i am so sad and sorry to hear of your loss. don't be too hard on yourself, it will just make it worse. i had a situation where i lost (ran off) my cat and i blamed myself for months. i guess we just love them so much we can't help it. I FEEL SO BAD FOR YOU THAT HAD TO HAVE BEEN HORRIBLE!! MY KITTY YOSHI PASSED AWAY THIS PAST FALL. HE GOT SICK AND DECLINED RAPIDLY AND I MADE THE HARD DECISION TO PUT HIM DOWN BECAUSE HE WAS SO SICK. Max is gone
I had the most saddest event happen when I got home from work today. I had my grandson with me and when I come in the house from the garage all four of my cats are waiting for me and they like to go into my bedroom right away (they aren't allowed in there when I am not home)
Since I had Isaih with me it didn't dawn on me that Max was missing, I opened the door and Jack ran in as always. I peeked in and there was Max. He was dead! He must have gotten locked in my bedroom by the guest who was still here when I left for work in the morning. He had dumped over a Xmas tin of carmel corn and was laying half in half out of the can.
It breaks my heart so much! How can I have let this happen! He was the most beautiful cat and he was going to be sooo big! I feel so responsible.Come visit me, Woods, Max, Delilah & Jack.
