Hi' there ,this is your neighbor from Burbank.
How is your weekend ? We sure didn't get much rain like they said we would have . I just read your story how you lost sight of your good eye. ,It really touch my heart. Can I ask you what street that vet is on. You don't have to tell the person name. Just the street. I have a good vet . Well, anyway that I like. Mom, says that has been her vet since 1989. And she would never go anywhere else. They are all nice. And the vet even treats mom like family.

My Mom is so hurt by your story. She just can't believe someone would do that and not take responsibility for it. Mom and I both hope that you are doing much better and pray that the people responsible will pay one way or another. Thank you for telling your story. Bear. Come visit me, Bear.

Hi Everyone! This is Frankie and here is my story
Well you know I had the one bad eye and the Dr. said it had to come out, I had PERFECT vision in the other eye, was assured that I would not miss the bad eye and would have a great normal life. My Mommy was very worried the day of the surgery, she says something just didn't feel right - and boy was she correct. My Mommy asked that a certain nurse not be a part of the surgery and this person was still used. After I came out my good eye was very dialated and the Dr. said it would go away in about a day to a week. Well it never did. Apparently I kept waking up during surgery so the nurse apparently kept cranking up the sleeping gas until she FINALLY realized that there was a leak in the valve. YIKES...After a week the Dr. said she thought something may have gone wrong and I would be completely blinded for life. The nurse blamed the Dr., the Dr. says it may have been almost anything and we'll never know...No matter what, no responsibility was ever really taken for this. The bill came Mommy and I were shocked it was for alot. Mommy was crying cuz she didn't have any money... so the Dr. dropped the bill to 1/2. This was good, what was bad is,
Mommy worked for this Vet and they didn't show proper compassion or respect at times which was hurtful and hard for her. I needed a babysitter for a few months while she worked and our lives were turned upside down, but we are working on it!
Well Mom sold some things and paid the bill and we have moved on. I wish there was legal help for these thngs but animals don't have real rights.. My Mommy is so cool - she has loved me since day one and has done so much for me since all of this has happened -her selfless sacrifices have been a blessing for me. No-one wanted me because my bad eye was sort of ugly, but she saw past that and knew what a great boy I was on the inside!!! I LOVE HER SO MUCH! She does anything and everything for me and I pay her back with all of my snuggly love and kisses. She has tried so hard to give me a normal Kitty Life. We play in the yard together everyday, I chase her around so people think I can see until Mommy tells them I'm blind. Well now you know my story. I sure hope you have a GREAT DAY! and keep in touch - I am hungry so Mommy is giving me some fresh Tuna - YUMMY!!!! Cya later, Frankie!Come visit me, Frankie & Miss Sally Cat.
