My favorite tricks and treats are: Temptations are good, but Puffs n Purrs are my favorite.
Where I hang out: I love to sleep under the covers, or curl up in the clean laundry.
My favorite grubs: Fancy Feast is my favorite, although sometimes Mom gives me a special treat.
My pet peeves: Chico is my pet peeve. He can be most annoying sometimes, but he is cute and good for comic relief.
What I love about my owners: My Mom is a very caring person. She takes good care of us (Chico and me). She plays with us and gives us lots of attention. At night when she goes to bed I crawl up and get lots of petting and hugs.
I have a new Dad, Mom got married last year (12/11). He is so wonderful. He takes such good care of me and gives me wonderful rubs. I have taken over almost every seat in the house and when I sit on the couch he makes a special bed for me to lie on. Life is even better now that my new Dad is here.
My cat hobbies: I love to climb into Mom's arms while she is brushing her teeth and knead her arm.

How We Met
My family has always had cats and for several years I had been without one because my husband was alergic to them. When he passed away I decided that I needed a cat in my life to help me through my grief. I adopted Shadow from a vet near where I lived and knew when I first saw her that she was the one. She was a very frisky kitten and followed me everywhere, hence the name Shadow. She soon became a loving member of my family, or did I become a member of hers. She has given me years of love and affection and I can't imagine life without her. Her birthday is 3/17/03. COTD 02/13/08. ♥ Sippies and Shadow were married on 10/25/08 ♥

Hiya Girlfriend
Princess Diaries: So good to blog you again...Life at the Jersey Shore is starting to get busy...The weather is starting to warm up, people are out on the Boardwalk & more cars are on the street...That means tourist season is upon us at the end of the month..Mommy hates tourist season but for me it makes my day more entertaining...My window sill looks down on the street & this is the time of year when all the action starts & also when tons of Birdies sit on the wires right where I can lean out and grab them...Just kidding, I would never grab a Birdie but I do sometimes try to whack them...MOL...It makes Mommy very nervous so when she knows she isn't going to be around mean old Mommy lowers my window...She is such a downer...This week has been really beautiful...I have had a very refreshing ocean breeze tickle my whiskers & ruffle my fur every day...I sure hope it doesn't get hot to soon cause then my window gets closed, the blinds come down & the A/C gets turned on..BORING...The sun shines in my window in the middle of the day so in the summer it makes our living room feel like an oven & I don't get to watch the street until the sun goes down...For now, I am entertained every day...I have been having lots of fun playing soccer too...I found a paper ball Daddy made me under the couch & I have been whacking it all over the apartment like a kitten at play...Mommy laughs at me cause I have a zillion balls but my paper ball is my treasure...Yup, I can still move like a kitten even though Mommy claims I am a senior...Hey Mom, your only as old as you feel...Just cause Mommy feels OLD she has to keep reminding me I'm a senior...What Mom, misery loves company...The woman has a mean streak..So, that pretty much sums up my week except for my daily Strawberry fix...Yup, I also love this time of year cause Strawberries are in season & I can never get enough...Oh yeah, lately I have this need when eating a strawberry to rub it all over my face, chin & whiskers...I don't know why I do it but it makes Mommy crazy & anything that drives her crazy is fun for me...What Mom, I am not a brat, I am just stating the truth...You know Mom, you really need to chill out...Oops, I better go I'm getting the evil eye...See you next week...Purrs, Princess StrawberryCome visit me, Sam & Oreo's "Houston Manor" & Princess Oreo - Ventnor Beach Beauty.

Good Morning Shadow
When I saw your blog I did the happy dance...So happy your back, I have missed you very much too...My Mommy keeps up with yours on FB...It sure is great about your Mommy quiting smoking...We are very proud of her, it will take time but once her body adjusts she will feel so much better...Tell her to keep up the good work, we are cheering her on...The weather here is okay...It just rained for a few days but has been in the high 50's low 60's this week...MOmmy is going to try to start walking on the Boardwalk in the morning when she gets home from work...She has to work up to it, with her back problems she can't walk to far yet so a bit each day should help till she builds up her muscles...I am only blogging once a week these days cause Mommy is just so tired when she gets home from work in the morning...I usually blog between late Saturday night and early Sunday morning...So I'll see you then...So happy you are back...Purrs, Princess Oreo CookieCome visit me, Sam & Oreo's "Houston Manor" & Princess Oreo - Ventnor Beach Beauty.

Tomorrow (Thursday) is officially ♥Brothers &Sisters Day♥ a day for siblings to celebrate one another. Our siblings have a huge impact on our lives (some for the good, some not-so-good).
Siblings are truly a special blessing (did I really just say that?!) so be sure to appreciate and cherish your bothers & sisters. Another reason to celebrate is that not everyone is lucky enough to have siblings (like Mommy who is an only child).
So don’t forget – tomorrow celebrate that special bond and let your siblings know just how special they are to you. ~Queen Trixie's final day in 'office'~ April 30th
Hello & happy Tuesday every kitty! This is the last day that I’ll be meowing to you from the Queen’s chair so my big sis & head chef, Patches, has whipped up a banquet that will amaze your senses & tantalize your taste buds as my way of thanking all the sweet kitties that pounced by this month. At dawn tomorrow we’ll be vacating the cabin with our royal mementos & will say farewell to the beautiful wooded area that I've called my home for an entire month. All kitties that have visited are suggested to make sure everything they brought along has been reclaimed because once I pack away the royal gowns I’ll no longer be responsible for my actions & anything missing may never be seen by you again...MOL...but until then I must remain as dignified as possible & therefore I call my royal criers forth & hand them the final royal decree to announce:

We are doing good today. YOU??? We are waiting for it to clear up and get warmer. It's been raining all morning again and the yard is all wet. The temp says we are at 67*, but without the sun, it doesn't feel like it.
Mom has been resting today. She has a headache...she has TV on, but not really watching it..."MacGyver" is on Cloo TV...she has seen them all anyway, but mom likes Richard Dean Anderson.
How's moms back today??? A lot of CC moms/dads are not doing very well...we are keeping ghem all in our purrayers.
Did you see that the Red Wings made the playoffs again?? 22 straight years now...it is good for the City of Detroit that we do good..more money coming in from ticket sales. We are playing Anaheim in round 1. By the way...My team, KCK has the Red Wings at MHL.

Hey Shadow!
Congrats to Mom for quiting smoking! My Mom knows how hard that is. She quit 11/25/00 after smoking for 34 years and wished she had quit many many years earlier! Your Mom will be so happy she has done this! Tell her she must not start again! She will probably gain a little weight at first but after she has adjusted to not smoking she can work on that. Mom was surprised how much more money she had! And cigarettes are much more expensive now, than 13 years ago.
My Mom is doing okay. She was doing great with her cane but this past Tuesday she threw her back out. It's much better now but still bothers her. Tomorrow morning the wire comes out. Her surgery is 7:30. Leaving a supporting vote for Mom & keeping her in our prayers. We are so proud of her! Peace & love. Have a purfect evening. Kitty Kisses. The temperature was high 67 & low was 48 this morning, now it's 66 with humidity 45% & wind is 0 MPH. Monday's suppose to be Partly Cloudy & High 62.

♥ Good evening to our dear friends!!!! Yes, I am back and mom did finish Pappoose's 10366 Thank Yous last night for her First Forever Sleep COTD Badge.
♥ Well, mom & dad wrapped up their 2-day yard sale on Saturday. The sale went pretty good and now mom wants to get some sand to replace the old stuff in the outside 5x5 sand~litter box. They won't know how to act with new and fresh sand!!!
♥ This morning, Mom & Dad packed the un-sold items then took them to Sara's Treasures, which is a second hand store and all proceeeds sold there goes towards spaying/neutering/Fostering and such. They also have lots of kitties there up for adoption. Mom said they had part of the store unavailable cuz they have kitties back there under Quarrantine.
♥ We have been going out in the cattery everyday. Sometime Saturday late afternoon though, mom was at the kitchen sink and she was smelling pee so she started looking around and seen it. Mom knew who did it. I was lying on the counter and she told me that I was a bad boy and said that I was lucky that dad didn't know what I did. She never once raised her voice though then she cleaned it up with paper towels and vinegar.
♥ SASSEE 10605 has been in some pain again so mom has been giving her pain medicine. Whyskrs 10378 also got in trouble as he's been acting like a Tom with Sassee. Mom heard her screaming the other day cuz of that boy and he got in trouble then mom comforted Sassee. That boy never learns!!!!

A SUPER GOOD MORNING TO YOU!
Sorry we have not been doing a lot of blogging lately, but want you to know you and all our dear CC friends are forever in our prayers. Mom says her hands are full and so are our paws trying to fix up the house, get her ready for a trip to Norway, set up home care for us and the dogs. She got her passport application in yesterday and has other chores to do downtown today. The dogs have a vet appt. for some shots again. They don't know it yet and will just think mom is taking them for a walk. Our vet is just a block away. We also seem to have internet issues, so when we get on to try to catch up blogs, CC is forever slow or it is our internet connection that goes out! Sound familiar? We know others suffer these issues also. Then mom blames us kitties, especially Molly, Barney, Hefty, Andy and Zeus for sitting in her lap, when she is trying to type, shoving her hands, walking on the keyboard, getting in her face, etc! US! Imagine! We do hope one day soon she will get her act together. I'm back, did you miss me??? We had no heat all weekend so mom stayed in her room with the oil heater and her electric blanket watching TV.
Our gas was off since late FRI night we guess. It was on FRI during the day, but we woke up on Caturday and it was cold in here, mom coulodn't figure out why...she checked everything and all the gas appliances would not work, so mom had no cooking gas either...she had to eat cereal and sandwiches all weekend.
DTE came this morning and figured out the trouble...the meter went bad, they said they installed it mover 20 years ago and it just quit working, so they took the old one off and put a new one on and now we have gas again...the man had to come up and light all moms pilot lights again, too.
Yesterday mom had to go back to the ER cause she is still blocked up..they gave her an emama and made her stay there until she went, so she was there for a ong time...did not get home until after 8pm, so mom was not in the mood to take us to hockey after all that mess.
It was cold all weekend, wouldn't you know caue we had no gas, it was only in the 30's with rain and dampness and no sun. Today it is 70* and sunny, but it is very windy out...we are in and out as we feel like going...mom left her back door open for us.

How was your weekend? Ours was nice except for those loud thunderstorms yesterday which began at 2 a.m. and lasted until after 8 a.m. We received several inches of rain & lots of thunder, lightning and wind, thankfully no damage.
Did you know that April is National Pet First Aid Awareness Month? Your first-aid kit should include phone numbers for your veterinarian, extra bottles of prescribed or packaged medicines (like eye wash), hydrogen peroxide, gauze, adhesive tape, non-stick bandages, tweezers, a small flashlight, round-tip scissors, and a topical antiseptic or antibiotic, plus clean cloths & towels.
Also, be sure to have your pawrent’s name, address & phone numbers attached to your carrier. Ever since Hurricane Katrina hit us, Mommy keeps a first aid kit & a hurricane evacuation kit ready for us, just in case. We never know when it might come in handy.

EUGENE, OREGON WEATHER REPORT:
The temperature was high 52 & low was 39 this morning, now it's 47 feels like 48 with humidity 71% & wind is 6 MPH W. Monday's suppose to be Showers & High 53.

♥ SASSEE 10605 has been doing a bit better the last couple days. Her front legs elbows still has swelling and she does continue to have pain. Mom gives her pain medicine still about once a day. The good news is that since mom washed all our toys the other day, Sassee has played with one of the catnip stuffed toys for a few minutes rubbing all over it.
♥ WHYSKRS 10378 is doing great!!!! He goes back to see Dr. Liz this coming Friday to get his stitches removed.
♥ BAHNEETAH 10641 has been sneezing for a few days. Mom thinks she has a cold which started with Jazpyr 10428 a few weeks ago. She seems to have gotten it the worst. Mom's keeping watch over her.
♥ TC is doing well and continues to take his heart♥ medicine every morning.
♥ SYLVESTER 11567 is still doing well and no more health issues.

Cool picture! Congrats to Yale! Woo hoo! Just saw on TV. What was it 4-0 or 4-1? Cool. Mom is ready to watch the Hawks beat the Blues! Mom is doing well in therapy. Her therapist gave her a cane to use now. Yesterday Mom walked four blocks with her walker. She is going to the hospital Tuesday for blood work. It is only four blocka away. The sun is out and it's in the 50's. Not warm enough to open the windows. We are both napping. Me in the bedroom in front of the window and Dean on the recliner next to Mom. Mom worked with me in the house before I could walk outside. We head north on th 25th. Won't be in St. Charles Mo until around end of may first of june. mom n Lynne went swimming. Boy it was chilly too, our temps were in the 70's, but mom loved it, she just did the hot tub. I hope you are seeing signs of spring. Check out Boomer got new boots, auntie Linda sent them to him. They were Angel Brandi. Dad n mom really like them. Yesterday mom n dad went out in the morning, they only took Only Boomer. They went to a car show, and he walked around with lots of people on the street. Mom n dad was so proud of Him. He didn't scare once. They had two bands playing. They were loud too. But it didn't scare him.Then they took me to the flea market. And to the veggie market. They bought him sweet potatoes, dad wants mom to add sweet potatoes to his food again. Then they went to lunch you guess it, they took McDonalds And he got his own double cheese burger without bread. He's allergic to wheat. Mom n dad bought one home for Ellie n Bud. They didn't take them because mom likes to get Boomer out around people. Since He's so scare of a lot of things. He had a great, Bud n Ellie really don't enjoy going like he does, and they just want the food. We're he just loves being with mom n dad. Dads says show them food they'll eat over being with mom n dad. Every time they go I try to go with them. Have a great day.Come visit me, Harley Will be Off Line June 21st to June 4th.

Mommy says she is afraid this is going to be a C&P. She wants to thank everyone for all the cards and prayers she received over the last 2 weeks. It has meant a lot to her. Yesterday she saw radiologist and they are now rady to contact insu. co to get permission to start radiation. They said it would probably be next week before they get permission. Each radioactive injection is over $2000 so they then have to order the injections. Mom will find out next week when they get permission when they are starting. In the meantime they said mom can return to work until the injections start.

Thanks for the birthday and COTD wishes!!!! I had a great birthday yesterday, Mom took me outside to sit in the nice sun, and I had special treats and tuna, overall a great day, sun and napping!!! Purrfect for me!!!! I was so happy I am COTD today, I told Mom I wanted more tuna and to go out with her again, but she said she has to work so ok to tuna, but no to outside (its nice today, but if you can believe it, we are supposed to get a foot of snow tonight and tomorrow ...YUCK) Hope you have a great day!!! I am doing pawsome today. Mom has TV on and I was snuggling with her on the couch, but now she is on her computer.
It is raining outside today. Mom opened the back door for us to see, so now we don't want to go outside. We do not want to get wet. I hate when that happens.
Yesterday was a nicer day, it got to 59* and it was partly sunny, but it was very very windy and mom was afraid our power was gonna go out. We got to go out and that wind messed up my fur.
Mom got us some new catfood, it is Friskies Good Mornings. We liked it, but we don't usually do breakfast, we eat dry all day and wet for dinner, mom just wanted to see if we would eat it.
I'm off to take a much needed rainy day nap. Have a pawsome afternoon!

Wake up sweet kitties because the sun is coming up & Zaboo has the bus warmed up for everyone since it’s still rather chilly here in the woods. It’s supposed to warm up to the mid-60s today with some windy conditions, but hopefully we’ll be able to shed our jackets as we head south toward the center of my home state to visit the smaller than you’re used to, yet very nice & extremely friendly, INDIANAPOLIS CHILDRENS’ ZOO! (http://www.indyzoo.com) I was going to take you to the Ft. Wayne zoo since it’s closer to my cabin but found out their official opening day isn’t until the 20th. You’d think that getting a request from a queen would prompt them to open early but no such luck! Hmmm…guess they don’t take orders well from animals…MOL! Well off we go kitties!! Anyone not awake in time to catch the bus will be stuck gathering firewood for our bonfire tonight so you’d better get your paws pouncing because Zaboo is revving the engine & is ready to go! Don’t forget to paw SPUNKY #161265 her daily vote before we go so that she can wear her own crown next month as our May queen!

What’s mew with you? Not too much going on here. Mommy has a sinus headache. The Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America recently named Mississippi as the #1 Spring Allergy Capital. Pollen is everywhere causing itchy eyes, runny noses & hay fever. Good thing I stay indoors.

The temperature was high 61 & low was 53 this morning, now it's 61 with humidity 75% & wind is 17 MPH SSW. Friday's suppose to be Rain & High 59.

♥ Mom had a few errands to do this morning then she stopped at PetSmart to buy three 40 pound boxes of ExQuisiCat litter and 24 cans of Fancy Feast Classic (for me) plus she got 2 bags of Temptations treats (FREE). Mom also made sure her x-car was no longer on their insurance. Mom still needs to go to Wal*Mart for our monthly supply of Friskies dry food and some groceries, but that won't be for another day or two!!!!
♥ Mom did give Sassee 10605 a dose of the Buprenorphine last night. It seems to help her relax better even through the following day. She will be going to see Dr. Liz on Friday morning at 10:00 for the tests needed.
♥ It has been a lazy day since it's been raining on and off plus windy. I did get mom to hold me this afternoon on the couch, too!!!!

Now that I’ve peaked your curiosity (MOL) I’m going to spin you all the way back to California to meow about a very special & heroic bird that was owned by SABRINA’s #11187 mom a long time ago, (B.C. before cats)! OBIE was just a common yellow parakeet but he was very special and spoke 3 languages...English, Italian and Spanish. Obie lived in a cage in the living room but he liked to stand on top of the cage, on mom’s shoulder, or flew around during the time he was out every day…but never leaving the room. One day, his mom reached into the top cupboard to pull out a crock pot and lost her grip and it came crashing down on her head. She’d never in my life experienced this sensation & truly saw stars and felt herself losing consciousness. All of sudden, Obie flew into the room and landed on her shoulder and started chirping "pretty bird", "Ciao Bella", "Que Paso" into her ear as she gripped the countertop. (Obie never had been in the kitchen before and it was a completely separate room as the living room) She later went to the emergency room & found out she had a concussion. She believes Obie & his act of heroism prevented her from being knocked out cold that day.

♥ UPDATE 4/02: SASSEE KNIGHT 10605
Dr. Liz returned mom's phone call Monday evening. Mom updated her about Sassee's front legs still swollen. Dr. Liz wants to do a couple Xrays and a Bone Density to rule out Bone Cancer. Dr. Liz was off today and mom should know more on Wednesday as what will happen. She also told mom it's ok to give Sassee 0.2ml of Buprenorphine (pain liquid) which mom just happens to have on hand.
♥ Mom is feeling much better today. She's still a little weak, but she's getting lots better. The last couple days resting has really helped her along with your prayers. Thank you!!!!
♥ It has been a beautiful day and mom opened the cattery for the first time since last year. We were all happy to go out in it especially since I'm not allowed to go outside in the front yard anymore.

Hmmm…I think my big sis just got a quick jab in at my demanding catitude along with thank you meows...MOL! Today I’m bringing you a heroic story that is on the freekibble site after you answer the cat trivia. No pic today though since it wouldn’t let me copy it.
~SOLDIER AND CAT SAVE EACH OTHER IN AFGHANISTAN~
Stationed in an Army base in southern Afghanistan, Sgt. Knott noticed one day that a feral cat who roamed around the base was limping and bleeding heavily. He lured the cat into his office with a piece of steak and spent the next seven months caring for the cat he named Koshka. The two bonded quickly. Sgt. Knott nursed Koshka back to health, while Koshka comforted Sgt. Knott during the certain danger and emotional toll of war. When it was time for Sgt. Knott to return to the states, he wouldn’t leave Koshka behind. He explained to KPTV how he worked with a local Afghan interpreter who agreed to, in an extremely risky transport, take Koshka to Kabul. Weeks later Sgt. Knott learned that the cat (and his Afghan chaperone) made it safely across “God knows how many Taliban check points,” to Kabul, where Koshka boarded a plane bound for the states. The $3,000 Sgt. Knott’s family forked over to fly the cat home was worth every penny, they said. While Sgt. Knott is currently stationed in Washington state, Koshka is now safe at home with Sgt. Knott’s parents until the pair can be together again. The Oregon Humane Society recently honored Sgt. Knott and Koshka with a 2013 Diamond Collar Hero award for their incredible story of friendship.

Day 1
Thank you so much for asking me to run for COTM. I am so honored. This is the best bunch of kitties and I am so happy to be with you all.
Some of you might not know but I am a show cat. I have been in seven shows starting in Jan 2011. We don’t go to all the shows but it’s nice just to have mommy and me time. I’m going to tell you a little of how I felt in the shows, some of the rules and you can come to my gallery and see some of the pictures from the shows.
I have won 5 rosettes and mommy put up a shelf for me to display my rosettes and my pictures are around the shelf with my pretty rosettes around me.
Just so you know , you don’t have to be a purebred to be shown. I’ll tell you about that first, mom has me in the category of HHP( Household Pet). I will get into some of the purebreds afterwards if I have some time. I go to the CFA(Cat Fancy Association) shows. My last show one of my mom’s furriends gave her a booklet for the TICA(The International Cat Association) shows. They are starting to go to those shows too. We’ll read the booklet and let you know a little about those shows too.
I hope you enjoy my catpaign and that I can answer your questions about the shows. I know there are a few of you out there that go to shows too. Tomorrow we will start off with my first show, how I felt and some background.

♥ With so many things that has happened in our family, we haven't really had the time to share an email that mom received from the Moderator Crystal in response to an email mom sent her about adding new Rewards for our CC points.

It has been a long time since CC and the other Channels since they have added anything new in the Points Rewards for us to use our points. Any idea if they will be adding new items so we can use our points to purchase things? Like toys, beds, etc for our cats/dogs?

Hi Lillian,
I am not sure. The sales department is in charge of finding out those. My suggestion is to contact companies you’d like to see rewards from and send them an email or letter letting them know that you’d love to see them participate in the CatChannel.com/DogChannel.com Club Rewards program. And then send them a link to the Rewards catalog page so they can see it. We hope that if companies hear from their customers more they’ll be more willing to participate.

♥ Mom has been cleaning and washing laundry for the last couple days for 2 reasons:
1) Cuz our house really needed it and....
2) Cuz we are having KAOMI'S 208341 Momma & Dad stopping by to meet us all on their way back home!!!! Some of us will be happy to greet them then others will run and hide!!!! You can find Sassee underneath dad's comforter on his bed!!!! Tehehehe!!!!

Happy hump day everyone & thank you for your visits, comments & votes you pawed my way yesterday! Fasten your seat belts kitties (MOL) because there will be a strategic bump & hairpin turn in the campaign trail today as I navigate away from the lane of recently discovered species into the realm of the recently extinct, which will then carry me into the courtyard of some of the most endangered animals on our planet starting tomorrow to wind things up before our final campaign zoo trip this weekend! Everybody buckled in? Okay then…let’s get rolling!
Every day, a few plants and animals go extinct! The time has come to think about this even more as humans & climate changes continue to destroy the concept & natural flow of nature’s food chain. The creatures I’ve featured today all went extinct since the year 2000 so are only a sample of what can, or has, happened when their habitats are changed, food sources disrupted & ‘alien’ animals enter their once tranquil territories. You can see their pics in my gallery!
~MADEIRAN LARGE WHITE BUTTERFLY~ (extinct: 2007) Once upon a time, this magnificent white butterfly flew in the humid subtropical forests of Portugal's Madeira Islands. The gorgeous butterflies had a very limited distribution, as they lived in a very rare type of forest. Researchers believe that pollution from agricultural fertilizers and deforestation could be the reasons for their extinction.
~SPIX'S MACAW~ (extinct: 2004) The spix’s macaw, the world’s rarest parrot, disappeared from the wild recently. Also known as the little blue macaws, it was the only member of the parrot genus Cyanopsitta. This magnificent bird, which came in various shades of blue, was endemic to the state of Bahia, Brazil and the Caraibeira Riparian Woodland. Though some of them are still participating in captivity breeding program, they have been declared extinct in the wild.
~PO'O-ULI ~ (extinct: 2004) The po'o-uli, or honeycreeper, was endemic to Maui, Hawaii. Predators, a decline in food sources and habitat loss are all thought to have been responsible for the beautiful bird‘s demise. By 1997, only three individuals were known to exist. Later, in 2004, the last known male bird also died in captivity.
~PYRENEAN IBEX~ (extinct: 2000) In 1980, about 30 Pyrenean ibex were reported to exist. With the death of their last family member in 2000, they were declared extinct. But, this was not the end. Scientists worked hard and brought them back into existence through cloning. Sadly, the cloned ibex also died due to lung failure. Native to the Pyrenees in France and Spain, no sightings of the ibex have been reported in recent years.

From what we can discover it looks as though you & Chico are both eligible for another COTD badge. After going through almost all of your pages we discovered that you got your badge on 2/13/2008 & haven't gotten another one. Chico won his badge on 2/29/2008 & also hasn't gotten another one since then...or at least not that we found. Please don't be too surprised if either of you are mentioned in a shout-out one of these days when we don't have any special event kitties...MOL! Have a pawsome day! ♥ I have been going through mild anxiety attacks the last couple days and this morning it lasted a few hours. Mom tried to hold me, but I didn't want that!!!! I did finally calm down and went to sleep on the couch.
♥ Sassee 10605 seems a bit better as not meowing so much, but the swelling of her front legs looks to be not much change. She also wasn't so anxious to lick her Arthritis gel this morning. Mom said if it gets to where she quits taking it then mom will return it to Dr. Liz and go to pill form.
♥ Mom scooped the litter box on the patio then emptied the old litter out then brought it in to wash plus she did our big litter box in the front room then she towel dried them then air dried for awhile then put new litter in the one for the front room. Afterwards, Mom stripped dad's bedding to wash, then dusted knick knacks, pictures, cleaned the mirror and swept the floor in dad's bedroom then she started in the front room with dusting everything on the top hutch part of her desk and the big mirror on the wall by her desk then she dusted more things in the front room. She will probably vacuum and such Thursday morning.
♥ We have xcellent news as dad's nephew called him and said he will pay to get mom's car fixed and they can pay him back in small payments. Mom will call the tow company in the morning to haul mom's car to the shop. Dad called and cancelled their Bible Study for tomorrow. We will have more news next week to share.

Well, mom is still feeling pretty ill. She is in her kitty jammies, but she said she will probably get dressed and go to the ER later if you tummy troubles persist. She was awake all night last night with pain and only a few hours sleep. I guess it's good mom is not working right now.
We are a bit chilly today, it is 44* according to the Weather Channel, but mom's laptop weather says it is 37*...so who do you believe?
Them Wings are doing well. They beat Phoenix last night 3/2. Kelsee is so happy. Anaheim and Phoenix both thought playing them was gonna be a 'walk in the park' according to the announcer, but he said the Wings sure proved them wrong and now they realized they are a team to be reconed with.
Yesterday mom was so disappointed...she turned on TV wanting and expecting to see "MacGyver" on Cloo for the Monday marathon, but instead of him they were airing "Psych"...mom hates that show and thinks it is so retarted. Why show that?
Oh no, what did that UPS man bring mom?? We watched with anticipation as she opened the large box <we knew it was gonna be ours>, and then she started taking parts out of the box and then --are you ready for this? Mom got another floor monster, this one isn't as loud and it is really nice. It is a Eureka Upright that has a Hepa Filter and a hose and all kinds of attachments to clean floors, curtains and furniture and NO bags...mom kinda likes that idea. She has to replace the filetr every 6 months and the belt when it wears out.
Well, mom ended up NOT going to the ER. She got lost downtown and gave up and caught another bus home. people are not too nice and mom doesn't trust very many men...one offered to drive her to the Medical center, but mom was very leery, so she just said no....she is gonna wait and see if she can get a ride with a friend so she doesn't have to go alone.
