It's been such a very long time since I meowed, but I want you all to know that I think of all your family all the time, especially Mom Heidi. I truly believe the doctor made a terrible error in sending her home without first letting her know what had happened with you and Muf. I hope that she is responding and recovering and can rejoin her family soon.

Here we go:I am Gidgit, my owner's BFF! My old life was awful! I was taken from a breeder, when I was a kitten. I was never loved. Just bred to make money. Then, when my old owner moved, she was gonna put me down!!!!

my new life:When my owner,karli, found out about me, she took me home! She was crazy about Sphynx since she could talk! I am a show cat! I have won CFA best HHP in show, and two trophies and Tica grand best 4th place in show! But, mostly, I am loved!!!!! LOVE, such a small word. Means sooooooooooooo much!!! I even ate on the table for Thanksgiving. i LOVE to be warm. i know the sound of a fire log opening, a dryer door closing...WARMTH!!!!! MEDICAL UPDATE FROM TIGGER #82433—PLEASE KEEP HER IN YOUR PRAYERS: Thank you for checking on me. I am very sick. We went to the vet on Friday and then had to go back on Saturday for more fluids and antibiotics. I have to get a shot every day for two weeks. Mom and dad carry me to my litter box every hour or two. I went a few times today by myself. I am finally eating again but not much. I have a very bad UTI and we are waiting on my blood work still. Hopefully tomorrow I will start to feel better. I wish you a great Turkey day.

Friday Purrs
Hello dear furiends. We apawologize for not getting back to you sooner & hope you don’t mind a c/p “family animal blog” from the IN crew. Mom has been running errands, shopping, painting, meeting some of your pawents on Facebook & creating another chapter of Angel Shermie’s “Tale” this week, so it’s been a busy one. Next week will be about the same too since the kids will be home so probably won’t be blogging much until after Thanskgiving. Big sis is on her way to SC right now so mom is anxiously waiting for another call or text from her. She may be out of the house, but we still worry, especially since they got stuck in rush hour traffic in Knoxville,TN. Wanted to stop by before the weekend & let everyone know we’re doing great, the sun is finally shining & all’s well with the NICE kitties & Country Dogs. Will meow or woof more as soon as we can.

UPDATE ON ERASTUS T. JONES #154979. He is doing better, but must remain in his kennel while he heals. He goes back to vet on Monday for a recheck. His Mom is so glad to have him home, but is very concerned for him and asks that we continue our prayers.

UPDATE FROM KALI #65390: her dad now has stage 2 bronchitis with the H1N1 flu and is on antibiotics and must stay home all week. Please pray for his complete recovery, and pray for his very worried family.

MEDICAL UPDATE ON ELVIS’ MOM CONNIE #107253 – PLEASE KEEP HER AND THE FAMILY IN YOUR THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS. “Mom has to go back Saturday for a full MRI scan (she said she never did take good pictures MOL), and the neurologist on Monday. There are lesions in the brain, and they want to make sure before they give a final diagnosis—it could possibly be MS. Mom said it could always be worse, lot of folks out there are a lot worse off.

“When she goes to see her rheumatologist, there are children that are there as well; and it just breaks your heart to see them, as it can be a painful disease. The last thing we ever want to see is our family and our kits in any kind of pain, especially the children. --- Have a wonderful weekend.

NEW UPDATE ON SHASTA’S MOM #25419 – The doctor is lowering her prednisone and weaning her off it over the next two months; she is currently taking 9 other medications for her degenerative disk disease, rheumatoid arthritis and other problems, including Vitamin D deficiency. The new lower dose of prednisone has helped her to relax a little more and not be so hyperactive.

Thank you very much for voting for me for COTD. This is quite an honor. I was once a starving street cat and now I'm going to be COTD and that's really cool. Mom has been real busy with Tippi and her kittens, they've become quite lively and are nursing less. You can see Tippi and her lovely family at 158827. They remind me of the kittens I was a father to back in the late 1960's, before mom got me 'fixed.' Their mom was a calico named 'Taffy' and there was one kitten that looked like a gray version of me and was called 'Tigger.' Thank you again for voting for me, that means so much to me. Angel Tiger

1 jar strained baby meat
6 heaping tablespoons wheat germ
4 heaping tablespoons powdered milk
Form 5-6 balls and press on a greased cookis sheet.Bake 10-15 minutes in oven at 350 degress. =====
Hi,Spongie here with my daily adventures!Sure missed you all yesterday,thanks so much for leaving your votes.A warm windy day here,mom took me out for a walk and to look for mr. squirrel,I was running so fast I slipped on wet leaves and rolled over,mom laughed,but that was not funny,I got all dirty!Did not see mr.squirrel mom said the wind was blowing to hard for him to stay on the tree limbs,but mom I want to see him now I said,oh well no squirrel I guess,so I just went over the bank a little ways and dug in the dirt,that was fun,but mom made me stop ,she said I would step on a chestnut burr,ahhh mom,you spoil all my digging fun,hehe.My paws were all muddy.Mom said we had to come back in,she is not feeling good today,having problems with her back today after the long drive and wait yeaterday at the docs,so came back in,I growled the whole way,mom had to carry me in,hehe,ate some treats,washed all the dirt off me,gave mom a really mean pouty look,then got in my box of papers shredded them more,and now sleeping burried in the papers.Oh,go to The Gangs page and see me and mr. squirrel in the picture,thanks mom Sandy and Felicity for the great picture of me and my buddy Squirrel!Love you all!

Hi,Spongie here with my daily adventures!A cool day here with mr. sun in and out today.Mom took me for my early walk,and it was cool out there,I was shivering mom said,ahhh mom,I don't mind the cold,I have fur!I saw mr. squirrel,he was jumping from limb to limb in the chestnut tree,and chattering at me,I shook my paw at him and said one day mr. squirrel I will chase you in that tree,when mom is not looking,he just looked at me and ate a chestnut.There were so many birds out this morning,mom said we would have to put the feed out for the, soon,yaaa,than I can chase a bird mom,she said I don't think so Spongie,aaah mom,a kitty can't have any fun around here. So we came bak in,I did not growl this time,I was a little cold,hehe.Came in followed mom around for awhile,wacked Muffy for looking at me,now I'm in my box of shredded paper sleeping with one eye open watching mom peek at me around the corner,no sleep here for a kitty,hehe,love you all.The Gang says hi!HI,bring you down,hugs,kisses,love you,Angel Gypsy,Rambo,Bootsie sends love.

9/21`THE 'CAT' STATE IS MASSACHUSETTS
MA has "Tabby Cat" as its State Cat! I did not look at every state to see if we magnificent felines were represented anywhere else but this just jumped out at me!! Good move, MA!!

WowserMeowser, you NJ and NY kitties are smart. I don't know where to start. I think with NY today then NJ and MA tomorrow since I made the mistake of trying to drive out of NY rather than taking your subway, a cab or limo. Yes, I do have my catnip banana in my paw as I drive! Ah, gee, then I have to get back to JFK. But, first, YES, Max and Pouncer, I am blown away by Sammy's NJ book!!

Thank you, Joseph Gayetty, for your lifesaving invention, toilet paper: not only a favorite toy of many of us but where would our Moms and Dads be without it? New York City is the largest city in the world and has a very generous family: The Big Apple Gang. Several days ago Cody Lee gave me a credit card, without which I would have been thumbing my way across our country!! I joined his family in front row seats to watch "The Lion King" - stupendous, thank you!
Timmy taught us about the "Fingerlakes" while Max and Dex also reminded us that NY is not just about NYC. Adirondack Park is the largest park in the continuous US at 6 million acres!

Lola, we LOVE your pic of you and P&P and have posted it. They really ARE in Buenos Aires and are so impressed that they are still staring at de Julio Avenue, the widest avenue in the world. Thank You All for voting for my Charr girl for her second COTD and on her Anniversary date 9/19 of her going to sleep forever. She is missed everyday as she was a big part of the Knights' household for 8 years one month and five days.

Mom and dad rescued Charr, Ebbonny and Bahneetah when they were a mere six weeks old at the most in the backyard in a pile of baled straw that dad used for his bow & arrow practice. The picture with Charr laying on top of the kitty condo when she was still a kitten is where all three of them would curl up together and sleep. Yes, all three at once slept on top of it. When it was just the three of them, we used to travel and they went every where with us including camping.

Thank you for your comments, gifts, yummies and compliments as they are all appreciated. Thank You once again for showing your love; support and the Congratulations for my Charr girl. I appreciate your friendships for All My Children and myself.

9/19`AHHH, A DAY OF REST!
You are welcome, Squeakers and Dad. Like you we live in a beautiful sunny state, CA.

You may wonder how I look so young and handsome at age 15 (I know, again I mention it). Well, as I hinted yesterday, I have a SECRET: I found the Fountain of Youth that Ponce de Leon had been searching for - - and guess what??? It is not a place but the Sun and Water! Sun to stimulate the oils in our skin and water to hydrate us. Aren't you glad you all came with me to Florida, the Virgin Islands and Virginia?!!!

See how I am sprawled out on the beach? It is because I ate too much! Did everyone enjoy the fantastic beach party Bandito, SuzyQ and FL Fab 4 put on? I chowed down on blue crabs and hush puppies while I listened to Bandito tell us the history of Florida. Then all of us got to sit quietly while he perused the photo album of his and Gin Gin's Paris trip that I delivered for her.

I tried to walk off that feast by admiring the 663 miles of beaches in FL but had to stop for lunch at Blackie's. Yum!

Conch fritters next on the menu at Easy's Virgin Island home but I got chased by a goat, a WHAT?? Headed for the "8 Tuff Miles" to make room for more food in Cruz Bay where Sugar taught us about Sugar Birds and showed us the Casha tree, which Angel Casha was named after. From all of them, I am sprinkling Frangipani flowers to all of you. After the two great blogs Easy and Sugar left for us, no one can ever say they have not visited the Virgin Islands. I felt like I was actually right there, on St. John.

Somehow I successfully avoided imbibing from the Sunshine Gang Dad's famous cabinet but I did leave that poor starving foursome food from our Beach Party. I may have to put D&E back on their Harley's to chase their Dad Jim down.

If anyone still has any energy left, Mongrel O'Rourke has a volleyball game going.

I think I got enough (home grown) catnip flavored Crusan Rum to help all of us party for months to come!! Thanks, Cashmere.

I hope my joviality isn't hard on your Dad right now. I really appreciate that your family has joined my Catpaign Tour. Shamrock and I are visiting your beautiful state for the next few days. Don't worry about sending info, we have enough, just enjoy and maybe find some peace.

For the beautiful message. You had brought tears to my eyes as I do know how you feel about losing your baby. It doesn't matter how many we lose as each one gone leaves the heart with the emptiness feeling. My babies are just that as well; babies. They each have their own purrsonalities and their love is irreplaceable.

I think CC is a great place as well as they have been through what you have gone through with losing your baby.

LIBBY has gum infection (on Amoxicillin) & hard tartar on back teeth which was removed. On pills for thyroid.

CHARR was my half sister by blood and I got along with her just fine til about July 2008. Some of you may remember the story about me having to be in confinement for a couple months which started in July when I started fight with her. Mom and dad couldn't figure out why til CHARR got sick and lost weight then became very lethagic. Eventually when mom took her to her vet appointment which ended to be her last visit found by the xray that she had a mass around her lungs. Mom had to call dad and they both agreed over the phone it was CHARR'S time to sleep forever. On September 19, 2008 mom held CHARR in her arms while Dr. Mindy did the humane thing of giving CHARR her last shot. CHARR went to sleep and was no longer in pain nor was she suffering any longer. Mom & Dad knew then why I was fighting with CHARR. Mom is writing this with tears as she misses CHARR. CHARR lived to be 8 years and she is missed to this day still. She is survived by her feline mama Baby 13286; littermates brother Ebbonny 10703 & sister Bahneetah 10641 plus all her half brothers & sisters and her Aunt Samantha 15442 by blood.
