Hi Shilo
Nice day today. Earlier in the morning it was wet and drippy, but then it cleared up nicely and reached 71*...it is very nice out, but a bit windy. Mom was finally able to get us outside when she got home.

Mom had to go to FedEx today and send out some faxes, and she applied for a job at NCI, and picked up some pop at Walgreens.

Guess what??? Mom said if this weather keeps up she is start BBQing soon. Wow...outside food is the best food. That is when the dirty flies stay away from it. <MOL>

Mom planted her Morning Glories today, the envelope said to plant them in May and tomorrow is May, so mom did it a day early...can't wait to see them sprout.

Hey Friend!
Shilo--- had to come visit you! Seems like you get picked on, just like our Zeus! What is an orange cat to do?
We are trying to get out to visit friends, but CC is giving us a hard time. All is well with us. Mom finally got a new charger for the camera, so may get around to posting new pictures, we hope! Also those of past kitties, to go with K.Barney's stories. We kitties are still waiting to see if she finds the old charger, but no telling where we hid it! Mom also has a doctor appt tomorrow to check her blood sugar. She is also a bit concerned about her heart, so we are asking prayers that its nothing serious, just seems to beat faster than normal sometimes, when it shouldn't. She has tried cutting down on caffeine, but not willing to give it up entirely. By the way, she got some good walking shoes and now her knee is much better! Still sore, but not that severe pain she was having! Her back even feels better. Hope it continues!

By the way, Zeus went to adoption at PetSmart, but he is home as usual. He said a very nice older man stopped to visit, but he wasn't quite ready for a new kitty, which we all breathed a sight of relief.

How are you, my friend?...
Today we join our friends in the Prayers Circle for all the people and fur babies that were affected by the Hurricane Sandy.
We had a really bad storm in Buenos Aires yesterday too. Many places were flooded and 4.000 persons had to be evacuated. Our family is all well and safe but Mommy is concerned about the stray kitties she feeds as they were scared and wet.
Three of them reached our laundry room and they stayed inside of it until the storm was over. Mom put blankets and food for them there. She still has not seen the rest of the gang but she thinks they must be hiding.
We´re sending you a huge bunch of whiskers kisses. Happy Halloween tomorrow!!

Sorry you were disappointed that the OC is not the Chicago Wolves but the Rockford Ice Hogs. Some of the AHL teams have very strange names. There is a baseball team near us called the Iron Pigs and Mom thinks that is very silly too. Mom got her walk in early today which was a good thing because we got rain most of the rest of the day. Thank you all for visiting & voting for me on my & Terri's adoptivesary & then voting me COTD and CROTD too! I was very surrprised & honored to again be COTD.

Of course we loved Chyna'a gumbo & Can't get enough of it, along with the t-bone steak & the mice cream & 7 layer cake=just yummy!!

Mom did not help us celebrate the way we wanted to. Instead she took us both to the vet for our annual check up & rabies shot-is that anyway to treat royalty!

Hello Mommy Vivian and all the kitties and doggies at your home!! Mom was super glad to be friends with your brother Tank on Facebook. He´s super cute. We love his face.
It´s a rainy Tuesday over here. Mom came home early today and she thought she would catch up in our blogs as once again, we´re very behind.
We had a long weekend in Argentina and everybody was off work yesterday because we celebrated a national holiday.
Our parents traveled to San Pedro on Friday evening and came back last night.
San Pedro is a cute little town, placed by the river in the rural area of Buenos Aires. It´s only two hours far from home. They stayed in a nice "Bed & Breakfast" place and had a good rest there.
They visited a farm on Sunday named "La Campiña". This place belongs to Mónica & César, two famous Argentine journalists. They were able to meet Mrs. Mónica in purrson. Momma said she was as nice as on TV.
Mom uploaded the pictures of her trip on Facebook. La Campiña has a huge plantation of orange and lemon trees. It also has a big orchard and a lovely garden full of all kind of roses.
We stayed home. Grandpa and Grandma took care of us and we were napping and being lazy most of the time as it kept on raining during the whole weekend.

Ready for some hockey??? I sure am. We are Ice Hogs...is that good or bad, do you think??? Kels is a Griffin and Win is a Hershey Bear...mom likes Wins name...cute. The OC play KCK again in 4 games til the end of the year...if we have to play the farm teams after the 1st of the year, we might play them more....MOL.

It was nice here today...we hit 65* and it was sunny all day and windy, now it is 60*, the sun is down and it is still windy.

Mom let us go outside for a little while, but now we are in the house again and mom shut the back door on us...{How dare she}...she said it is too chilly to leave it open...pretty soon she will put the storm windows in the screen door and she can leave the big door open.

SNICKERS: "Players 'can't give in' to NHL"

KCK forward SNICKERS voiced his irritation over the stalemate between the NHL and the NHLPA, wondering how one side was supposed to negotiate when the other side refuses to budge.

The NHL lockout began Sept. 16 and already has wiped out all of the exhibition games. Next week's start to the regular season is expected to be cancelled this week.

Talks between NHL Commissioner, Gary bettman and PA executive Donald Furh have been fruitless and SNICKERS, echoing many players points the finger at the leagues lack of flexibility.

"We can't really counter what they're offering"SNICKERS said WED after a dozen KCK's skated at the Troy Ice Arena. "It feels right now, like if we don't give them everything they want, it doesn't really matter, and we will never do that."

"It's tough to negotiate with yourself, basically that's what we feel like we're doing. They're not coming off anything, basically on their thing and we {the players} are trying to find ways to make it work. bUT they are sticking to their views, and we think that's just wrong."

This is the 3rd time under Bettmen's tenure that players have been locked out, and SNICKERS sees a pattern. "This is the way he negotiates. We have been through this before and if he stays, we will go through it again. We know how he does things and we've just got to find a way to still make a deal happen. But we can't and won't give in to things that we {the players} really believe in."

SNICKERS is Capt. Henrik Zetterberg of the Detroit Red Wings.

Hello dearest Shilo, Mommy Vivian and all the fur babies!
We had a lovely sunny day and the temperature reached +80F.
Mrs.Pucca and I were glad to have a long napp in our back yard where the green parrots were making lots of noise up on their tree. Those birdies are lots of fun!
Dad´s little oranges tree is in bloom. Mom loves the white flowers on it and we love their smell.
The tree is also full of oranges, they´re bitter oranges. Mom brought Grandma many of them and she made oranges jam.
I hope you have purrfect night and lots of mice dreams. We´re sending you a huge bunch of whiskers kisses and extra special purrs.

Dad says thank you so much on the help with the garage! Mom says may as well build a game room on there for our next pawty, that would be fun with a big tv and a pool table. We could watch hockey and football and eat popcorn.

That's a good side business you got going, Shilo, and I bet Tank is a big help to you. Does he hold the ladder while you pound the nails? I am so glad he is making furriends, he is such a nice doggie. I hope he knows to worship kitties, if not, give him a little paw whack from time to time.

Sure I would love to come to Fredricksburg, the German foodies and beer sound wonderful! Is that where they have the Wurst Fest? Mom has heard of that.

...Mom Vivian and all the fur babies!!
Please, forgive us for taking such a long time in writing back to you. We missed you lots but Mom was not feeling well. She had bronchitis and had to stay in bed for a while. We gave her tons of purrs therapy and headbonks and she´s feeling a lot better now.
How wonderful to read that your have a new doggie sibling!
I bet Tank is super cute!! Mom loves doggies.
We had a very cold day in Buenos Aires. Daddy is having vacations for one week and we´re pleased to have him at home with us all day long.
Our parents tell us the weather is crazy because it´s being so cold when we´re supposed to be getting into spring. (MOL!) We had only +35F this morning. I poked my head out the window and went back to my kitty bed.
Dad was baby-sitting his daughter´s Shih Tzu doggies last week. Their doghouse was installed in the back yard and we were not happy about it. Mom thinks they´re super cute but they keep on barking all day long. (Tee-hee!)
We stayed upstairs. It´s so good to have the house all for us again.

Thank you so much for coming over with the happy birthday wishes! OMG Shilo I LOVE the Hello Kitty Ferrari and Chyna I LOVE the Pink Porsche with purple flames and Himmy I LOVE the glitter purple Lincoln Navigator. I will get Dad busy building me a new garage for my fancy new rides! I can't wait to visit you in Texas and thanks so much for the hockey gear!

We are having a cookout in the back yard and are playing games by the froggie pond and having pony rides, I hope you can stay and have lots of fun today!

We are having froggie races and dad is putting some salmon steaks on the grill. Mom has pitchers of mouseberry smoothies made up. Rascal and the boys are playing poker in the basement and Mallow has a dartboard competition in the other section of the basement. Later we will have dancing in the moonlight under the Oak trees.

wow we had quite a light show at our house last nite, for several hours too, had thunder and lighting carrying on but no rain. the lightning was actually traveling sideways thru the sky a lot more than it was commin down. sure was pretty tho.
some places here had rain and hail but it missed us

guess momma will do more maters this weekend as she has the stuff on hand to make soup

Thank you so much for coming over with your sweet words of concatulations. Mom surely did not expect to see her kitty on the front page today; we think that today should be honoring Angel Aunt Samantha. We are having a low-key celebration and I am passing out black arm bands with tiny pink CC embroidered on them and we will share hugs and tissues with our dear CC furriends today.

I dedicated my badge when mom first saw I was on the front page: now mom decided to put Angel Aunt Samantha's beautiful memorial photo on the front page. I don't need a shiny badge or to be the center of attention when I have such wonderful and dear furriends like you and your family! Those are the real treasures.

Thank you Shilo, so much for the gorgeous diamond tennis bracelet. How did you know I just LOVE ♦diamonds?!? Thanks also for the filet mignon topped with the yummy catnip and the bottle of catpagne! Thanks dear Chyna and Himmy for the diamond necklaces and earrings. I will treasure those always! And the big pot of gumbo is so super, Chyna! i think i will leave momma a message that i will pee on her pillow if she dont get us to the rink tonite.
hhheeeeee. or maybe not. she might kick me outside and close the cat door.
is starting to look like rain here. there is a cold front comin thru and may create some severe storms later today the weather people says.

i will give our team another chance to do better before i decide if i might want to change teams, but i do hate to leave capt easy

well we will be starting our space mapping quest soon it looks like. that should be interesting.

♥Wonderful Mews From Buenos Aires!♥
Hello precious Kaycee & family!! How are you, friends?
Mom & Dad have been feeding five stray kitties for some months. Our parents are re-modelating a house and these kitties live between the park and the residential area.
They come for food everyday. My parents call them "los gatitos vagos" and they named them Miss Sally, Pucco, Lolo, Kit and Naty. Only Kit comes close to our Mom and enjoys being petted. The rest of the gang keep a good distance from humans.
However, the other day, Mom noticed about Miss Sally being in heat and felt sorry for her. She thought that maybe if she could catch her, she could take her to the Vet to be spayed. Mommy didn´t have any experience with stray kitties and we asked for advice to our friends here on CC. They helped us so much and with those tips and patience, my parents did catch Miss Sally this afternoon. She wasn´t happy at all and hissed like I never seen before. (MOL!)
She will be having her big girl surgery tomorrow. She´s spending the night in the laundry room at Dad´s home. Mom put a cozy blanket for her there. We´re keeping our fingers crossed hoping everything turns out well for her as my parents love these stray kitties.
We think Miss Sally is not happy to be indoors and we´re not sure if we are going to be able to socialize her, but at least, she will not be pregnant all the time. She is a young girl. She looks like our Sally, that´s why my parents named her that way.

Hey Shilo!
Hope you get rain soon. It is raining here now. Mom took a sick day this morning as there was something under the sink scratching to get out at 5 AM. I was sniffing around. The scratching went on for over 2 1/2 hours. It's an old house. Something must have come up from downstairs. Mom put a big box in front of the sink so it couldn't push open the door & called the landlord. Not sure what it is but it doesn't belong there! Mom didn't want it running through the apt & hiding somewhere so she didn't want to open the door. It must have gone down stairs because the scratching did stop but she didn't want to be the one to check it out! Still waiting for the landlord. Great way to start the day. Mom wanted to know is tank a aquatic turtle or a land turtle, or something like that. Her sister had a turtle once that was not an aquatic turtle and the vet said he was in water too much and shell got mushy. Not to bad today, it is 84° and 38% humid and not a breeze in site.

No need to pay anything for staying with us. You are always welcome. Mom has plenty of food, she uses coupons and buys the sales. She enjoys having you here buddy. So don't worry about that. Sorry we couldn't make it to practice last night. CC was really bizarre here. Very frustrating as we wanted to come & see our friends! Beautiful day. In the 70's and no need for any fans! Awesome! Oh I see the pic of Tank swimming in his swimming pool.
Today it is 99° with 33% humidity. All AC's are running full blast. Mom leaving in the morning to go to Penn. with Aunt Sandy. We will be left with dry cat food. Mom only going to be gone a day. But we will still miss her. TIMMY

Sure thing! Mom said you can stay with us anytime you like. You are always well behaved when you are here. Come on over. Mom woke up in the middle of the night and heard it drizzling outside.
