How We Met
I got Levi when he was 5 weeks old. I kept bugging my husband for over a year if I could get a cat. He kept saying no, but one of my relatives had a house full of cats and were trying to get rid of them so I went over to see the newborn kittens that were only just a few weeks old (there was 7 of them). They said I had to wait a couple weeks for the fact they were just born. A couple days later I got a phone call saying that all the kittens died except one that was hiding, they stayed outside in an old truck. A raccoon had came and killed them. Of course I said Yes! I would take him no matter what my husband what have said so I came to pick him up from where he was and we have been together ever since! He's my lil love and I spoil him like a child cause he's my only child.

The weather was so nice yesterday & suppose to be today so Mom took us out some to watch the birds. Tomorrow & rest of week is suppose to be real cold. A.k.a. Mimi, this darling kitty had a rough start in life and was found by a rescue group wandering the streets of Philadelphia homeless and pregnant. They placed her in foster care. After she had her kittens the irresponsible foster mother ended up abandoning them too! Luckily, the Purrsley mom heard about the situation and opened her door and her heart to Mimi while another foster Mom took the kittens. Mimi and resident Jelly bonded instantly. When Mimi got sick and had to be isolated, Jelly and Mimi cried to each other for days. As soon as they were reunited, Jelly groomed Mimi and her Mom knew she would just have to stay. Mimi is now part of the Purrsley family and has a wonderful home. She loves everyone and they love her back! Please visit this newest celebrity and give her your vote on Sunday for COTD. Last season, you played mouse hockey with us. We currently have most of the good slots filled on our eighteen teams. We are now putting together two to four more teams, so all levels of play are again available. Our MHL recruiting director, Pepper, has given me the task of checking with all of the players from last year who have not yet signed up to play this year. You may have been asked before; if so, I am just double checking. Unlike previous years, we now have minor players who are expected to rarely, if ever, attend games and perhaps blog their teammates only when they have the time and desire to do so. Having merged with the angel league this season, all angels are invited to join the MHL. (This MHL invitation is also extended to your kitty friends.) When Claude was a kitten, someone dumped him out in the rain from a speeding car... Luckily, Claude's wonderful human Mom was right there to find him and take him home. Although adorable little Claude needed some repairs from the vet for a dislocated leg and cataract, he soon flourished with his new loving family. They even learned kitty paw language because Claude is deaf ! This disability has not hindered Claude's athletic abilities, and he is a master skate boarder. He loves to scoot on the skate board with his rear legs! When Claude is not bothering his sister Cassie, he is hanging out on the top of the cat tree or next to his Mom's computer. Today is Claude's day to shine, not that he doesn't shine every day, but we would like to award him with the shiny gold badge tomorrow. You are cordially invited to a memorial service for Little Bit of the Blueberry Hill Gang 16612 on Monday July 21 at 6:00 P.M. (P.S.T.) on the Catpaign and Mews Page 46883. Little Bit's Mom is one of the founders of the Catpaign and Mews Page and she works diligently selling raffle tickets for all the MLH Hockey games. Little Bit's surviving family besides her human Mom and Dad include siblings (16612) Simba, Meezer, Duke, Peanut and dog brother Bullet; cousins Sweetie Pie (32575), Big Black, Bitsy Boo, Goldy, and Angel (70800) and preceded in rainbow bridge crossing by her beloved sister Diva. Little Bit was dumped as a kitten in an unfriendly dog's yard. Her future family rescued her from this mean dog's mouth. She was scared, but not injured, and was brought first to the vet, and then later to Blueberry Hill to live the rest of her life in pampered luxury. Little Bit was born with a hare lip and cleft palate but this disability never hindered her activities which included assisting and supervising her human Mom get dressed and ready every morning. She crossed the rainbow bridge unexpectedly on July 15 from a heart attack. Please join us in a memorial service which is open to all members of Cat Channel. Mr. Jones' furrever family lost their beloved black cat Sammy last March. They took a little trip to the shelter and saw a little black cat named Sambo. He has been at the shelter a long time-- more than two months waiting for his new home. Too long!! Maybe it was because he only has one eye-- no one knows what happened and he's not telling! Sambo went through an official name change to Mr. Jones, or Jonesy as he is affectionately called, and got adopted by the fabulous family of Libby, Abba, Butterfinger, Sniffles and Emmy Jo and two dogs. Jonesy gets along just fine with one eye and is a little love! Please help Jonesy today earn his shiny gold badge by paying him a visit and clicking on his mousey vote box. Hope you and your family had a great July 4th weekend and you were able to get some treats! Thanks for the Happy birthday wish, it was June 10th. but my slow secretery still hasn't replaced my B'Day profile picture MOL! so it is confusing! Hi Levi
Another hot day. Thought it was gonna rain but it just sprinkled & now the sun is shinning. Mom is getting around slow today.She got sun burnt yesterday at Big Splash with the grandkids.So we are just now getting on computer & she said we had to hurry cause its sprinkling & she wants to get the yard mowed cause its supose to rain all day tomorrow. She thinks with a light sprinkle it will be cooler to mow. Supose to rain tomorrow.We need it to cool things down.We sat on the porch & watched it sprinkle & silly Brina would ran out in it & get wet,tee-hee, not me I don't like getting wet. I'm back & I missed my CC friends.It is a hot day today. Mom took us out for awhile but we didn't stay to long .Even in the shade it was hot.Maybe this evening it will be cooler. Hope you had a good weekend. Heres a tuna vote

Princess lee's Newsletter!!!!
MISSING KITTIES! The past few weeks have seen a flurry of missing kitties. It is very distressing to report the following missing kitties. Gandy #25130 is still missing. Saddie 69343 is still missing. Kitties, we were so fortunate that Krystal was found and returned to her Mom safely! Scamper #39429 of the Miami Six was over the Rainbow Bridge when he was found. THERE WILL BE A MEMORIAL SERVICE FOR SCAMPER this Saturday at 2 Pacific Time. We will need to find out if it's at the MHL page #43885 or on Scamper's page #39429. PLEASE PRAY FOR: Bailey's #64021 Nana who has a biopsy on July 17th. The Aussie Kid's #4624 Mom is still sick with COPD and in need of prayers. GOOD NEWS! There are lots of kitties going on vacation during the month of July! We know their families will enjoy much needed vacations! There are many families planning a lot of special activities for the 4th. We hope everyone will have a safe and happy Fourth of July, and be especially watchfull of kitties who try to escape. Kitties I am going to try my best to fill Rhoamin's shoes, and they are pretty big boots to fill. If you have any news, please let me know, and I will try to get in the next news letter. Where ya been? How's your summer going? As you know, ours is busy with packing and moving. But today we all took it easy (mainly coz Mom had a melt-down over how Dad was packing - MOL) had mice ice cream (Mom had cherry choc. chip) and took a nap in some catnip she put down on the carpet. Ginger soaked up the sun-patch by the deck door. Missing you, Levi!
How are you, are you vacationing! Hope you and family are doing well! Sorry I'm just now getting to you, some Capt.I am, MOL! Scamper would not be happy with me. We were so upset over his tragic crossing, Mom cried alot. On a happy note, I am so very proud of you and are whole team and all our efforts to be a great team and the best of friends! Congrats! to all of us! We are now a Historic team! I am sure your family is beaming with happiness and pride! I think we all deserve a big PAWTY with Angel Scamper to be honored in his memory. If it wasn't for his outgoing friendliness and Kiwi's purrsistance I never would have joined, much less took over being Capt. Hope you will be rested and ready to go for our next game.
