Everything is going great! Mom changed our diet because our vet said some of us are too fat. Can you believe it? I’m not fat, but I have to go on a diet anyway because of some of my housemates (yuck). It’s OK the new food is very tasty and so far mom has not instituted portion control. I wish some of the others would run it off like I do, but I think they are just too lazy. Thanks to everyone who wished our mom a Happy Birthday. Well mom had an eventful day. First she got up early and went the laundry mat with her neighbor. They went home and then had to go back for the rugs. Then mom fell down in the back form and hurt her right foot and left knee. Then she discovered that he wallet was missing and went back to the laundry mat to see if it was found there. When she got there the water pump went out on her car. Her son came with his girlfriend and gave her a ride home and AAA brought the car home. Her son was fixing the car so she borrowed the neighbors’ car to go get the part for her car and the brakes went out on the neighbors’ car. She made it home and decided she better stay home for the rest of the day so nothing else bad could happen. We hung out with mom all day to try and cheer her up. Well mom decided to say home this weekend. We’re going to stay in on Labor Day and avoid the crowds. We are going to have Catnip and Temptations. Mom was going to go camping but changed her mind so we get her to ourselves. There are 7 of us; we have blogs for only 4 of us. I have to hurry to write this note and give it to our friends because mom is very upset with Tiger who woke her up fighting with Sylvester. We are inside only kitties and sometimes we get on each others nerves. Well actually it’s Tiger who gets on everybody’s nerves. The rest of us are very content and peaceful. We live right on a very busy Highway called Aurora Ave N, or Hwy 99, and it’s definitely not safe for us to go outside. Mom buys us toys and treats and cracks the windows for us to smell outside to keep us entertained. We’re very content here and never make any attempt to leave. We love our mom very much. Chloe was heartbroken when mom was gone for three weeks in the hospital a few years ago and she wouldn’t eat or play. It was warm today and we lounged in the windows in the sun for most of the day. We got a new water fountain called a Deluxe Fresh Flow and after the novelty wore off we all got used to using it without playing in it to much. It saves mom some time because she doesn’t have to clean out the water bowl constantly. The water tastes great. Well we had great Cake Day yesterday mom played with us and ate Angel Food Cake with us. We pulled almost all of the toys out of the toy box and ran all over the house playing and scattering toys.
