How We Met
George was a pound kitty. My son got him about seven years ago at the Denver Humane Society. He actually didn't live in Colorado Springs, but in Arvada, Colorado. Just a few days before Christmans, George developed a sinus infection and started to deteriorate quickly even though one of his people was a vet tech and started treatment immediately. When they took him to the vet, they discovered that he had a mass around his heart. He crossed the Rainbow Bridge two days after Christmas. My son, who is a Navy veteran and an ex-cop, cried.

ACOTD VOTE TODAY FOR ANGEL NORMAN #139431..It is 18F feels like 1F WC with 1 in of snow later..1) Cats must attack the other cat when its head is sticking out of the litter box..2) Cats must balance their 25 lb body on their human's full bladder..Cheung's 2nd Law of Cat Landing..A cat will always land on its feet unless you are unpacking groceries, in which case it will land on your feet...ANGEL K.C. #16691..1st Crossing Anniversary..JAN 7TH..GIN GIN 12433..sick..went to vet...RHUDY'S MOM 124539..sorer now than she was yest.after fall..SHAI'S MOM 21930.. sick for 2 mos- feels better now (had to up her meds & is going on a much needed vacation..BOO KITTY..154855..gave Boo pills at home..& got it all down her. had a little diarrhea , but none during night, so held off on the anti-diarrhea pill until later in day. talked with her vet - pleased with her progress, she ate ALL breakfast- & really likes that Forti-Flora, too!!. she has just had such a heavy bacterial infection that it's taking longer to get her well..FELICITY'S MOM..92039..is better but not up to sitting at the computer very long.. MR. FEZ #10242 .He spent New yrs at Animal Emerg Clinic! - dev urinary obstruction Sat. night and Mom rushed Him into ER.- promptly admitted to ICU, sedated, catheterized, hooked up to IV fluids, got ultrasound (which showed a sl inflamed bladder wall ,tons of sediment,- (bloodwk ok, urine showed bld & crystals). - this is the 3rd time he's had probs since end of Aug, both ER vet & my reg vet brought up the poss of perineal urethrostomy surgery. is pretty extreme but considering his history, Mom is seriously considering it...AUNT SAMANTHA 15442 3rd eyelid completely closed over her eye. On antibiotics, ear solution for earmites & Prednisolone. .UPDATE: OUTSIDE & HAPPIER .. GOT BIG CHUNKS OUT OF EAR..SPIRITS ARE GOOD..*KITTZI 160203 & SYLVR TUFF 160205..Both girls home & recoverying. All went well & NO pregnacies.; NOT EATING YET BUT DID DRINK A LITTLE WATER. .*SIR LEO'S 129433 ..Dad's had 5 surgeries within last 9 yrs on knees & both are acting up; unable to drive RV w/caddy & car. ALSO: their daughter facing lots of issues. P. K. 's Mom wrote a beautiful story in his profile and we copied here for you: "Mom rescued me and my sister Gabby from a group of 30-40 cats and kittens. I was a very active kitten, and Mom had me declawed when I was a few months old because I kept bouncing off the walls and leaving scratches on them. Even though it nevered bothered me, Mom really felt guilty about it and she said she'd never do it to a cat ever again. I had a wonderful life with my Mom and Dad, but I developed some health problems as I got older (I always had a heart murmur), and finally, one day the vet told Mom I would probably only have about six months or so left to live because I had something called CRF and my kidneys weren't functioning well. But, I fooled him...I lived another two years, thanks to lots of TLC, medications, and the sub-Q fluids that Mom gave me. She says that the day I told her I couldn't go on any longer was one of the saddest days of her life. But, someday we'll see each other again. VOTE FRIDAY FOR ANGEL JUNE #34620 FOR SAT COTD
One day a beautiful solid gray kitty came into the Georgia Gang's yard. She was fed a meal, and decided to stay. Since she looked like one of the resident cats, Mr. Kitty, they named the new cat Junior. Imagine Mom's surprise when Junior had 4 kittens! Junior was renamed June. Mom took all four kittens and June inside to be part of the furrever family. Time passed, and the kittens grew up and started trying to boss their kitty mama June. She would hiss at them as she taught them kitty manners! June became Dad's favorite and waited for him to come at night. One night he came home, but June did not come running to greet him. When he found her, her spirit had gone over the Rainbow Bridge. When Mom came home, they both began to cry. They could not understand why June had left them. She was young, she appeared to be healthy. The family was heartbroken. Friday, will you help honor sweet Angel Kitty June #34620. ...the Rainbow Bridge - hope you're have a good day chasing butterflies! On the other side of the Rainbow bridge our animal friends wait for us. Yes, you are right!! We tabbies are the best!! My Mom brought home a sister for me the other night!! set her down and of all things she ran up and tried to kiss me on the nose!!!
