....My fever was down on Friday, so I didn't have to have another shot and I also finished one of my meds and I’m now down to 4 meds (3 pills and 1 liquid)!!

I was a very good girl for Mom all week long, as she drove me to and from the vet and I didn’t even serenade her very much, either. She said she thinks I do much better with just her driving me. Well, the truth is that it is not a lot of fun to serenade when half my audience is still at home.

And, guess what else???? The vet offered to meet my parents at his office this past weekend to examine me and to give me my meds, but Mom told him they would try it and if I was a “problem patient” again, then they would call him. I was a very good girl both Saturday and yesterday, and they gave me my meds in record time….I do love to confuse them and they were so happy with me that they gave me a treat of some tuna juice, after I took my meds.

We are all very grateful for your concern, support, friendship and prayers for me and we thank you more than we can ever say.

Here is our recipe for today. Keep in mind, if you miss a recipe they will always be posted on the CMR page and also on my page!

SARDINE HEAVEN

1 can sardines in oil

2/3 cup of rice (cooked)

Liver

Parsley and/or turmeric

Add all ingredients together. You may wish to cook the ingredients, depending on whether your cats like fresh meat or cooked meat. Store unused portion in fridge.

Is it shiny and red? Have you heard about a reindeer named Rudolph? Before bedtime, Mom read to us the story about Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer. He was a different sort of reindeer and the other reindeer laughed at him and even called him names. In fact because he's different they wouldn't even invite him to play in their games! How sad poor Rudolph must have felt. But Santa came to his rescue and made him feel better about himself - he allowed Rudolph's red nose to light the way guiding Santa's sleigh! Sorry it has taken me so long to get back with you-I blame it all on mom! Not much going on around here,'cept a 'stray' or lost cat is hanging around the house....probably where Smudge got his leg bite from. The cat is a real pretty(according to mom)peach and white long-haired Persian looking kitty. She even FED it tonight! Oh boy,seven of us is enough here! Mom says,(women's logic here)that she has to feed it to get it to trust her,so she can get it out from under the house so she can find it's owner! Does that make sense to you? It kinda don't to me,but I think dad bought it! Hope you-all are staying warm and cozy tonight! Purrs,Bart

Thank you so much for coming by with and for your prayers for my dad! Turns out he did not pull a muscle after all. He has pneumonia! Mom insisted he go to the E.R. Thursday,so he has some meds,and we hope he gets better soon!

Hi Levi,
Hello everyone,this is Bartholomew for the Peach State Cats. We just wanted to let everyone know how we are doing here,mom and dad included. It has been almost a month since we had to say good-bye due to mom's health,and we have missed you-all so much. The good news is,mom is doing a lot better on some new meds,but dad is now having health issues that need attention. He has been diagnosed with Post Traumatic Stress Syndrome. Mom said it explained a whole lot of his erratic behavior that was putting such stress on their marriage,and possibly his aggression towards her being on CC,another reason why we had to leave. Dad has just started treatment,so mom feels it is just too soon to try and talk to him about CC. Hopefully that day will come soon,and we can return to all our friends,as this helps mom cope with all of lifes diffaculties. She does log on every morning to leave quick votes for COTD and COTM,as she can do this without dad knowing,and checks the Mews Room page. Please know that we think of each and every one of you,miss you terribly,and keep all the sick in our prayers,and especially the ones who have lost their beloved furbabies. All of us kitties are doing well and are healthy and happy. Meanie had a close call the other with a neighbors dog. It came in our yard and chased her up a tree. Dad went and talked to them,and they said they would confine their dogs. Dad WILL shoot them if they come back! Other than that,all has been quite here.
Again,we love you-all and miss you and hope to return soon! Love and kitty kisses from all of us! Bartholomew

Hi Levi and Family,
I have asked Mom to try to blog my friends to let them know that Grandma is doing well. Her surgery went great, thank you so much for your prayers. Mom will be with Grandma at least a week more and I am missing her soooo very much and she misses me as well. She has managed to get a few videos posted of me. I now have 23 videos posted so ask your Mom to just do a search under Wolfie and it will pull all 23 of them up. Mom and I would love it if you left a comment on the ones you view. The DSL connection at Grandmas has been mostly out and the repair guy came out and all but it keeps going out, so I told Mom to just do a c/p to my friends so they would hear from us, that they will understand. Mom will be home for only two weeks when she and Dad will be going on a cruise. She has asked her friend Ms. Brenda to keep me for her since she does not trust Grandpa. He showed his rump on our vacation and told the kids that a cat is only good for slinging against a wall or fence and that he used to enjoy doing that when he was young. Dad refuses to talk to Grandpa since then either. Even though Mom keeps telling him he is wrong to lower himself to the same level and that he will regret not talking to his Dad once he is gone. Mom did bring me to Grandmas with her last Saturday night (the 29th) and brought me home on Sunday. I hated it there! Grandma has three girl cats and they are MEAN. I stayed in Moms bedroom and refused to come out!! It was good to be with Mom though. Mom says it breaks her heart the way I look at her when she drops by to visit for a few minutes. I can not wait for her to be home!! I sure hope all is well at your home and you are enjoying life. Grandmas friend's daughter was in a bad wreck on Thursday and they don't expect her to live much longer, she is 16, please pray for a miracle and that Teresa will pull through. Thank you. of three. Imagine their surprise when they learned there were actually five
babies in the litter and they were adopting three, Wendy, her sister
Priscilla and brother Elvis! Wendy doesn’t get to play with toys much
because her brother hogs them all but she has been know to steal an
unsupervised sock when she can. She loves hanging out with a collection of

death by her future pawents. She is still a bit scared, especially of loud
guests, the doorbell and her mom’s hyper dog. Her habit of sticking a paw in

King Wolfgang Vladimir LePew’s reign has come to an end. It has been a short reign but one that he is vastly proud of. Many royal duties at his home castle pertaining to illness within the royal realm has kept his loyal servant Mom Linda from her royal blogging duties this past month. King Wolfie sincerely hopes that his royal subjects understand and forgive his quite reign. Please remember that he thanks each and every member of his royal kingdom for their loyal support and the great honor they bestowed upon him. Not one day during July went by that King Wolfie did not think of you. King Wolfie thanks you from the bottom of his heart.

Tomorrow Grandma is having open heart surgery so PLEASE keep her in your prayers. This coming month may be a quite one as well, but we will blog as we can.

I have new videos up, just do a search under Wolfie and be sure to go to the second page as the one of me as King is at the BOTTOM of the second page. Also, when I visited SpongeBob week before last I did a video of just him and got it posted. Just do a search under Spongebob to pull it up. I also have new pictures at the bottom of my page. Mom submitted a few of my photo shoot pictures to the local Humane Society in hopes that I will win one of the twelve pin up spots on the 2010 calendar, so keep your paws crossed for me. Even if I don't win, I still have my photos as a thumbprint somewhere in the calendar.

Always remember that I am thinking of you and keeping all my friends and their families in my prayers each day. Mom and I are trying to touch base with everyone.

He had a shot, got meds for an ear infection & set up an appt for a dental July 30th..JAZPYR 10428 is doing ok. He is still wobbly and falls over- Mom and dad has to watch him so he doesn't try to climb til he is able to..SUEZEE #11531.. L back paw swollen & leg hurts..THOMAS. .#127574..Human brother sick...CASPER TODD #6451..had 5th skin treatment Tues. Doc said skin looks 100% better & was pleased with new hair growth.- this was last treatment! - will be really tired & sleepy for several days, but hopefully worst is behind now..YIN #146399 -Come and welcome Creature & Taz's new sibling to CC...REMUS #116575..It was a frog!. I slammed my paw down on it really hard & made it jump really high in the air, then it hopped off porch & into bushes. I jumped off porch after it. Mom was chasing me in dark & I was chasing the frog. And then I made the dumbest move ever. I bit it. Yep. I ran back in the house like my tail was on fire. Mom ran in after me & when she caught up to me, I had foam running out of my mouth & I was spitting. Mom grabbed a syringe and filled it with water and washed my mouth out. BTW.. frogs are NASTY!!!!!!!!!..SHASTA'S MOM UPDATE..#25419.. Mom is having trouble with both hands, her L thumb has tendonitis, her L 2ND finger might be another trigger finger ( go back to doc in Aug), her R ring finger still swollen and sore, & there is a lot of scar tissue in both on her forearms & hands. hand trouble is from over use .Otherwise, L thumb will swell & she can’t move it next day. hope she doesn't need surgery on her L second finger or her Lt elbow. It has a "knot" on it. Mom has 1½ weeks of therapy left. She still limps when she walks - her muscles should start getting strength in a wk or two..MAINE GANG UPDATE..MURPHY #27506 seems fine since seizure last wk. Tonight DUSTY #28405 is recovering from dental surgery & extractions. He had oral biopies to check him for chronic somatitis. A very expensive Vet visit but worth it. So far no new cancer tumors on TAFFIE #27315. Every night I check her for lumps. Grateful she is well!- MEISHA #35976 & MITZY #34211- over their staph ear infections now ..TUXIE # 41929.poor prognosis with jaw tumor..INKY'S PAWRENTS #28086..JULY 22ND..ANNIVERSARY .. ..COTD VOTE FOR JAMIE #108357 TUES JULY 21ST.... Going up to 72F with chance of thunderstorms..Luckily I could get out and roll in the grass yesterday and watch 2 squirrels climb a tree chasing each other.. I chattered at the birds too..Didn't see Chip....GOOD EYE ! ..In the daytime, cats don't see objects as clearly as we do, but they see much better as night approaches..On the other hand, their superior depth perception and ability to see edges allows them to make long- distance leaps that we could never hope to achieve...PRAYERS FOR..SNOWFLAKE'S PAPA.#10546... is still in intensive care with very little change. He's getting the best care possible. The drs say we just must wait..An interesting note: SNOWFLAKE'S MAMA was one of the engineers on the APOLLO PROGRAM...CHAMPARONEE'S MOM ..#121020.. is on the road to recovery from wrist and knee surgery...COKE #4765 is home, SHE LOST A COUPLE TEETH (The goofy VET took pics of her mouth!!) She is doing well,; She conned Dad into giving her a plate of fried chicken; from her antics tonite.. I believe she is no worse for wear & will recover very quickly...BOMBAY #30365..Done with my pills now and feel much better..JAZPYR #10428 saw Dr. Mindy Mon cuz of his bad fall on Sun am- probably has a concussion. Mom and dad are supposed to keep watch on him and he also is to take an anti-inflammatory, Prenesolone. No head xrays needed...PATCH #12767 will be going back outside on Tues which will make her very happy.. She is feeling frisky and good...RHOAMIN'S MOM'S #2921.. dear friend had passed away Mon as she's been fighting Cancer for the last several yrs & she was only about 57yrs...MAGGIE'S MOM..#2546..knee surgery update... Her knee and leg down to her ankle keeps swelling and the dr got her in for an ultra sound and it was negative which was good..DR SPIKERTON FINCH'S AUNT #26683...I have been in NY taking care of my Aunt. She wasn't feeling well and was driving Lil and Maggie crazy. Hopefully, I have taken care of her prob & she will be fine... Mika’s (pronounced Meeka) future meowmy was looking for a pet, saw her and just had to have her! This beautiful 11 year old happily settled into her new home, though she is known to be crabby from time to time. Her Highness Ms. Murphy was born on her future dad’s birthday. He brought her future mom to meet her before the official adoption and ended up adopting her sister, Raven, as well. Ms. Murphy leaps really high and can run very fast and has also learned how to open lever type doors and turn the lights on and off. HOPE ALL OF YOUR DADS HAD A HAPPY DAD'S DAY SUN..It is going to feel like 84F today with sun..Dad caught a whitefish and 3 perch...PRAYERS FOR...SPIRIT # 43248 & SIBLINGS .. their GRANDMA passed away..JUNE 20TH ... VELVET #10732. may have Urinery Tract Infection -.GYPSY #114577..sad update on our precious Gypsy. The vet told Lynn she could try to cont giving her water, but feels her time is very near, perhaps just a day or two, and there is nothing more he can do for her..
Lynn will spend every minute of today, holding her and loving her,. Let us pray that God takes Gypsy gently and places His comforting arm around Lynn. They both need all of us to be very strong, and to help them through this by just being there. . DARLING GIRL..#126359..one of her back hind legs stopped working Fri night..So, please keep Darling in your prayers that this is just a broken leg which can be set, and not something more insidious like a neurological problem or kidney disease which can sometimes cause neurologic problems or something else which would be more serious.Darling will be 11 this Dec..KITTY TIGGER # 31283..she drank the whole bowl after it sat there & warmed up.- am giving her anything she will eat. She ate about 3 - 4 bites of scrambled eggs so she is trying fight. -on Clavimox twice a day.. But she is still holding on -breathing very heavy..GIN GIN'S DAD # 12433..Dad is stronger today, and he says he feels better! And Mom? - hanging in there. Dad said I was going to have my picture taken I went to a special vet hospital, - they shaved my belly & below, put me on my back, and took pics of my insides. I was SO embarassed, but it didn't hurt. Now the report my reg vet, and we will wait for a call with results. Mom called shelter to tell them why she and my Dad haven't been there. Belle, who was one of Dad's special projects (he was the first to be able to pet her, as she was so scared and shy) was adopted after 2 years in the Shelter! Also a boomerang kitty, 4-year-old Peyton, & Bobby, a sleek black cutie. Bastet was brought back (after being adopted for 2 wks), with severe bladder infection. The staff he will get well. Mom's watching Dad closely and hoping Dad will cont to improve, while she waits anxiously for my test results ..MISS FLUFFY'S DAD #74942...Dad has to get his leg amputated. We are not sure when they are going to do it as of yet. But they are hoping they will at least put him in the hospital today or tomorrow since he is in really bad pain...REBA #100217 IS OUR WINNER!!!. Happy Father's Day!
Thank you so very much for helping to vote me COTD today! I've been a very lucky guy so far in life. I've got a Dad who, rescued me, takes care of me & loves me dearly. Today we both woke up snuggling, wondering if I was going to get that badge. When we first logged in and saw I had, Dad opened a few cans of tuna to celebrate with with me, and all the Windy Pointers, Inside & Outside.

To make things even better; I have all of you folks here on CC who have shown your love and support of me and Dad enough to make this Father's Day one to remember for a long time. I want to dedicate today's COTD badge, not only to MY Dad, but to to ALL of the Dad's here on CC who have taken their time, efforts and resources to rescue, treat, and most of all, love their furry families. May your kindnesses be rewarded in this life and the next.

Greycee’s mom cat only went to the vet’s office to pick up some Revolution. Little did she know this beautiful little kitten was there waiting to be adopted. It was love at first sight for both of them and now Greycee not only has a new home, but she has three other siblings Mitt, Minuette and Gypsy. She loves playing until she drops, she can even turn her Maniaac Mouse Toy on by herself, and talking. Her favorite foods are Kitten Chow and Friskies Party Mix, she even tries to eat her sister’s food as well as her own. You can find her hanging out on the couch, cat tree or the kitchen chairs. ...It is going to be a scorcher next week..IN 90'S...Just to let you all know ..I AM NOT DISAPPEARING UNTIL SEPT..I JUST WONT BE ABLE TO BLOG THE OVER 150 CATS AS USUAL..IF YOU BLOG ME EVERY DAY I SHOULD GET AROUND TO YOU IF I AM ONLINE THAT DAY OR LOOK FOR MY BLOG IN MEWSRM #46883..AS BEFORE, MOST WEEKENDS I AM OFFLINE ANYWAYS..except for voting...SAD MEWS- TAFFIE #.27315..has MAMMARY CANCER.. Vet feels caught it early- no spread to local lymph tissue. Can re-occur at any time-.Very aggressive type of cancer. We found it and surgically removed it 3 days later. No spread to lungs and her labs are good. Need to watch her closely and do skin checks daily to her abd. Radiation/chemo not option- only surg interventions..PRAYERS URGENTLY NEEDED..
Poor little Gypsy #114577 is on the way to the vet; she is very weak and cannot hold up her little head..GIN GIN'S DAD. #12433..Dad seems bit stronger He's a survivor, with a strong spirit! Mom, looks like she's having a meltdown. I think she's just tired..Mom takes me for an ultrasound on my abdomen today for my "problem..ROSWELL'S MOM..#112708...Mom is feeling much better and thinks the visit to the eye dr today will go well...LITTLE BIT'S MOM #82473...Mom went to see dr Tues..Had MRI of her spine Wed. He wanted to make sure - no new Lesions . Mom still has not got her new shots yet. Dr gave her steroids..MOM CAROL of the RAINBOW BRIDGE KITTIES. # 42912..wants everyone to know that she is taking some time for a little rest and will be back on CC soon. She is okay, but doesn't want anyone to worry if they don't hear from the Angels for a little while. Angel Duckie and the Crew of the Scoop will be making sure the Scoop gets out each week and the Angel COTD campaigns will continue as usual.. Meanwhile Max #93751 & Pouncer,.Their Mom is looking for new computer..- are panicking thinking everyone will think they are ignoring them.. MOCHA #125505..getting ready for a cat show this weekend..JAWS.& NITTANY# 26353...first long car ride..leave to the mountains on vacation-. They'll let us know how trip went.. HAVE A GREAT SUMMER FROM NAPPY
..It is going up to 70F and overcast..We welcome the first day of summer on Sun..My brothers are into exams now & finish school next Wed. We start our holidays next week..I wont be sending mews to everyone as much as before since I wont have as much computer time.. You can check mewsrm at # 46883 for my blog..(may not be everyday)...I will try my best to get around to see everyone during the week..Thanks for a great year !..Will be back to regular blogs in Sept..Please post any concerns at mewsrm..#46883...THE NEED FOR SHADE...By now everyone is aware that overexposure to the sun causes serious skin probs, & cats are no exception..Sunburn, most common among white cats with blue eyes, shows on eyelids & ears & around nose & mouth..The midday hrs have the strongest sun, but even late afternoon on a sunny day can be a dangerous time for a white cat to be outdoors...GIN GIN'S DAD # 12433.. IS HOME FROM HOSPITAL NOW!!..Her Mom is bone tired -Dad is very weak and shaky..TAFFIE UPDATE #27315.. It's been a week today- all her surgical sites are healing -stitches come out next wk. - still do not have path report back..SHASTA'S MOM #25419..went to the drs yest- He said her hip looks the same as it did in the x-rays from Mar 10! So that's good. She still has some pain if her leg is turned to the inside. Her R hand is okay. Her ring finger is still hurting her when she bends it & the doc is not too happy that the tendon sheath is still big on the back of her wrist. Her L thumb still hasn't gotten any better either, it's still swollen and sore, like a sprain, & been that way since before she had hand surgery in May.- Going to go to therapy - she can drive now...JASPER'S HUMAN BROTHER #18975-ankle surgery today. He broke his ankle about 3 wks ago & has been in a cast & on crutches but it's not healing very well. The doc decided to put some pins in to hold it together. Mom is going to drive him to the hospital tomorrow & bring him back to his house when it's done. He's pretty nervous, plus he has not able to work since he broke it. Now it looks like at least 6 more wks until he can go back. He does construction work and since he's young, - 20 - he has no money...BAILEY BOO'S NANA # 64021.. ~ She has been diagnosed with Bi-Polar disorder and is beginning treatment this week...CASPER TODD # 6451..He is feeling better ‘cause I even play a little bit now. - eyes are brighter & more full of life.- am staying awake & walking around more too. I still love to sleep in my laundry basket of warm clothes on the kitchen island though. I go Tues for my 3rd skin treatment...GINGER #54411...HER MOM / DAD'S SON is getting married SAT.JUNE 20TH..CONT TO PRAY FOR OTHERS ON PREVIOUS LISTS... ...It is 66F with rain & thunderstorms soon..Skies are getting dark..I will be hiding under the bed...PRAYERS FOR:-..GIN GIN'S DAD #12433.. Her Dad had a setback. He was told at 6:30am Jun 16 he could go home, but at 7:30 am he had a huge Atrial Fibrilation attack. It will take the day to get him stabilized again and rested from that, but we're aiming to do that and get him home soon..DUMBO'S DAD #3463..survived lithotripsy, now he has to monitor his - - uh -- yeah, you got it, that - for about 2 wks, if its good, he sees the doc to schedule the next one; !!! after the kidneys - who knows???? doc says he needs a hernia repair. His Mom only feels eh - 85% tops..BUG'S MOM #68921..they weren't on CC for a while because Mom got sick, and then she had to have surgery.. ROSWELL'S MOM'S.. #112708.. Mom's eye is getting better but she can't be on computer or read very much... Her eye gets itchy, blurry and sore. -Goes to dr again in few days..JASMINE'S MOM #68671...Mom is hanging in there. Her thyoid is on the board of normal but she is still tired. She is trying to talk her Dr into increasing her med so the TSH will drop to the middle and increase her energy....MAGGIE'S MOM .#2546...She got her last blood test June 16 . it will either confirm or rule out Lime which my Mom has had many yrs ago. Hopefully it is just the flu. She feels alot better...GYPSY #114577..felt bad yest.she ate a little & drank water,- sitting at door wanting out , ears have been bothering her so mom put ointment on ,maybe later I will have more energy..SNOWFLAKE'S PAPA..#10546..Papa will be at nursing home for at least another month. It is taking a long time for rehab. He said he's doing more walking with his walker.. KING SYLVESTER..#63773..Still has INTERNET BLUES.- replaced a wire and said they were all set but still have very spotty coverage. Mom is very upset - miss all our friends & we hope you will be patient with us. - will blog as soon as they can...DIXON #f138657..Feral kittens his mom rescued, were named the Georgia D's . Dora and Dillie were adopted together,& Dillion was adopted by a couple who live 2 doors down .They all have great homes ..That left the little 'runt'..Dixon.. ~TUES JUNE 16TH MEWS PRAYERS UPDATES FROM NAPPY~

You can't force it to come to you and you can't force it to stay with you. --Pierre Foglia"...TABITHA'S MOM..#29045..antibiotics working & feeling much better...TABITHA #29045 HAS BEEN FOUND SAFE...DUMBO"S DAD..# 3463...he is better than last wk, His MOM was really sick with G I bug -Today is his DAD"S procedure -LITHOTRIPSY the first one anyway, on his kidneys...MAGGIE'S MOM #2546...saw surgeon Mon night & her M.D. is going to call her with bld results..she hopes it isn't lyme disease- will talk to Dr then & Dr may want to see her again. This is so strange all she wants to do is throw up but nothing comes and her head is so foggy ..WOLFIE'S GRANDMA #59175...angiogram went well, She is looking at having a valve replacement in her heart, this will be done probably the first wk of Aug ..GIN GIN'S DAD #12433..Dad looked better (Mom says) and still has no more bleeding, His BP keeps going sky high, despite the med, She got him up, they walked up and down the halls several times. The first time in 8 days! - GIN GIN"S condition is still there. The latest X-rays and tests were normal, and my vet is sending me for an ultra sound ..TUXIE #41929....TAFFIE.. #27315. Doing well =awaits path reports.. QUINCY'S GRANDPA..#28159...back in the hospital since Sat night. - needs a new defibrillator but right now the drs need him to get stronger. His BP is very low so they have to wait till he can safely have the surgery. He's 83 years old. .. #28159...CASPER TODD..#6451..last night I started scratching. had to wear little black booties for awhile which really made me mad & stressed. get more stressed at night because Mom keeps our bedroom door closed and I feel trapped. - try leaving the door open tonight..MISS FLUFFY'S DAD.. #74942..conference with his other drs to see what else they can do for him without doing amputation..But he told Mom it really didn't look too good..She is really upset..He told her that he didn't think the bypass in his leg would help much...QUEENIE.# 31333 -she managed to unzip carrier at rest stop & escaped out of the car and took off.. Please keep Queenie in your prayers to be safe & to find her another furever home. She used to be on CC. Still has her page but non-active for 2 yrs.. SAMSON'S MOM #37802.Mom is doing better- is one wk since surgery - she says she feels a bit better each day. She still is not allowed to pick us up or do things like run the vacuum but she is getting around easier .. KING SYLVESTER # 63773....having internet issues?..
