DUSTY, 9/3/10, My precious brother & Heaven's Brightest Star. I miss and love you. Mom and my heart aches for you!
TUFFY, 3/25/10, Heaven's Sweet Angel - Always in my heart. I love you brother.
My favorite tricks and treats are: When playing with a cat wand, I like to get the string between my teeth and hold on for dear life, so that Mom can't pull it away. I'm very good at this!
I love playing ice hockey with ice cubes sliding on our hardwood floors. and Favorite treat: Catsip milk. Temptations - any flavor
Where I hang out: On the foot of Mom's lazy boy chair down by her legs, esp. when she's blogging on the CC or on the back of her chair. I also like to hang out on the underside of Mom's lap desk. It has nice "beans" to snuggle down into.
My favorite grubs: Fancy Feast and a mixture of dry food.
My pet peeves: I'm afraid of thunder and little people with fast feet!
What I love about my owners: From Ginger: Mom has this special way with cats. A soft voice to soothe, a gentle hand to pet, plus a heart overflowing with true love. Because I'm so small, she protects me. With a love like that, I can't help but give tender love back to her. To me, this home is Paradise!
From Mom: Ginger is a ray of Sunshine in my life. She's very sweet, precious, and brings so much joy to me. With rewards like that, I'm grateful to share life with Ginger on a daily basis. I count it a real blessing to have her! Since Dusty's been gone, Ginger started doing many of the same things he did. She's been there to comfort me in ways that melt my heart. She's precious - oh so precious.
My cat hobbies: Cuddle with Mom in her chair or snuggle with her at night. I follow her around like an orange shadow. I feel very close to her!

How We Met
My Mom volunteered in our local no kill shelter (Safe Haven for Cats in Raleigh) and saw me at 3 months old. We bonded instantly. I'm very small and only weigh 7 pounds! I needed surgery on my knee before I went to my new home and my new Mom paid for it all! Now, I'm just fine with no knee problems. Thank you Mom!

Hi Ginger!
Thomas knocks on Gingers’ door shortly after Valentine's Day begins on the East Coast. He then slides his home-made Valentines Day card for her under the door, and makes a bee-line for the waiting cab to take him to the airport so he can fly quickly home.

^~^CHARLOTTE’S MEWSINGS^~^ DECEMBER 27TH
I had a beautiful Christmas with my family... still haven’t opened my Christmas stocking, but I can see crinkle balls..catnip mouseys..fuzy critters.... I’m gonna wait until Mom’s not looking, and then hide all of the toys in my favorite hiding places! I have a new water fountain, too, but I’m not sure I can trust it....those gurgly sounds are scaring me!
***Today I’m going to start sharing your pawsome naming stories!
Our first furiend who shared about his family names is SIMBA of the BHG #16612! HIs Mom has long thought that when cats and kittens are named, they tried best to live up to their name! So SImba was named to signify that he would someday be King of The Jungle! And that is exactly what happened! BIG BLACK was named for a local river when he was only 10 days old, and so very tiny. He too, grew up to justify his name! At one time he weighed 20#! His littermate Bitsy Boo Boo is the smallest kitty Mom ever had, weighing in at 4 pounds. Angel and Sweetie Pie have personalities that are closely related to their names!
MERRYBELLE “appeared” at Mom’s house just before Christmas 12 years ago, abandoned by her family when they moved away. So Mom named her after the “Happy Holiday” song that includes merry bells (#6569) Then on December 1st, 2001 another kitty appeared at Mom’s house...a “SISSY”for Christmas! Casper Todd was first named Chloe Blue cause he looked just like his momcat Phoebe! But it turns out he was a boy cat, so Mom named him Casper after Casper the furiendly ghost & added Todd because Todd Walker was Mom’s favorite Chicago Cubs baseball player!
FUZZWORTHY ‘S Mom was in a dept. store, & drawn to a Boyd’s Bear stuffed kitty with fur sticking out all over! Name on the tag was Fuzzworthy and Mom thought if she ever got a kitty with lots of fur/fuzz,--- she’s name him Fuzzworthy #53825! So Fuzz is worthy of his fuzz! TUFFY was a foster cat in Mom’s home and he and his brother were very sick. Mom had to nurse them back to health. Because he was a “fighter” Mom named him “TUFFY” and adopted him. He was tough and had the will to live. GINGER is named for her coloring! DUSTY is named because it looked like he came out from under a bed with dust all over him!
GINGER SPICEGIRL has a wonderful story, too! She didn’t have a name when her Mom brought her home from the shelter. But as the days passed, her feisty personality started to shine through, she had a loud voice - MEOW! and was quite lively! So Mom’s sister, Carol, suggested Spicegirl, and her pawrents thought it fit her well! But they also wanted a name with nicknames, too, so they picked one of the Spicegirls, Ginger! So now Ginger Spicegirl is also known as Gin Gin, GInge, Gin GIn the Engine, &The Spice #12433!

Thomas leaves the special valentine he made while the Fl Fab four were visiting and beats a hasty retreat.

LOVE your Avatar. Your talents are remarkable - we are jealous. Yes, because not only do you have artistic talents but your way with words is unsurpassed. You went right to our hearts with your message to our precious Aiden. Mom especially appreciated your comment about the sparkling orange gemstone 'cause one day we all will be together again.
I heard through Mom that once again you are being your Mom's comfort, which, between us girls, I knew you would do. I know all of you are hurting along with your Mom for Dusty. God has strengthened His umbrella over all of you to now include rays of peace.
