I finally got here! Dad has been sick, then the computer got sick, then Dad got sick again. That simply means that I haven't had as much time on the computer as I needed. 70 and rain for the next 2 days. Dad took a nap on the couch and felt some tugging on his hairy chin. He opened his eyes and saw two big eyes looking into his as Ole Gray was licking his chin. Dad jumped, OG ran and dad went back to sleep.Dad forgot to put our food out last nite so we woke him early, all 4 of us outside his door, singing to him.He fed us and almost got taken down in the feeding frenzy, with Zippi going from dish to dish pushing the others away.Situation Normal at the rancho. HI Gierys
Dad brought in his prize catnip plant to cut up and dry for us. He set it on the porch as the phone rang. He talked and made some calls and when he remembered the plant and went out to get it, the plant looked like a buzz saw hit it, the pot tipped over and dirt all spread around,and chewed leaves everywhere. He went thru the house and found 4 of us upside down sleeping, with dirt covered paws. Case closed, dad loses again. Dont forget Cleo and we always leave a vote for you. This morning, we knew how Frosty the Snowman felt! Brrrrrrr! Mom got up early, but all of us kitties stayed in a snug spot. Even Ole Bullet the hunting dog snuggled down in his blanket on the couch, and he's was not moving either. Dad said Ole Bullet was afraid if he got up, he would have to go outside for a walk! Happy New Year!!! We hope you're enjoying 2008 so far...MOL...Mommy's busy playing catch up at work. We're going to try sneak bogs in through out the day. Hopefully we'll be all caught up by the weekend. Little 1 got in trouble over the weekend. She now can jump on the counter and then onto the cabinets. She was knocking stuff off onto the floor. Oh and it was 2:00 in the morning, so it was keeping mommy awake. Little 1 was not be quiet at all. Mommy was getting mad at her, so she got squired with water. Of course it took several times of this before she got the hint. We think she'll do it again. She can be a little brat.

Hello and thanks for the visit & vote. So sorry it has taken a few days to paw back to you but Aunt Pams hand has been playing up again and we haven't been able to get back to anybody. Here's hoping you all had a great New Year start and are all well and enjoying yourselves. Sorry also that this is a C&P but we all have a lot of catching up to do. Our weather has been unreal up in the 100's plus, way to hot for us kids, mum tried to keep everyone cool with the air-con and fans going, but it is summer we suppose. Taz has been counter walking and showing her sibs this great art which gets dad very mad. Dad caught Zippi and OG walking the stove and sink. and Missy sleeping on the counter.Taking items out of the dish strainer and depositing them on the floor. After repeated squirting and NO NO's. Dad put scotch tape in rolls, sticky side out about 30 of them all over. When he came in Taz had 2 on her tail and one one her paw. OG was fighting with one on his tail. Missy had 2 on her side and of course Zippi, Tail paws and side of her little cute face. The tape is still up there but we all decided no ,more counter. Those tape things are hard to fight. PLEASE PRAY FOR TIGGY'S #50370 FAMILY
Please pray for Tiggy's #50370 mama's kids. She rushed her daughter, who is 6 months pregnant to the ER last night at 11 pm, she was bleeding and in terrible pain. She was told she is in pre labor and has a urinary tract infection too. They said it doesn't necessarily mean she will go into active labor. Mom got home at 6:15 am lied down for about an hour, then got a phone call from her daughter in law that her son had a seizure. It is not his first and thank God he was at home. Mom is going to make me a big ham , and give me a present early!!!! I am so excited!!!! Thanks to all my very special friends here on CC!! To mark this special ocasion, I would like to read my favorite Christmas Book to you all, it is called: "The Night Before Cat-Mas" by Virginia Unser:
TWAS THE NIGHT BEFORE CAT-MAS WHEN ALL THROUGH THE HOUSE NOT A KITTEN WAS STIRRING NOR CHASING A MOUSE.
THE STOCKINGS WERE HUNG BY THE CHIMNEY WITH CARE IN HOPES THAT ST. KITTYCLAWS SOON WOULD BE THERE.
THE KITTENS WERE NESTLED ALL SNUG IN THEIR BEDS WHILE VISIONS OF CATNIP DANCED IN THEIR HEADS.
MA TAB WITH HER WHISKERS AND I IN MY CAP HAD JUST SETTLED DOWN FOR A WINTER'S CATNAP.
WHEN OUTSIDE THE HOUSE, CAME SUCH NOISE AND SUCH STRIFE, SO STARTLED WAS I THAT I USED UP A LIFE!!
I JUMPED TO THE WINDOW AND GAVE A SMALL "MEW" I PERCHED IN THE MOONLIGHT ENJOYING THE VIEW.
THE SIGHT OF THE SNOWDRIFTS SO COLD AND SO WHITE, MADE ME PURRFECTLY GLAD TO BE INDOORS TONIGHT!!!
WHEN, WHAT TO MY WONDERING EYES DID APPEAR, BUT A FELINE-SIZED SLEIGH AND EIGHT TINY CAT-DEER, WITH A LITTLE OLD DRIVER SO LIVELY AND FIT, I KNEW IN A MOMENT HE MUST BE ST. KIT.
SO QUICKLY THEY FLEW AND WITH SUCH GRACE THEY CAME!! THEN KITTYCLAWS SMILED AND MEWED OUT THEIR NAMES:
NOW FELIX! NOW PATCHES! NOW, MITTENS AND MUFFY! ON, TWINKLE! ON, WHISKERS! ON, TIGER AND FLUFFY!!
DON'T WAKE UP THE COLLIE! WATCH OUT FOR THE WALL! GO ON PAST THE MAILBOX! AND TRY NOT TO FALL!! AS KITTENS WILL POUNCE ON A FAT BALL OF STRING, TAILS ALL A-TUMBLING, READY TO SPRING, SO UP TO THE DOOR FRAME THE FELINES ALL FLEW WITH A SLEIGH FULL OF TOYS AND ST. KITTYCLAWS TOO. AND THEN IN A TWINKLING I HEARD BY THE DOOR THE SCRATCHING AND PAWING OF EACH LITTLE CLAW. AS I DREW IN MY HEAD AND WAS TURNING AROUND, KITTYCLAWS CAME THROUGH THE DOOR WITH A BOUND. HE WAS DRESSED ALL IN FUR FROM HIS HEAD TO HIS FEET AND HIS WHISKERS WERE SPRINKLED WITH FLURRIES AND SLEET.A BUNDLE OF TOYS HE HAD FLUNG ON HIS BACK AND HE LOOKED LIKE A PEDDLER JUST OPENING HIS PACK. HIS EYES-HOW THEY TWINKLED! HIS WHISKERS-SO MERRY! HIS TAIL WAS SO FLUFFY, HIS NOSE LIKE A CHERRY! HIS DROLL LITTLE MOUTH WAS DRAWN UP LIKE A BOW, AND THE FUR ON HIS CHIN WAS AS WHITE AS THE SNOW; THE STUMP OF A PIPE HE HELD TIGHT IN HIS TEETH, AND THE SMOKE IT ENCIRCLED HIS HEAD LIKE A WREATH; HE HAD A BROAD FACE AND A ROUND LITTLE BELLY THAT SHOOK WHEN HE PURRED LIKE A BOWL FULL OF JELLY. HE WAS CHUBBY AND PLUMP, A RIGHT JOLLY OLD CAT, AND I LAUGHED WHEN I SAW HIM LOOKING LIKE THAT; A WINK OF HIS EYE AND A FLICK OF HIS TAIL: I KNEW OUR STOCKINGS WOULD BULDGE WITHOUT FAIL; HE MADE NOT A SOUND; HE WAS SILENT AND SWIFT. EACH OF THE KITTENS WAS GIVEN A GIFT. HE WASHED HIS PAWS QUICKLY, AND, TWITCHING HIS NOSE, HE GAVE ME A NOD. UP THE CHIMNEY HE ROSE. By now you know why dad put the Christmas tree up in the yard.mol. We are all being good for Santa Claws. Dad says, we have two cat trees, sleeping beds, tents and cubes. A tunnel. There is 3 kinds of food, treats, catnip, and chewy stuff. We have a box full of toys, balls, squeaky mouses and ducks. What can he buy us for Christmas. We want a new Coon brother. Dad went out shaking his head.A big cardboard box would be nice with a roll of TP in it. Meow. The sunshine gang.With a vote. What's meowy at your house? We are celebrating our Nana's birthday today. We gave her a sweatshirt that says "My Grandkids are Pawsitively Purrfect". She loved it and said it's very true! My momcat just got off CC this afternoon, blogging for Midnight to announce Midnight's beau, Sunny #30287. Then momcat got 2 new party invitations to go to, both in the evening also. My momcat says her December calendar has no more room to jot things down on!! Mom will be warming up Mapquest for directions I guess.
