VOTE SATURDAY FOR ANGEL P.K. #62764 FOR SUN COTD
P. K. 's Mom wrote a beautiful story in his profile and we copied here for you: "Mom rescued me and my sister Gabby from a group of 30-40 cats and kittens. I was a very active kitten, and Mom had me declawed when I was a few months old because I kept bouncing off the walls and leaving scratches on them. Even though it nevered bothered me, Mom really felt guilty about it and she said she'd never do it to a cat ever again. I had a wonderful life with my Mom and Dad, but I developed some health problems as I got older (I always had a heart murmur), and finally, one day the vet told Mom I would probably only have about six months or so left to live because I had something called CRF and my kidneys weren't functioning well. But, I fooled him...I lived another two years, thanks to lots of TLC, medications, and the sub-Q fluids that Mom gave me. She says that the day I told her I couldn't go on any longer was one of the saddest days of her life. But, someday we'll see each other again. THE RAINBOW BRIDGE-Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge. When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to the RAINBOW BRIDGE. There are meadows & hills for all our special friends so they can run & play together. There is plenty of food, water & plenty of sunshine,and our friends are warm and comfortable. All the animals that had been ill & old are restored to health & vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole & strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days & times gone by. The animals are happy & content, except for one thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind. They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops & looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent,his eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group,flying over the grass faster & faster. You have been spotted and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face, your hands caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life, but never absent from your heart... Then you cross RAINBOW BRIDGE together....
