My Dear Fur Friend ♥ Shadow....
I hope your Mommy had a wonderful Mother´s Day with you, Cinni and her Mom! Thanks a lot for wishing my Mom a happy day too. Here in Argentina we celebrate Mother´s Day in October, but since most of our friends were celebrating on CC, we gave her tons of extra special purrs!!

It´s raining outside but it´s not very cold. I´m watching through the window while Mom writes my kitty letters. The cars pass by with their lights over the avenue and people walks with their umbrellas. We tried to blog yesterday but CC was super slow.

Dad gave my Mom a new BlackBerry cell phone a couple of days ago and she´s been chasing us with its camera! She loves taking pictures of us. MOL! Mom tells not to close my eyes when she´s about to take a photo of me. Tee-hee!
Last night she caught me yawning in my kitty bed; I meowed at her to let her know a lady must be ready for a photo!

We´re waiting for Grandma to come back from work and have supper together. We´ll be helping Mom to cook in a little while.

Hope Mom gets her book finished by wednesday. And hope she has a very happy birthday! Getting a late start again today. Mom saw the surgeon this morning. He is pleased with her progress & will see her again in six weeks. She will continue her PT. The landlord came today & finally mowed the lawn! Boy was it high. Hello Shadow
How are you? Thursday I visited Dr. William for my annual checkup, blood work (CBC, 6-panel, T3 & T4), shots and 3-month Schirmer eye test. First the good news – my eyes are doing well.

Mommy’s intuition told her something was going on with me, so now the not-so-good mews. I am in the very early stages of kidney disease:
My BUN level = 38 (normal is 16-36)
My Creatinine = 2.6 (normal is .8-2.4)

Dr. William says we caught this early. For now, we are going to treat it by changing my diet to Prescription Diet k/d. So far, I am eating both the k/d canned and the k/d dry food. We will recheck my levels in 3 months.

I also have a UTI, so I am taking Clavamox, the wonder drug. My thyroid level (T4) is in the “grey area” so Dr. William sent some of my blood to Texas A&M so they can run a test called T4 by Equilibrium Dialysis. We should receive those results next week.

As you can imagine, Mommy is very upset, stressed, & worried about me. Please keep us in your prayers.

.....Happy early Birthday to your Mom! My Mom and Dad are sick this weekend so they'll celebrate together next weekend. Mom's kids are all out of State - Michigan and Georgia. Her daughter was here last weekend so that was nice. Mom flies to Michigan again on the 23rd! Treat your Mom well, she's a sweetie!

I´m so sorry your weather was so chilly and windy and that your yard sale had to be postponed.
Momma saw your Mom´s picture with her new hair cut on FB and she thinks your Mommy looks very pretty with it.
We will be keeping our fingers crossed for your Mom and her book hoping she has success trying to get it publised.

We had a windy and quite cold day in Buenos Aires and I have been trying to stay over Mom´s lap as much as possible. Momma says I´m very chilly and that´s true, I have to say.
I don´t like when the floor is cold and I complain about it all the time. Mom puts me over my blanket or over her bed but I purr when I jump over her lap. She says autumn always has a couple of cold days and lots of rains. MOL!
Momma went to the Pets Shop after work and bought our dry food, she also brought Sally and me some chicken and cheese treats. She told us we can´t have them all at once, but I´ve seen where she keeps them: they are in a pink box over one of the kitchen counters.
Sally and me went on a special mission to sniff it and it is well locked. I wonder if there´s any way to open it without Mommy´s help... Tee-hee! I will have to think about it.

I hope you have a super purrfect Monday and a wonderful week. I send you tons of sandpaper kisses and warm hugs.

Awww...that's too bad that your yard sale kinda got rained out! It's alot of work putting one together and a bummer when the weather doesn't cooperate. Sorry you're having such windy rainy weather. Mom had that kind of weather the whole time (2 wks) up in Michigan visiting her family. She always has a good time with family and friends, so the weather didn't bother her. Her travels are just beginning. She heads up there again at the end of this month. Her son's family with one grandson is up there and she loves spending time together. Asher is 2 yrs. old and reminds Mom of her son at that age - too cute.

Sounds like a cute new hairdo for your Mom. My Mom's hair is way too short - the hairdresser talks too much while cutting it - LOL! Mom pays the big bucks to get those curls your Mom has naturally!

Hope she has good luck with publishing her book! Writing and reading has to help keep her mind off of her heartache. My Mom has been creating a scrapbook for my Angel brother, Dusty. She made Angel Tuffy one, but had to wait to do Dusty's because all she did was cry. Dusty is her heart.

Cute picture! So very sorry about Mom's yard sale! That stinks! It's alot of work setting up & then getting bad weather & few people coming by is very upsetting. Hopefully next time the weather will be good. Screwy weather. Going up to 71* today and down to 39* tonight. The apt is cold, 66*. Mom put the portable heater on when she got up but now has turned it off. The brick building retains the coldness. I am sleeping in front of the bedroom window & Dean is inside the recliner. Good evening fur friend Shadow!! I love your new profile photo!! How are you doing?...

My Mom is definitely runing my social life. MOL! Yes, my mischievous Mommy is always telling me she has to do this, she has to do that... She needs to understand she is MY secretary and that I need her to write my kitty blogs!! I´m happy she´s home this evening. I just jumped over her lap to make sure she is really going to write my letters. (Tee-hee!).

We had a nice weekend. Our parents visited a marriage of Peruvian friends as the lady was celebrating her birthday. Mom told us they had a great time and she kept on talking about all the yummy food in the pawty. Too bad we didn´t get any of it.

The weather was lovely and sunny although it rained on Saturday night. After the rain we noticed about some little bugs in our food dishes. Mommy said they were ants and that they come with the humid weather. Sally and me saw them and started to meow load to alert Mom. We wanted them away from OUR food. Momma was not happy about them either. She changed our food and moved our dishes to another place. Then she washed the floor with a nasty fluid and told us they were gone for good.

Mom and Dad are looking forward to Wednesday when they will be off work since we´re celebrating Labor´s Day.

♥ Mom woke up early this morning with a very tired and sore body. Her and dad basically took it easy other than mom taking care of us and also gathering the garbage and yard debris then taking the containers to the curb for morning pick up!!!!

♥ Mom and dad will be back to their busy days again starting Monday. Mom says we will be getting lots of cattery time this week since we are suppose to have Summerlike weather all week!!!!

♥ K. FIDEL 14733; TONANTZIN 14732 & CHE 14734 as their sweet momma SARA CAZARES went to her Forever Sleep yesterday (4/20/2013) morning from complications follwing a stroke she had last year. Sara was a very active momma with her husband, 2 sons, 3 fur kits & 1 doggie as well with the schools and politics. She was still a young woman at age 48. She also used to be very active on CC. Many of us old CC timers were close to Sara and her kitties.
We are so sad to learn of her Forever Sleep and she will be deeply missed!!!!
Please keep this family in your prayers.

Good evening dearest ♥ Shadow!!

I´m so glad to read Cinnamon is feeling a lot better.

Mom will be busy over the next couple of days as she will be working double shift at the Hospital. I would like to hiss to her boss, since I don´t like when she comes home late. MOL!!
I´m now making sure she helps me to write my kitty letters because I know she will not have much free time left later.

It was pretty cold this morning when we woke up. Mr.Sun was shining but it was windy. Sally and me were napping until late and then Mom gave us some tuna treats she bought on her way back from work. They were yummy.

Mom´s Grandma is staying home with us during this month and that means we are never alone. In fact, we have Grandma and Great Grandma to spoil us 24 hours a day. Tee-hee!! I like curling up over Great Grandma´s lap while she seats and watches TV. She rubs my ears and I purr.

How was your Easter? Ours was “eggstra” special because The Easter Bunny came to see us. He brought us a Kong catnip carrot kicking toy & two Yeowww catnip carrots. Sissy kinda likes the Kong toy, but MerryBelle & I were not too impressed!

We are excited because today is Opening Day for Major League Baseball. As most of you know by now, we are HUGE Chicago Cubs fans. Hope springs eternal on Opening Day each season but we foresee another dismal season for our beloved Cubbies.

Have a fun April Fool’s Day. Glad Cinnamon's leg is better.

I´m so sorry to read about Cinni. I hope from the bottom of my heart she´s feeling a lot better these days. We´re sending her a huge bunch of healing purrs...

It´s so good to be back purring with you and the rest of our friends!! How are you?...
We´re all doing great. Our parents came back from their vacations last night and we gave them tons of whisker kisses and purrs. I jumped over Mom´s lap and kept close to her ALL the time.
I helped her to upload the photos of her trip on FB. Mom says everyone is welcome to see them. I had to cover my eyes with my paws when I saw many pictures of Momma and Dad petting other kitties and doggies... (Tee-hee!) I guess I can´t leave my parents going on trip alone. My Mommy is mine. MOL!
Our family is now getting ready to celebrate Easter. My Mom´s Grandma is staying home with us and we´ll be having a nice lunch on Sunday along with Dad´s relatives too. Momma will be cooking and just in case we´re not able to come back before Easter, we want to take this opportunity to wish you a very Happy Easter and to tell you how much we love you, dear friends.

The Easter Bunny came by today
and left surprises along his way.
Colorful eggs are all around.
With baskets in hand we search the ground.
Hiding in places here and there
Easter eggs are everywhere.

Thank you for coming to my Happy Birthday pawty. Mommy says it is hard to believe that I am ➐ years old already. It seems like just yesterday that I was a cute little six week old kitten, and now I’m all grown up & weigh over 15 pounds. No matter how big or old I get, I will always be Mommy’s little baby boy,

Good morning. Mom is divorced so is no stranger to having her heart broken. Very sorry your Mom's boyfriend was so dishonest with her! I know that is very hurtful. ♥ Purring Back!!... ♥
Good evening dearest Shadow!! It´s always wonderful to hear from you and from your Mommy. I´m sure she will find the right man for a date one of these days.
Sometimes it happens when you´re not expecting it. That´s what happened with my parents, they started to date after more than one year working together.

I´m very happy to be purring back!! We were off line during the weekend because our parents had guests at home. Mom spent Saturday morning cleaning and cooking and then she went to have her hair and nails done.

Our weather has been really nice, sunny and warm. Mom´s summer vacations have officially started today. I enjoyed sleeping by her side until late this morning and so did Sally. Mom & Dad will be traveling to San Carlos de Bariloche next Saturday. They will be staying there during 10 days and Grandma is going to take care of us.

San Carlos de Bariloche is placed in the south of our country, in the province of Rio Negro. Mommy is very excited about this trip and even if she´s going to miss us a lot, we´re going to be very spoiled by our Granny.

Mom's not on CC much at all, so we're sorry we didn't see your posting sooner. This winter she's creating (2) scrapbooks for her life with Angel Dusty. It's a bittersweet endeavor. Monday her sister arrives for a 2 week stay - fun, fun!

Laci fits into our home very well. We adopted her about a year ago now. She's a real beauty - a blue bi colored Ragdoll.

So very sorry Mom's boyfriend was so lame to not have the decency to be honest with her. She deserves much better than that! Now she can get on with her life. Sounds like a real lowlife to do such a nasty thing. We are keeping Mom in our prayers. Many thanks for continuing to keep Mom in your prayers. She appreciates it. One day at a time. She is doing as well as can be expected. She does her exercises every day and today managed to vacuum. It wasn't easy but she pushed it in front of her walker. The floor was a mess! My Dearest Fur Friend ♥ Shadow...
I´m so very sorry to read about your Mommy´s boyfriend. I know you and Cinnamon are keeping close to her, giving her lots of purrs therapy and kitty kisses. Mom says your Mom needs to be strong, your Momma´s boyfriend is really wrong acting that way. He should have told your Mom what was going on. But MerryBelle is right, with time her heart will heal and she will find the right person to share her life with.

Mommy said we´re getting some winds from the south of the country. I´m not sure what that means but the temperature dropped down a little bit and we are glad about it. We had a sunny day and it was about +85F.

Sally and me were busy trying to catch a fly that got inside the apartment through the living room window. I saw it and thought it had to be MINE. Tee-hee!!
I can´t understand why Mom doesn´t let us to catch any bugs. She takes them away from us. I´d like to hiss to her but I forgive her because she is my Mommy.

Hi Shadow
How are you? I am doing really well after having my teeth cleaned last Thursday. Mommy was the nervous one. I am brave, Mommy not so much! Now my choppers are all white & shiny! I am still sleeping a lot, mostly in Nana’s lap. That might have a lot to do with our weather.

It has been raining here since yesterday & is still raining today. We are under a Flash Flood Watch. We are supposed to receive between 5 and 7 inches of rain from yesterday through tomorrow. Unreal. Yesterday we were under a Tornado Watch all day until 11 p.m.. Several tornadoes touched down in south Mississippi yesterday. The biggest one was in Hattiesburg which is about 2 hours south of us. It damaged over 300 homes & buildings and more than 60 people were injured. Mommy’s alma mater USM (University Of Southern Mississippi) was heavily damaged. The news said it looked just like when Hurricane Katrina came through there. So sad to see so much destruction and lives changed in an instant. Please keep everyone affected by those tornadoes in your prayers.

Good evening fur friend Shadow!!
Mom and I thought we would write a letter to all today,so we can finally catch up in our blogs.
We apologize for being gone during the entire weekend. We missed everyone more than we can ever tell.
Mommy is feeling a lot better these days. Dad (and all of us kitties!) have been spoiling her. Yesterday our parents went to China Town where people was celebrating Chinese New Year. Mom told us they had a very good time and that they enjoyed seeing the parade of dragons across the streets. Momma also said there were lots of Maneki Neko kitties everywhere. She loves those cute kittens!! MOL! They are adorable with their tiny greeting paws.
We are so glad because we´re having a long weekend in Argentina. We´ll be celebrating carnival on Monday and Tuesday and our parents will be off work.
Grandma is coming back home tonight and we´re looking forward to see her!!
Our parents are baby sitting our former foster kitty, Miss Muni, while her parents are having vacations. Mom was very happy to have her home again. She has turned into a pretty lady kitty although she is smaller than us.
It´s now raining and we´re hoping our temperatures drop down a little bit over the next coming days.
Here is a super special kitty kiss along with lots of warm purrs. It´s so good to be back!!

HELLO SWEET SHADOW & FAMILY!!

I´m so very glad to hear from you!! We haven´t been much on CC over the last couple of days either.
It´s summer time in Argentina and many people is having vacations, including Mom´s pals at her work. That means she has been working extra hours almost everyday. MOL!!
We´re still having super hot weather, +105F and looking forward for some rain tomorrow.
Grandma is really lucky to be spending summer at the beach. We´re all getting ready to go to bed. Mom tells us this has been a loooooong day for her and we are always happy to curl up with her on her bed ( preferably over her legs or around her pillow, no matter how hot it is... I really mean it!! Tee-hee!! )

What’s mew with you? We are having a pawty here because today is Mommy’s birthday. We gave her 3 stackable diamond Eternity bands – one from each of us. One ring is yellow gold, one is white gold, & one is rose gold. She says we give the purrrfect presents! (Thanks to Nana for her help.) Mommy had 3 b’day cakes (see pics) a Butterfinger ice cream cake, a red velvet cheesecake & a traditional b’day cake. Can you tell Mommy loves cake?!

We are fine too. Sorry Mom has not heard from her boyfriend in awhile. Hope she hears from him real soon. Love your new picture! That cat bed looks very comfortable. Mom was in the dentist chair for 75 minutes and came home with a temporary cap for her top molar. Whole lot of drilling going on! MOL. The dentist said she was an excellent patient! She will have to go back for the permanent one. Getting really cold tonight and for the next 2-3 days. Won't go up over 24*! Hope there is no snow too. Leaving a vote. Peace & love. I´m so glad to read Cinnamon, you and your Mommy had a wonderful Christmas!!
Momma and I ask you to forgive us because this is a c/p blog, but we´re very behind and we want to visit as many friends as possible. Happy belated New Year 2013!!
We have some wonderful news to share with you. We had very special guests at home with us during this week.
Maggie´s parents (#223639) came to Buenos Aires. They met Mom & Dad and they met US too!! You can see a photo of them with me at the bottom of my page. I loved Mom Irene and Dad Bob. They were super nice with us. They rubbed my belly and gave me lots of cuddles. I purred and gave them headbonks.
My Mommy was more than glad to meet our friends!! She celebrated her birthday yesterday and it was a very special one. Dad cooked a barbacue for our American friends and we all had a great night together. CC is an amazing place, a big family. We have met the nicest people ever here. Mommy has always dreamed of meeting our friends and she had the best gift in the whole world sharing her birthday with Maggie´s parents. We will never forget the days we spent together.
We´re sorry for being off line for a couple of days. We are now back and Mom will try to catch up in our blogs.

Hello fur friend Shadow!!
I´m glad to hear everything went fine with your visit to the Vet. Mom has been super busy over the last couple of days too. We´re happy your Mom and her boyfriend were able to spend some time together.

Santa Paw came a little bit earlier this year and brought me and Sally a new scratcher with colorful feathers on it.
There are only a couple of more days left to Christmas Eve and we´re helping Mom to get things ready to celebrate.
As most of the times, I´ve been busy supervising everything. I´ve been specially curious about some bright little packages appearing under the tree. They have very interesting ribbons and I´ve been sniffing them. I even gave them a couple of headbonks too. MOL!

We are excited❣ We have been getting the FF ornaments for years so this one will be added to our collection. Did you receive one?
