Twas the Night of Thanksgiving:: Joke submitted by: Anonymous:: Twas the night of Thanksgiving, but I just couldn't sleep I tried counting backwards, I tried counting sheep. The leftovers beckoned -- the dark meat and white, but I fought the temptation with all of my might. Tossing and turning with anticipation, the thought of a snack became infatuation. So, I raced to the kitchen, flung open the door and gazed at the fridge, full of goodies galore. I gobbled up turkey and buttered potatoes, pickles and carrots, beans and tomatoes. I felt myself swelling so plump and so round, till all of a sudden, I rose off the ground. Everything is going great! Mom changed our diet because our vet said some of us are too fat. Can you believe it? I’m not fat, but I have to go on a diet anyway because of some of my housemates (yuck). It’s OK the new food is very tasty and so far mom has not instituted portion control. I wish some of the others would run it off like I do, but I think they are just too lazy. Thanks to everyone who wished our mom a Happy Birthday. Well mom had an eventful day. First she got up early and went the laundry mat with her neighbor. They went home and then had to go back for the rugs. Then mom fell down in the back form and hurt her right foot and left knee. Then she discovered that he wallet was missing and went back to the laundry mat to see if it was found there. When she got there the water pump went out on her car. Her son came with his girlfriend and gave her a ride home and AAA brought the car home. Her son was fixing the car so she borrowed the neighbors’ car to go get the part for her car and the brakes went out on the neighbors’ car. She made it home and decided she better stay home for the rest of the day so nothing else bad could happen. We hung out with mom all day to try and cheer her up. Well we had great Cake Day yesterday mom played with us and ate Angel Food Cake with us. We pulled almost all of the toys out of the toy box and ran all over the house playing and scattering toys. So glad you got rescued. Magil and I are not allowed outside. Spiker (lives in CT with his dad) love to hunt. He lives in a much safe environment. Our angel cat sister used to catch bunnies and just eat their head...ears and all.
