What I love about my owners: That she saved me from a sad,hard,life and didn't turn me away when everyone else did.

How We Met
I was found when I was running down the halls of the apartment building my pal lived in.
As I was walking fast I felt someone come behind me and I immediately stopped.She grabbed me then.
I was really filthy gray,had fleas and stunk.
After Diane saw me,she knew she couldn't let me go,that a little kitten like me needed help.She bathed me,and managed to take me in after constant battling and arguing in the family.
We bonded immediately and all plans about giving me to the shelter were thankfully canceled.
She loves me very much and we've been the best of friends ever since that fateful day!

Sylvester was one of the many kittens born each year who are first adopted, and then discarded. His first owner moved away and abandoned him. Sylvester roamed the neighborhood, desperate for a meal and a new home. He had to dodge bad weather, mean dogs, and traffic. All while searching for his next meal. Eventually he caught the eye of a kind person who felt sorry for Sylvester, but could not keep him. He took him from door to door through the neighborhood until he stopped at his furrever, loving family's home. They knew when they met Sylvester that he was full of love to give the right family. Our dog, Siog, was to run for Dog of the Month in February (this month). Unfortunately, Siog died on 25th January just 6 days before the contest was to begin. We opted out of the contest but our friends on the Dog Channel asked us to keep Siog in the competition and try to win it to honor her. Hey Buddy
Making it short again tonight, because of time - blogging to one kitty. Everyone took off today so we were alone most of the day. Then they changed the livingroom furniture to "stage it for the Open House." Of course all of us had to explore what was going on. Dusty's report isn't all that encouraging - maybe pre cancerous in his intestines. We're going to try an antibiotic first to see if he has an infection, but if his white blood cell count doesn't go up after 10 days, we'll do an ultra-sound to investigate further. We're alittle dishearten over this unexpected news, we were hoping a pill or shot might be the remedy. We'll take it one step at a time. At least he's feeling just fine now. Once upon a time 13 years ago, a Lion King was born. Through no fault of his own, he was going to be sent to the animal shelter. But on the way, he stopped by his future home, and the people living there knew he was the one for them. They named him Mufasa, the Little Lion King. Mufasa was lonely, so his Mom & Dad adopted another Lion King. They named him Simba. The years passed and the Little Lion Kings did everything together, and they loved each other very much. But sadly, one day Simba had to go over the Rainbow Bridge and leave Mufasa behind. His family was heartbroken. Shortly after that, Mufasa was diagnosed with diabetes. We love boxes too. We are just sure they are here for our entertainment and pure enjoyment. Mom brought a new one home today - we can't wait to play with it...we got a bath yesterday, trimmed claws and zapped with Frontline...no fair! She divided us so we wouldn't see what was happening to the other - no fair - no fair! We like water okay until it's running all over us. We got her back though...we got her all wet...tee hee hee. I guess baths are an acquired taste. Although I like to play in the water, I don't think I would like a forced bath. I think it is too cold here anyway to have a bath. Are those new pictures of you. You like baths? I bet your fur is so soft and smooth! I don't like baths at all! It's blogging time from FL. We've attempted voting, but with dial-up it's slow going! However, we've been successful in daily voting for the COTD's! It's been busy seeing 12 homes each day, and needless to say, we're confused. The homes are nice and some have plant ledges for us cats (or Mom's German nutcracker collection), but we haven't found THE RIGHT one yet. Today is our leisure day, taking a walk on the beach and doing some shopping at the Outlet Mall in Destin. Bet you look all spiffy after your bath. We think you are a very handsome kitty. We like the orange and white kitties. They are the most handsome of all kitties! We are well. Enjoying unseasonably warm weather yesterday and today. Suppose to go up to 66* today. That is unusual for the beginning of February. CC has been very slow.
