HE LOVES IT, NO MATTER HOW LONG OR SHORT THE RIDE IS, HE LOVES IT! HE SITS ON MY LAP OR ON THE SEAT OR ON THE DASH TO GET COMFORTABLE! HE LOOKS AROUND AND OUTSIDE THE WINDOW JUST LIKE AN EXCITED CHILD ON AN OUTING FOR THE FIRST TIME! THE MOST SPECTACULAR STUNT HE'S DONE MANY TIMES, HE WOULD WALK THE DISTANCE WHERE HE USE TO LIVE, THAT WAS 1/4 MILE AWAY AND WAIT FOR ME TO GO PICK HIM UP SO HE COULD HAVE A RIDE IN THE CAR! HE CONTINUED DOING THIS EVERY NIGHT FOR ALMOST A YEAR! NOW I JUST GIVE HIM RIDES SO HE DOESN'T DO THIS ANYMORE. HOORAY!

MY GIRLFRIEND JUDY, LIVED NEXT DOOR TO ME. SHE RAISED SIMBA AND PRECIOUS FROM TINY KITTENS. WHEN JUDY DIED OF CANCER, ONE OF JUDY'S DAUGHTERS MOVED DOWN THE STREET ABOUT A 1/4 MILE. AFTER ABOUT 3 1/2 YEARS, ONE OF JUDY'S DAUGHTERS ASKED ME IF I WOULD TAKE IN PRECIOUS AND SIMBA, NOW IN THEIR OLDER AGE. I AGREED. NOW ALMOST 4 YEARS LATER, THEY ARE FAMILY AND I LOVE IT AND SO DO THEY.

When we had our terrible thunder and lightning storm a couple days ago there were some damages around town. Over 1000 homes were without electricity plus the signal lights were out, too. An unoccupied semi-truck cab was hit by lightning and totaled it out. There was also a tree at a cemetery that was struck and made it look like kindling.
The other night on our local news there is this 26 year old woman who was arrested for animal neglect of 63 animals which includes 40 horses; 4 goats; 2 parrots and over a dozen cats and dogs. Get this, they were not all hers neither.
Claws & Digs:
I fought with mom big time twice on Monday cuz she put some stuff on my mouth that she uses on Patch 12767. Mom had to hold my back legs between her legs, my front legs and paws with one hand and try to put that Gel on my chin. I was squirming to get away and got one paw loose and scratched her jaw but no blood and dug my back paw claws into her leg. With doing all this she still won the battle and got that stuff on my. Mom didn't get hurt hardly at all.
Mom’s friend called her late last night and told her about one of her kitties, Simba 42896 that when she got home he had blood dripping from his mouth and he wouldn’t let her look less she wanted her hands and arms tore up. Mom went over there with some of Patch’s pain medicine to give him a dose. Her friend told mom to be careful and so mom was able to give him a dose. Her friend said she will call a vet today.
I heard mom and dad talking about giving us pawdicures on Wednesday. Mom also is talking Frontline time, too.
Mom gave our doggy sister Carly 11000 on DC a haircut, bath, blow dry and combing today.

~:*:~ER Day For Mom~:*:~
We are coming by xtra xtra xtra xtra late tonight as so much has happened today. Beside mom taking Velvet 10732 to the ER Veterinary Hospital early this morning, which she is staying inside for a few days so mom can give her her medicine but the neighbors came over about 5:30 tonight and asked mom if she could take them to the ER human hospital so mom did that and that one is much further about 12 miles one way. Their toddler got his thumb shut in the door by one of his siblings. He is ok but will lose a thumbnail. He was a brave little human boy and never cried.
Awww Simba, I'm flattered, I really am for you wanting me to be your girl but as you know, as your momma has seen that I'm in love with Sylvester. Mom says there's nothing she can do about that (it wouldn't do her any good if she tried) for him being much older than me but she says I'm not allowed to have anymore boycats that old or older. Please don't be upset or hurt but we can be furiends. Would that be ok with you???

On the local news last night The Green Hill Humane Society here in Eugene, Oregon announced they are having a "Buy One Get One Free" kitties. They are over run with kitties as we're sure so many other places are. ~*~ Did you watch "Nature" on PBS last Sunday evening???? Mom did and she couldn't believe her eyes. There was actually a kitty on there that looked just like our NeuBee 123633. It was awesome to see as even the coloration looked like her. BTW, NeuBee is still improving each day. We thank you all for the prayers and love you show us. Oh Mom, she's doing just fine as well. Her hand is healing quite fast with no problems. ~*~ Here's a Knight Gang "Prayer" vote for you. Well, all of us inside kitties got Frontlined on Friday morning. YUCK!!!! ~*~ Suezee 11528 did a lot of "cribbing" on a box bed in January. She chewed the whole box up and mom finally replaced it with a new one. She started to crib on it but mom keeps telling her to stop that. Any suggestions on why Suezee would do that???? ~*~ Sweet Pea 13197 no longer sleeps on the patio as Sylvester 11567 always chased and fought with him. Mom worries bout Sweet Pea as he isn't in a warm spot like the patio but mom knows where he sleeps and fixed it to help him stay warmer. ~*~ Mom cleaned the potty box on the patio, looked around the back yard for any kitty piles and cleaning up, she also took pictures of the outside kitties, she trimmed the rose bushes in the front yard then took the garbage and recycle out today. ~*~ Mom posted a new profile picture of me today with a little saying and also one of me licking a Lickitty and two new pictures of NeuBee. ~*~ With all that the Knight Gang leaves a "tiresome" vote for you. Mom was battling with the raccoons again last night. When she looked out the back door there were three raccoons on the patio table so mom went out to chase them off. Then she came back to the computer so we could continue our time at King Sippies Masquerade Ball. Again there were noises coming from the baby monitor so mom looked and this time there was one part way in Velvet's 10732 house with Velvet trapped in there and another in the water bowl and mom rushed out to chase them off again. Now back to our time. Later, here she goes again outside with a coon part way in Velvet's house and again with Velvet in there and the other one was in Aunt Samantha's 15442 bed. Mom had it with them and stayed out there for quite sometime making sure they left the backyard. Velvet was ok but she was scared as was Aunt Samantha, too. Mom checked out Teakee 25544, Sausha 22506 and our mama Baby 13286 to make sure they were all ok as well. The raccoons never came back last night. ~*~ New update on NeuBee. Mom tried the laser light on NeuBee last night and he went crazy for it. NeuBee is a very active and playful kitty. Personality is much different than the other outside kitties as the others do not play so much like NeuBee. ~*~ Today was another pretty sunny day but not near as warm as yesterday. OMG!!!! What a surprise to wake up to being Cat of the Day on 1/06/2009. You should have seen mom though, she had some watery eyes seeing me win. Mom just bought us a new treat on Monday called "Lickitty" at PetSmart and I just love it!!!! Our furiend Queen Mu 9976 had told us bout it. Plus, my beautiful sweet loving girlfriend Sissy Lee 6454 came back from her two week vacation on Monday and now my third COTD win. What more could a guy want???? Isn't Life Just Purr*fect!!!! The bestest surprises come when you least xpect it!!!! Thank you my friends for your support and most of all your loving furiendships. Thankx for the delicious yummies and gifts, too. THANK YOU FOR YOUR PRAYERS
Mom did not see me eat, drink or go potty since I came home from the vet yesterday. It was such a warm 65 degrees and mom had the windows and sliding door opened which we all enjoyed the fresh air with the fragrance of the Daphne coming through the screens. After the door was closed and bathroom window left open for awhile longer is where I laid til I got down and window was closed. The fluids and antibiotics made me perk up just a little but mom is still worried this morning. Last night before mom turned in she had to get me from upstairs for the night and I ate very few kibbles. Mom hasn't seen me go potty or drink as of yet. She is keeping a close eye on me. We just want to THANK YOU for your prayers and thoughts for me. Mom is happy that I now weighed in at 16.2 lbs. There is a picture of me and mom in the vet room with me getting fluids. 198 STEAK & DECISIONS
We all got some Prime Rib Steak as treats yesterday and I ate just a little tiny piece and that's all I wanted and Bahneetah didn't want any of hers' and walked away. They others enjoyed theirs' very much. Not much happening here so far. Mom and dad took Carly #11000 on DC to the vet yesterday and she has early stage of diabetes. Mom is going to check on some prices and talk to Dr. Beth to see what it will cost. Right now, there's no way they can afford the medicine, monitoring, etc. TT3 on DC suggested Walmart and mom will check it all out before final decision. Here's a vote for you from the Knight Gang. WHY WE WERE NAMED!!! The Finale
FROM OLDEST TO YOUNGEST!!!! TIPPER CLAFLIN: We inherited him about three years ago from our neighbor Duane. Tipper lost his first human momma in 2001 and then his human dad Duane ended up in the hospital. Tipper was being fed and all but he felt abandoned. He laid in Aunt Anita's back yard and in the rain most of the day. She called mom and mom told her that she'd get Tipper. Mom brought him home and put him in our largest dog carrier after she dried him up. Mom took care of him and all. He was giving up life. When his dad came back home and was able to care for Tipper again then he went back home. He didn't want to stay there so we made an agreement with Duane and Tipper now lives with us.; WHYSKRS: Mom named him and dad and Aunt Anita agreed with the name as it was so fitting. Go look at his baby picture!!!! He had long beautiful whiskers when he was a kitten that stood out. He is a recued cat from a grocery store truck loading area. He and his littermates were left in the trucking lane in a box. Store employees took his siblings and he was the only one left so Aunt Anita took him home with her then she called us. You now know "the rest of the story".; PAPPOOSE: Again, mom was at Anita's and they were in her laundry room. I was laying in a bed Anita fixed up for me. Mom knelt down and rubbed my tummy. Then got up and Anita wanted to give me a name. She wanted me to have an Indian name, it started with a W but mom said no. Mom suggested Pappoose and then it happened. This little kitten (me) looked up and meowed. That's it!!! Mom and Anita says that will be my name. I eventually ended up at my now mom's..... WE ALL HOPE YOU ENJOYED LEARNING ABOUT OUR NAMES. FROM OLDEST TO YOUNGEST!!!! SASSEE: Mom named me cuz she couldn't catch me and she thought that I had a sassy attitude and I was full of so much spitfire. Sassee, Jazpyr, Toebee & Thundyr are all littermates and they are the fifth and finale litter of Baby's.; JAZPYR: We don't recall why we named him this other than he was all jazzed up.; TOEBEE: She has a toe with that wasn't white like the rest of her paws so mom named her Toebee. Dad said that's a boys name and mom said no plus she was spelling it differently. You know mom!!!! She doesn't live with us anymore.; THUNDYR: Mom named him cuz he always made thunder like noises. Mom says we shouldn't say as it's an embarrassing story of him. Toebee and Thundyr lives with a single lady who is very nice and loves both of the kits. Mom was calling him LIL' WONDERER but changed it to RHOAMIN as dad thought the name was too big for me to learn to come to. I would always be wondering around just looking and snooping so that's how mom gave me my name. Rhoamin, Sissee, Suezee & Princess are all littermates and they are the fourth litter of Baby's.; SISSEE: Mom would always be talking to one of us and would ask us where our sissy was so that's the name she ended up with.; SUEZEE: My real name is "CURLY SUE" cuz of my tail and the movie. She was about 6 months old when she was killed by neighbor's dog. Sayble, Velvet, Sausha & Teakee are all littermates and they are the third litter of Baby's.; VELVET: Mom named her as well do to her fur looked and felt like a soft velvet. She never got close to mom til after Sayble was killed.; SAUSHA: Mom had no reason but liked the name.; TEAKEE: Just a name mom came out with...... Baby is feline mama and Six, Patch, Sylvester & Sweet Pea are all littermates and they are the second litter of Baby's.; PATCH: Mom named her cuz of the patch on/under her chin.; SYLVESTER: Is named after his feline Uncle SLY aka SYLVESTER (who he was named after the cartoon character) and this is why I'm not to be called "Sly". My Uncle Sly was hit by a car when he was about a year old.; SWEET PEA: Mom had a hard time with him cuz when he was a kitten she couldn't tell so thought he was a she so she named him Sweet Pea. When she took him in with the others to get spayed/neutered she told them she wasn't sure about him. She found out that Sweet Pea is a he. Mom said he already comes to his given name so it stays.... She had more gray in her when she was a kitten and as she got a little older then she started looking more like a tortie. Her littermate is Ebbonny & Bahneetah.; BAHNEETAH: She had a twin that looked almost like her but she disappeared and figured Baby was moving them. Mom named Bahneetah and really had to think of a good name. She had the mask but didn't want to call her Bandit as too many with that name. Then she came up with Bonita, Benita and Banita. He died in August 2006.; SYLVESTER aka SLY: He too, was UNCLE to most of us and full brother to Uncle Sam. He was named after Sylvester Purdy Cat on tv. He was always called Sly.; BABY: She had a baby face look and still does. She is feline mama to most of us.; SAMANTHA: Mom can't recall why she's called that. She had 4 or 5 babies with one survival which was Smudge.; TC aka TOP CAT: He adopted our family about 2001 and he looked like a Top Cat. He fitted in well with the family.; SMUDGE: was named cuz she had a smudge marking on her face but lightened as she got older. She died August 13,2007 from Advanced Renal Failure (ARF). When I was a kitten.....
I would sit up so straight and tall with my head up high…. I guess it was because I was the smallest of my litter…. Mom said I looked like a Queen sitting on her throne. That is how mom decided on my name. Sebastian was someone else’s cat when he was named. His owner at the time asked mom for her opinion. He had a girl’s name at first (before we took him to the vet). Mom came up with and suggested the name Sebastian, because of his quirky personality. Shadow got her name because she was always following mom around. Like a shadow. Mom did something to her right ankle as it hurts her to walk alot on it. She's gonna just try to fix it herself. OK, the pain patches are not working like she'd hope and staying off it. Yea right!!! HELLO SIMBA
We all just laid around relaxing today with mom on the couch. We think that Rhoamin wanted to really check out Sadie but her mom was afraid that Rhoamin might hurt Sadie cuz he's almost three times Sadie's size. Rhoamin couldn't figure out that little tiny yet full grown doggie. None of us seen such a little critter. We woke up to wet snow on the ground on Wednesday morning and it was so cold outside. Me (Sausha), Teakee and mama (Baby #13286) goes home to eat when we're hungry and goes back to Aunt Anita's to sleep on patio swing. Gee!!! Ya think if mom ever got through her thick head to put a covered swing in our back yard we might stay there and sleep, too????
