Education: He was quite a jumper. He could even jump straight from the floor to the top of the refrigerator. He was also trained to go outside, hooked up on a long leash. He was also so big, some people would think he was a dog when they saw him from a distance. COTD 2/7/09!!
My favorite tricks and treats are: None that I can recall and He liked Pounce, and tuna
Where I hang out: He would spend a lot of time in my brother's room, on his bed, and sometimes in my room.
My favorite grubs: He was particularly fond of Whiskas cat food
My pet peeves: just the vaccuum, i think. he was quite the laid-back, relaxed kitty
What I love about my owners: kindness, and food
My cat hobbies: eat, sleep, lay around, go outside

How We Met
We bought him from our Avon lady, whose cat had had kittens. She told us he was a Himalayan, and we believed her for a long time, but as he got older, and we did some research, we found out that he was really a Ragdoll. He lived to be an old man - 19 years old. He finally got so old, his nervous system deteriorated, and we finally had to have him put down.

HAPPY APRIL......
hello to all and welcome April and FINALLY looks like SPRING HAS SPRUNG for us here. Mommie was just about to go packing her bags for some place called KOKOMO because that has been all she has been singing for WEEKS!! Said that is where we all want to go to get away from it all!! She had a great birthday although it was NOT like it was this time last year when the weather was very warm and nice and sunny. It was COLD and DAMP and RAINY!! But the past two or three days have loosened up and boy is it going to get really warm the next few days too. Mommie is very pleased!! Yesterday was her and Poppies wedding anniversary too. Mommie said they have ben together for 28 long years. Wow that is many days and nights with the same person. But I hope I spend that many more years here with them and even more too. Mommie was down at my human sisters though so she and Poppie didnt get to spend it together. My human sister is making arrangements for a GIANT pool for the summer. Mommie said just more headaches and worries with the two Grand babies but hopefully the way they are fencing it in and putting gates and locks on it will be safe. 30 foot is mighty big around and 4 and a half foot deep. Mommie said it would come to her chin and she hoped she could feel the bottom because she never learned to swim but maybe in this pool she will be able to at least learn the doggie paddle. Well I want to thank all of you who voted me once again for the COTD on April first, and for those who also sent me well wishes on my adoptiversary on March 31st as well. I have been here for 6 years now and Mommie says she wishes it was just the beginning again because she hates seeing me grow up and getting older. Well, Mommie says time to move along so I guess that will end my blog catching up for the day. Love to you all and thanks again......

So sorry for the c/p, but Mom is so slow, er, computer so slow that she would never get finished if she didn't resort to this.:) It by no means, takes away from your kindness as it means so much.

Hey Angel Gizmo!
Good morning! So sorry Mom has not heard from her boyfriend in a month! That is a long time! I'd be worried too. Hope all will be well with her car for a long time. Mom fractured her kneecap 1/28 & had surgery. She is home using a w/c and walker now & getting PT. Responding to blogs from 2/9/13. Mom is determined to try to get several days of blogging finished over the weekend. We are tired of being so far behind. Thanks very much for your prayers and good wishes for Mom. She is doing well. Therpy is progressing and she is working hard on her exercises. Nothing else is new. Mom is here all the time. We are providing purr therapy and support. Hope all is well with you. Leaving a vote. It's a wonderful life
Philip Van Doren Stern (1900-1984) began a short story, The Greatest Gift", in 1939. He was inspired by a dream, and reminiscent of the 1843 Charles Dickens' Christmas Carol. Stern shared 200 printed copies in 1943 with friends as a year-end cards after numerous publisher rejections.
Luckily, the pamphlet came to the attention of a RKO movie producer who purchased the rights. Frank Capra's production company saw the movie potential. He paid $10,000 for the rights in 1945. Stern's story was adapted into the most loved and memorable American family film, "It's a Wonderful Life" in 1946. Director Capra's inventiveness, humor and affection for human beings keep it glowing with life and excitement.
On Xmas eve, George Bailey's guardian angel shows him all the lives he touched and how different life in his community would be had he never been born. Although George repeatedly sacrifices his dream to travel the world, he realizes "No man is a failure who has friends."

This precious furbaby was just starting to enjoy life when a fire broke out at the family home that took the lives of all the animals on a cold January day. She was adopted shortly after her mother had crossed the rainbow bridge when she was just a young kitten. She lived for many years in her happy furever home until the angels called her home on August 1st of this year. Scoop. Surprise Angel Catpaign Today..
From the cloud of the Angel Sherman…SURPRISE CAMPAIGN FOR ANGEL LOLA #227723! This beautiful girl was picked up at a breeder’s on 5/22/2004 after the pleas of her young owner finally reached the ears of her parents. Lola & her newfound furiend played together all of the time. She got pushed around in a baby carriage, had special princess parade events & birthday celebrations, plus she helped open her young owner’s birthday gifts. She was the purrfect listener & sat very attentively as her mommy talked about any troubles she was having. At the end of 2011, Lola started getting sick & she was called by the angels on the night of October 14. She’s dearly missed by her young mom & we’d like to help honor her life & the joy she brought to this young cat lover by asking all of you to slink quietly by her page today (Friday October 19th) to paw her an ACOTD vote. 1285 Honoring Your 6 Year Forever Sleep, Gizmo

~*~MY STORY & XCITING NEWS~*~
EUGENE, OREGON WEATHER REPORT:
The temperature was high 56 & low was 50 this morning, now it's 54 with humidity 90% & wind is 6 MPH SW. Saturday's suppose to be Rain & High 67.

First, I want to say Thank You for coming to visit with me during my 9th year Adoptiversay! Wow! NINE whole years with my forever family & it's the best thing in life knowing what love's all about!
Boy, did I put mom & dad thru the wringer when the adopted me! They didn't know what they got themselves into til it was too late after taking me to the vet when I was only about a month old. I was diagnosed with RINGWORMS which meant mom had to give me baths with special shampoo daily, give me meds & the worse part was that I had to be isolated from everyone. I had to stay confined to a big plastic crate & in the guest room. Mom would come see me lots, but she also had to clean the whole house daily with bleach as well as laundry. This went on for about 3 months. Rhoamin 2921, Ebbonny 10703, mom & dad got a few spots from the ringworm as well. Mom also had a sign on the front door letting others know we were under quarantine. Mom was sure happy that episode was over!
So, now my xciting news is that with all your wonderful visits & votes to me on Wednesday, 10/10 I received my 3rd CROTD today, 10/11! Thank you all so much for the gifts, goodies, balloons & your sweet friendships!
Mom has also updated my profile photo plus added FIVE updated pictures to my gallery. Check 'em out!
