Happy Thanksgiving!!
Duffus here, Baby Boo gave me a few minutes break from the kitchen to blog to our friends. We are all going to have lots to eat if anyone would like to stop by. I made a lemon cream cheese pie, sprinkled with catnip. Mmmmm Yummy!!! I can hardly keep my paws out of it. And Baby Boo said I can't have any until after dinner tomorrow. Ahgggggg!!! Guess I'm going to have to sneak in when she has her nap. hehe. Well, I can hear Baby Boo meowing at me to get back in the kitchen. Hi Sweet Bella! Don't get wet?? How to not on a day like this? BTW, besides our Sasha, Claudia is still also seeking a home. She's been at my Uncle's house for so long and he can't understand why no one wants her. She is so sweet and so beautiful! Just out of curiousity, what do you get for an E Mau pet quality kitten? Mommy has always wanted an exotic cat, but we just can't afford to pay that kind of money, especially when so many non-purebred kitties need good homes. Kitties like Sasha! Hi Little Bella! The anonymous blogger was accusing everyone on here of cheating on the COTD and COTM voting. I don't know how they thought we were cheating, but they were very nasty and we all were very angry about the blogs. And they didn't have the decency to sign their names! Hey, Egyptian Mau babies! When can we see pictures? On the home front, Mommy and Daddy have a foster kitty here. She is a clone of my sister KC, only she is older and much smaller. Her page is #43615. Well, yesterday was human brother's birthday and mommy came home from work with a big cake. She didn't even give us any. How rude! Anyway, human bro (Lee) wanted to go the movies and out to eat. So, off they went and didn't even include us kitties. That to is rude. And besides being rude, they got home really late. To late to even get on the computer to do any blogging. That in itself is just down right rude. MEOW!!!!!!! Well all is forgiven when Lee came downstairs this morning and gave each of us kitty scratches and pets. Man, you got to love those humans. Everything is going great! Mom changed our diet because our vet said some of us are too fat. Can you believe it? I’m not fat, but I have to go on a diet anyway because of some of my housemates (yuck). It’s OK the new food is very tasty and so far mom has not instituted portion control. I wish some of the others would run it off like I do, but I think they are just too lazy. I love to run fast every day and I love chasing the RED dot!!! =^.^= Chloe

Hi Bella! Yes, all of us Midland Kitties are all right, but we are lucky. Our friend Debbie lost her kitty Patch #20782 to kidney failure yesterday. Also gone over the Bridge on Saturday were Blackie #38077 (kidney failure) and Manie #32754 (cancer, among other ailments). It is very hard to lose a friend, and on Saturday we lost three friends. Please join us in praying for their families to heal from their grief. We know that Patch, Blackie and Manie are now in the arms of the Angel Kitty Gang where they are once again warm and healthy and safe. Purrs, little Bella, and a vote, Jesse

Saturday Blues
Grammy fell and broke her hip. Surgey at 8AM sat. Somehow dad managed to loced the keys in the house. Mom had to climb in a window to unlock the door. Good thing one was unlocked. On the way back to the hospital they got rear ended by a hot shot kid who thought it was OK to hit them as he got scared by a spider in the car. Police gave him a citation and mommy doesn't feel like playing~ Dropping a vote on way to comfort mommy~

Hey everyone, Duffus here. I'm coping and pasting, we are so behind in blogs. It all started Tuesday night. Poor mommy, still had a bad headache, and she had taken her meds. (Which makes her sleepy). When human brother (Lee)'s school called. They were taking him to the emergency vet. He had a very bad stomach ache. Mommy was very worried and upset. Tiger Man thinks maybe one of his spiders had gotten into human bro's luggage when he was down here and human brother probably eat him. Anyway, the vet called mommy around 10 that night and said it was his appendix (whatever that is) and will have to have surgery the next morning. Probably to take out the spiders furry legs. Mommy told him that she couldn't leave due to meds until Wednesday morning. It is a 4 hour drive up to Gainesville, Florida and Daddy couldn't go with her. So, she left early Wednesday and got there around 11 after his surgery. The vet wouldn't release him until Thursday afternoon. Poor mommy had to sleep in a chair without us. Well, she said she didn't get that much sleep. Probably because we weren't with her. Anyway, after he was discharged they had to drive to his school and get a medical leave and then drive all the way back here. Took them almost 6 hours. Mommy said there were some very bad storms on the way home. By the time they got home it was way passed time for bed, so mommy called in at work again. We all sleep around mommy when she finally went to bed. It was so good having her home and safe. Lee (human bro) is fine. He is walking around slowly. Tiger Man meowed at him something about that services you right for eating my spider. Baby Boo was going to make a big pot of spider soup (not letting mommy know what was in it) but Tiger Man wouldn’t give up any of his spiders. He meowed that the human brother had his limit. I meowed to Tiger Man that he wasn’t sure it was the spider that made his stomach hurt. He meowed that it was because he was missing a spider since human bro left to go back to school and TM believes Lee took it out of TM’s box. MOL!!! Oh, well, things are getting back to normal here. Human bro will be here for about 3 to 4 weeks before heading back. TM is busy trying to find another hiding place for his spiders. And Baby Boo is back to cooking again. Mommy is feeling better too. And I get to do all the blogs today. So as you guessed, I copy and paste. Here's a vote with a box of tuna cakes from us Florida Kitties. Big purrs to ya. Duffus >^..^<

Is your mommy an Assistant DA? We worked very hard on unseating a DA last year!! the turnover in the Assiatant DA's was small. Most decided to stay on and were given the option. Mom's friend works in the probation office and said that wasn't really affected at all.......

Mom had a busy day at work. She was on and off CC all day at work making sure RM was OK. Now she has additional work to do before bed, but she doesn't mind because we had a lot of fun....Mom has a meeting up in Boston tomorrow night~~She has a fundraiser, a meeting, and then a party aferwards...sounds like i better stock up on fritos because that sounds like a late night!!Purrs andv a vote~ paws

Oh sweetie, I know how mom's can worry!!!! You should see my mom with me~~ She was talking about getting a Maine Coon girl to breed~ She told dad she would go any place to get the "right" kitty. She also told daddy that they would drive to pick it up!!!! Dad had a blank stare~~It would probably be only if it were a two day or less trip~~keep us posted~~ and remember the babby had a long trip and atlanta is a nightmare for humans, let alone little kitten~~~

Burrr was a chilly day today! The temp went from 90 last week to about 40 tonight~~Fall may be aweek away by the calendar but it has basicly arrived up here, complete with the start of bright color foliage~~Soon I will get to watch mom toil in the yard with the leaves~ as she sputters about letting the tour buses stop, and giving them all a rake~she thinks they should engulf themselves in a New England Fall with a rank~~~not just a camera~Purrs~ and a vote~ Paws

Mommy did it again to poor Tiger Man. Around midnight we kitties were all sitting in the bathroom looking up at the window at this black bug that was just sitting there on the wall. Tiger Man was sitting on the sink just waiting for it to come down so he can pounce on it. Well, mommy woke up and was going downstairs to get some water. I told Tiger Man to look innocent and not stare at the bug. When mommy walked by she saw us kitties, (I was cleaning my paw, not looking at the bug, well, trying not to. But Tiger Man wouldn't stop from looking up) Anyway, mommy looked up and saw the big black bug. Then she left. Tiger Man said that she won't get it, that she is leaving it for him. Well, 2 minutes later, here comes mommy, and this time she kept her slippers on and had a swatter thing. She swatted the bug. He fell to the floor. Mommy scoop him up with tp and flushed him. Poor Tiger Man, he wanted that big bug too. Mommy said it was a water bug and comes in when it rains alot. Needless to say, Tiger Man didn't go in and sleep with Mommy. Getting ready to storm again, so here are some tuna cakes and shirmp bars with a vote tucked inside. Big purrs. Duffus >^..^<

Talking with my Uncle Charlie is like talking to a fruit cake~~~mom figures she'll send some cottage pictures down~ he might get really intrested~~~
I found out today that if you sit on a table and bat a big stapler on a glass dish, the dish shatters into many pieces. Sad thing was it fell onto my dinner plate!!!! It caused a hugh mess, and mommy had alot of work to do, while I looked innocent. It's all cleaned, and double cleaned to make sure there isn't any glass~ and I have a nice new dish~~Dad also knows to not leave the stapler where I can bat it...MOL~~~ maybe he will buy that time share just to get away from me and my antics ~MOL Purrs and a vote~ Paws
