A little bird told me ...
... things are warming up in other areas of the country. Hope my dear friends in colder climes are thawing out in warm sunshine. If you need further assistance, my window ledge is available to all. It's a magic window ledge and will hold every one of us who want to snuggle in the sunshine and enjoy the flighted creatures just outside the pane. Mommy is home and very proud of me ...
... for the way I handled her absence. Our dear neighbor came over each day to give me food, treats, fresh water and a clean litter box. I did not hide from him although I did hiss just a teeeeeeny bit to make sure he kept his proper distance. Then came the grandsons - whew. Mommy kept me in the master bedroom and I didn't have to deal with all the activity. Today the last of mom and dad's family headed home. I'm so relieved. What a delightful ...
... past few days. Several of my dear CC friends opted to fly here in my little pink plane. They then spent hours with me watching the show. The birds in our yard cooperated fully with displays of flying skills, incredible color and song, and a few battles to make things interesting. We cats sat quietly and appreciatively upon my window ledge, coveting the show and the time we had to spend together. If you were not one of this week's visitors, please let me know when to schedule the pink plane to bring you here. Everyone is welcome and Mom has some treats all ready for us to share. It's another one of those days ...
... in San Diego County. The skies are blue, not a cloud in sight, the sun is warm - about 74 degrees in a light breeze. Hard to take, but some cat has to do it. Nine years ago today ...
... my mommy came to the shelter where I had been for two days – it seemed so very much longer. I was very frightened and did not understand why my family no longer wanted me. Mommy opened my cage, took out everything because I was hiding beneath things, and then she reached in. She didn’t know if I’d scratch or bite her, but she wanted to know if I was “her furr-ever kitty.” Well, I rose up under her hand; it felt so good to both of us. She lifted me out and held me close. Then she told the shelter people she wanted to adopt me. What a wonderful day that was. We are so thankful that God worked it all out for us to be together. He gave me to her, and her to me. For the last time, there is not a secret exit from the bathroom. If by some miracle I beat you there and manage to get the door shut, it is not necessary to claw, whine, meow, try to turn the knob or get your paw under the edge and try to pull the door open. I cannot buy anything bigger than a king sized bed. I am very sorry about this. Do not think I will continue sleeping on the couch to ensure your comfort. Dogs and cats can actually curl up in a ball when they sleep. It is not necessary to sleep perpendicular to each other stretched out to the fullest extent possible. I also know that sticking tails straight out and having tongues hanging out the other end to maximize space is nothing but sarcasm. p.s. Mom is doing fine after surgery. Thanks for the concern. ... Debbie and Angel. June and Cherish here. I see you have several new buddies already. I liked your little story. As for us: Cherish's Mom here to tell you about my little gal and how she is doing after having two teeth pulled. When it is time to give her the medications (they are liquids given in a syringe with no needle) she gets up next to me and lets me wrap her into a towel. Then I put the medication into her mouth. After that we cuddle for a while. She must realize the medications are helping her. She also wants all of you to know how much she appreciates all the support and encouragement you've been giving her. You are precious friends to my girl and we both love you all.Come visit me, Q. Some nerve
I was just trying to get my master's attention attention last night when I was rudely kicked out of the room! Oh sure leave the door open to go sleep with mom and the dog. I was trying to get you to feed me more food. You say I have plenty. But it's almost empty when theres half a dish left! I need to be topped off! But I forgave Debbie and that will not happen again.
