His Mom came in one day and met him and thought he was a real needy, lunatic kind of kitten. She fell in love with him! She asked her husband about bringing Casey home, but he was reluctant at first. It took his Mom three months to convince his Dad they really needed Casey! She went back to the shelter and he was still there, although all his littermates were gone to new homes. Four years later, they don't know how they ever got along without him! Casey's two big hobbies are lizard catching and Mouse Hockey League. He was recently appointed as Chairman of the Entertainment Committee for MHL! We can't wait! We are all rescue cats. Elvis and I were both close to being put to "sleep" when we were rescued. I came from a house with 70 cats that was on the news. Elvis was a stray and was in a kill shelter. It was his third day and he got very sick. They killed every kitty in the shelter right after mom adopted him. He almost died , but now he is the biggest kitty in the family. I am the oldest and smallest. When I went to the vet Friday night, I had to get two shots, but the technician was tapping me on the head to keep me distracted from what Dr. Johnson was doing at the other end. She is a female vet, and she checked me out before mom ever met me. All the kitties that were rescued from the 70-kittie house went there before we were placed in foster homes. Hi Elvis!
Do any of you remember about six months ago when mom noticed that one of the kitties was trying to dig to China through the front room wall! There was actually a hole dug right through the plaster board!!! Mom never caught anyone and the "digging" seemed to have slowed down. Yesterday mom came down the steps and caught a kitty with a piece of "wall" in it's paws and mouth. (It looked like they were chewing on it, not eating.) And guess what else? A brand new hole about two inches from where they were sitting! Any guesses who the mysterious culprit was? I'll let you all guess and tell you tomorrow.
