Education: I seem to be the only kitty who has figured out how to be picked up whenever I want. I just climb up Pop's pants leg. Then he yelps and picks me up right away. ~~~ COTD on 5/26/08 (Thanks, everykitty) ~~~ ACOTD and CROTD on 3/22/11 (Thanks again).
My favorite tricks and treats are: I'm working on a few tricks. Does eating more than the other kitties count as a trick? I gobble up all kinds of canned food and I like little tidbits of human food better than the commercial treats.
Where I hang out: anywhere and everywhere
My favorite grubs: I've been hungry before, so I am not finicky. I prefer wet food though.
My pet peeves: I like to be fed ON TIME. You listening, Pop?
What I love about my owners: I know he loves me and would never abandon me like my former owners did.
My cat hobbies: I play with the toys more than the other kitties do. I get a real kick out of writing to my friends on the cat channel

How We Met
This poor little kitten, his siblings, and his mother were all left behind when their former owners moved away. Although his momma still roamed the old neighborhood, a car had killed one of his littermates. Thus, Pepper became the newest addition to a household that already had its quota of cats. (Sometimes you just have to bend the rules.) As a young cat, he was friendly with all of the other kitties and was fearless around the two dogs. ~~~
Pepper, as a healthy, robust, and active kitty, surprised us by suddenly falling gravely ill in mid-March 2011. His suffering ended when he was allowed to go to the Rainbow Bridge five days later (3/21/11). Rest in peace, sweet kitty.
