What is your cat trying to say?
Your cat has 100's of ways to let you know what's going on in her mind--so many in fact, that the barrage of signals she sends your way can be a confusing babble if you don't understand them.
Imagine how you'd feel in a room full of foreigners if you didn't have your phrase book handy. They're trying to tell you something, but you just don't understand.
It's the same thing with your cat. His brain is brimming over with wants and needs, do's n don'ts, expectations & emotions. He wants to let you in on his secrets and it's frustratingfor him when you don't get the message. And you don't want him to be too frustrated because that leads to behavior problems that could sour your relationship with your cat.
Sharing your life with a cat is a lot like being married! Good communication is the key. You and your cat will come to grief if you shrug off his attempts to tell you what's on his mind with an absent-minded "Aww, isn't that cute?"

Oh I forgot to tell everyone...
I learned the neatest new trick the other day! The 10ft ladder that is at the bottom of the stairs in the pool room; every time I make my descent from the stairway, I run across the pool room floor and boogie up to the top of the ladder. Everytime! I even do this by myself when no one is coming down the stairs. The metal ladder makes so much cool noise when I climb it. Even at 3 am! I did so good in the truck today!
I got to go for a ride! It was bouncy and scary, but I did good. Mom won't be back to get us for a week though and that really stinks. I know she feels terrible, like a traitor, like she left her kids, she is beating herself up with worry (because I AM), but we will all get through it.Come visit me, Grover, Otis, Sparky, Simba, Soxy, B.C. I am the 'Great Hunter of Lizards'
The weather is warming up and boy do I bring in the lizards! Mom does not like them in the house without their tail. I set them down for 1 minute and she wisks them away outside and hides them! You are a very pretty girl. I am glad that someone takes care of you. Be careful out there. We used to live outside all of the time and it was rough. Now the only time we go out is in a carrier.
