It's been quite a while.
A lot of things have happened since..one of them being Naruto..He's fine but just not with us anymore.
Mama and the rest of the family didn't see him happy being in our small apt and couldn't cope with his behavior anymore so hopefully he will get a better new home..

Hope You Had A Happy January First!!!!
Well, this proves it….. I do believe my mom has actually FLIPPED HER LID! Sebastian and I TRIED to stop her, but she wouldn’t listen to US. See, she left the house WITH HER PJ's ON!!!! She said she was going out for BREAKFAST. Hmmph.... Now why would you go out in public in your PJ's? Especially POODLE PJ's with Maltese doggie slippers?! MOL....What WAS she thinking? Reflections.....
With each New Year we sit back and reflect on the experiences of the year gone by, the good, the bad, and the ugly. It is through these reflections that we can make improvements and grow in our walk through life. We joined the CC community on January 20, 2007, and in that time we have met many wonderful new friends. We want to take a moment to say that we truly value the friendships we have formed. In 2007 Mom started back to school to work towards her Master’s. This coming year will take us to places unknown. In April 2008, if all goes well, we find out where Mom will be doing her Fieldwork Level 2. We could possibly be staying here in town, or we may be moving someplace new for 3-6 months. Through all of the uncertainty, we know that with faith and each other, we can make it through. With Best Wishes for 2008, Cleo, Spaz, and Mom

Hi Midnyght miss ya
Mom could not blog much for past 5 days. She was working hard and spent extra hours traveling in bad weather. We had an additional 9+ inches of snow yesterday with a icy topping. It looks pretty with the wind with the snow drifts! It's terrible when you have to travel in it! Take care, The Maine Gang.. All is well with Willow! She has adjusted very well to her new home. Her new owner is a senior. I am pretty sure she doesn't use a computer. SO I can't decide whether to keep her web page or not. 50% want me to leave it on CC, and the other half are ok with her page being deleted.. >^..^< Maybe that should be next poll question on CC!

Happy Thanksgiving!!
Duffus here, Baby Boo gave me a few minutes break from the kitchen to blog to our friends. We are all going to have lots to eat if anyone would like to stop by. I made a lemon cream cheese pie, sprinkled with catnip. Mmmmm Yummy!!! I can hardly keep my paws out of it. And Baby Boo said I can't have any until after dinner tomorrow. Ahgggggg!!! Guess I'm going to have to sneak in when she has her nap. hehe. Well, I can hear Baby Boo meowing at me to get back in the kitchen. My Feeder
My Feeder
Yippie, Dad got my birdie feeder up last Saturday. I paws have been busy going from feeder to feeder putting flyer around to tell all the birds that I have a bigger, better, healthier selection of seeds than my neighbors. So far I have seen just one chickadee but with my hard work working the neighborhood, I expect to have more birds than I can feed at my outdoor birdie café. I will keep track of each birdie for spring feeding………I mean, hummm, what do I mean…heck they sure look yummie tastie~~Well, I must go paint more signs…….Purrs~ and a Tuesday vote~ Paws

MARSHMELLOWS' KITTY FAMILY THANKSGIVING DINNER
Appetizers:
• Fresh caught lizard tails sautéed in butter served with freshly ground catnip.
• Pate of turkey giblets gently roasted in broth then pressed and capped with jellied mice truffles.
Tuna Sorbet
Salad:
• Fresh cut catnip herbs with tuna juice dressing.
Tuna Sorbet
Entrée:
• Carved turkey in its own juice, marinated in kitty spices served with poached mouse stuffing, and butter cream mashed potatoes with extra cream.
Dessert:
• Baked Alaskan Mouse topped with freshly whipped cream.

Followed by a long after dinner nap, with kitty dreams of chasing bunnies through fields of wild herbs.

Twas the Night of Thanksgiving:: Joke submitted by: Anonymous:: Twas the night of Thanksgiving, but I just couldn't sleep I tried counting backwards, I tried counting sheep. The leftovers beckoned -- the dark meat and white, but I fought the temptation with all of my might. Tossing and turning with anticipation, the thought of a snack became infatuation. So, I raced to the kitchen, flung open the door and gazed at the fridge, full of goodies galore. I gobbled up turkey and buttered potatoes, pickles and carrots, beans and tomatoes. I felt myself swelling so plump and so round, till all of a sudden, I rose off the ground. Rhoamin here! It's been a long time but I know we've all met before. I hope you're doing good. *** Friday was a quiet day for us inside kits as we all slept alot. It was cold and the wind was blowing hard again. Mom was going to rake the leaves but with the wind she said that she would look pretty silly out there and accomplish nothing. Dad's not feeling good as he has a cold. Mom made him home made chicken soup and dad said it was good. it has been a while ... hope everyone is doing ok. Things have been pretty busy around home. We had company from out of town! My parents took me to visit relatives ... He's a very nice kitty who really wants to be COTD, so please go visit him and leave him a vote if ya don't mind, thanks. Here's our joke of the day: There was a young couple who lived in a town filled with crime. After three of their neighbors' houses had been robbed, the couple decided to get a guard dog. So the young wife went to the pet store and said, I need a good guard dog. The clerk replied, Sorry, we're all sold out. All we have left is this little Scottie dog. But, he does know karate. The wife didn't believe the clerk, so he said to the dog, Karate that chair. The dog went up to the chair and broke it into pieces. Then he said to the dog, Karate that table. The dog went up to the table and broke it in half. So the wife bought the dog and took it home to her husband who was expecting a big guard dog. The husband was of course disappointed and somewhat skeptical about the Scottie dog's abilities as a guard dog. When she told her husband that the dog knew karate, he said, "Karate my foot!" Angel is settled in here. I am working extra to save for the last 4 teeth in her mouth to be removed. Sadly she didn't get much vet care before I adopted her.
