Where I hang out: I love to sleep on the black sofa and the beige chair. If there is any sun shining, I like to stretch out in it.
My favorite grubs: Food; I like to clean up the milk that is left in my Daddy's cereal bowl each morning.
My pet peeves: I don't like other animals; brother and sister included. I like my space--don't touch unless I say it is okay.
What I love about my owners: She feeds me!
My cat hobbies: I love to EAT!! Sleep and lay in my daddy's lap.

How We Met
Tru'De's mother was at my husband's work; she was pregnant. I didn't want to risk something happening to her so my husband brought her home. Tru'De and one of her brothers were born in the back of my car as I was driving home from my grandfather's. He had kept her mother (Samantha) while we were out of town. Her other two brothers were born in a box that had been prepared for them in our downstairs bathroom. Friends took the others and we kept Tru'De.

Dear cc member,
My cat whitiker has been making my family happy for almost 9 years. Ive been preparing for his Birthday on March 22 for weeks, and have finally decided to get him a few packages of his favorite treats, along with build him a collar with all of his achievements stamped onto it. It is coming along nicely, but i believe it would be amazing if my dream for him could come true and he could become the cat of the day on march 22 of 2012. it would be awesome if one of his achievements could be an honorary, earned cat of the day badge. It might just help him to realize just how awesome he really is. We're sad to learn that you now are at the Rainbow Bridge. Honey, you lived 17 years and that's a blessing in a cat's life. I hope your passing wasn't hard and long, like so many older kitties experience. I'm in renal failure and told Mom I'll hold on for as long as I can! President Kiwi is aware that there are some teams that are not functioning as effectively as desired. We are in the process of training or making changes to line-ups where necessary. Kiwi asked me to send this brief survey out to team members, so that we may improve all players' enjoyment of the game. Please help us by sending your replies to ME asap, preferably on Monday. We hope this finds all our members having the beginning of a PURR-FECT weekend! We would like to start by giving our new Red Hat Sister, Cocoa Puff [#4765] a warm welcome. Coke, as her friends call her, made the move from New Jersey out to Arizona this past fall. Please keep her Dad in your prayers as he undergoes a quadruple bypass and possibly an aortic valve replacement on Monday. We want to thank Miss Ginger Spice Girl [#12433] for doing such a wonderful job as COTM for April. We're excited that our own RHS sister, Tonantzin's [#14732] brother, Fidel [#14733], is our new COTM. If you haven't already done so, please congratulate the King of May! Birthday wishes go out to my sister, Amber Lee [#31874] who will be celebrating her first birthday along with her brother, Cody Lee [#31875], this Sunday, May 4th. Dear Tru De
As April ends, I thank each of you for honoring me with the Cat of the Month award. I have been proud to serve as Miss April and humbled by your confidence in me and the many kindnesses you have shown me. It has been a whirlwind month. First, I awoke on April Fool’s Day to learn I had received the honor of COTM. The next day was my parents’ Silver Wedding Anniversary, and later this month, I turned 9We have had many joys to celebrate. Most of all, we are blessed with the support of CC kitty families. New kitties reached out with the paw of friendship, and old friendships were strengthened. When we visit your sites, each kitty’s sweet face always brings a smile to my mother’s face! The month was also tinged with sadness as Juice, Onix, Sherman, Larry, Tinkerbelle and Stashu crossed over the Rainbow Bridge. I hope I did not miss anyone. We continue to honor all precious angels and pray for comfort for their families. Please also pray for healing for little Schnitzel #22527 of the Cottenbelly Farm gang. Our prayers for Gabby # 59885 of the Green Mt. Gang have been heard. She is starting to feel better and is looking forward to her 21st Birthday June 1! Little Benny #50347 continues to heal and become stronger with each day. His sister, Sneakers, 19, is remarkably holding on! Her family hopes she will make it to her June Birthday. We keep them in our prayers, along with healing for Sterling #8232, whose 4th leg cast is finally off. Happily, Spirit’s mother, Kay’s Dad, and Blackie and Mousey’s Mom are all home from the hospital and recuperating, as are Inky’s and Smokie’s Dads. Princess Oreo’s Mama is still on crutches, healing from a fracture. We thank the Fabulous Fidel #14733 for keeping us both entertained and updated on CC needs. My Mom and Dad were in a pet store one day walking around and I saw them. Something in my heart told me they were my furrever loving family. What could I do to get them to notice me? I tried meowing but there were 6 other kitties in the cage with me and they were meowing too! Mom and Dad walked up to the cage. This was my last chance! I had to do something to get their attention or they would leave me in this cage! Oh no! I was desperate! Suddenly, I had an idea! I climbed to the top of the cage and hung from the roof UPSIDE DOWN! Spunkie was a beautiful Tuxedo kitten who was taken to PetsMart for Adoption Day. All day, Moms, Dads, and children walked by and some picked out a kitty but Spunkie was not chosen. At the end of the day, he was returned to his foster home. The next Adoption Day, Spunkie was back at Petsmart, where all the people just walked right on by him. He tried reaching for them, talking to them, and standing up on his cage. But no one chose Spunkie and he was carried back to the foster home. This day was repeated several times, and Spunkie kept getting passsed over. Just when he was beginning to think no one would ever pick him to be their very own, one of the PetsMart volunteers picked him up and held him close. She told him he had stolen her heart! She took Spunkie #11712 home with her and now he has a loving furrever loving home with his fur friends Hopsing and Munchie! 264 GOOD MORNING, TRU'DE
I was much, much better on Saturday and meowed at mom not so much. I still slept with mom all night and walked on her. It turned out to be a record breaking 84 according to the weather person but at our house it was 87. Mom worked in her flowers for a while. She tried to lay on the couch in the afternoon to rest but OH NO Pappoose wanted mom to play ball with her so mom did. Mom also planted some Pet Grass (Oats & Wheat) in a big planter that will go in the cattery once the grass is sprouted good. Mom had dad put this huemungous box in the cattery for us, too. It's sooo cool!!! Mom's keeping her eyes on Samantha #15442 now as she laid in her bed most of the day. She usually lays in the sun during the days. Quincy's Mom went to look at Chip but when she was told the boys were always together, she couldn't bear to separate them. She brought them both to their furrever loving home.
