Me and mommy….oops, I’m still learning my grammar…I mean, Mommy and I are just soooo excited about being voted COTD.
We did not know that we were in the running for this honor; because we have been too busy getting acquainted and I’ve been too busy training both my mommy and my daddy since I arrived on Friday. Gosh, I didn’t know how much work I would have to do to get them trained. They are definitely a work in progress and I think I’ve got a lot of work for such a little kitty. However, they are so enthusiastic about taking care of me, so I’ll give it my best shot. (That’s what good kitties do, huh?)
Where was I? Oh yeah, I was explaining about my mommy being so naïve about the voting stuff on here. She has always tried to vote for the kitties that leave messages for me and support the ones who ask for votes. And….my mommy loves to look at the kitty pictures and write notes to the ones she thinks are so special. We thought (from what little she read about the voting stuff) that kitties had to be on the Cat Channel for 2 months before they were eligible for such honors. See? I told you she was completely clueless!
However, she is sooooo happy and sooooo excited about my new badge and she wants to thank everyone who helped me get this beautiful badge.
We are going to try to visit everyone who supported me and thank each of you personally. If we miss someone, it is completely unintentional….it’s just because we can’t find the names!
Thanks again, friends. I’ve got to talk to my new mommy about those stupid little cat collars she likes so much. I’m just not a cat collar girl, and she just has to understand that. :)
P.S. The pretty kitty at the bottom of my page is my mommy and daddy's first kitty, Lucy. She was a ragdoll rescue that they had before me. Lucy had cancer and she passed over to the rainbow bridge on August 23, 2009. She was almost 9 years old and was the first and only kitty before I came. 38 Thank You Calicat & Momma
Thank You All for voting for my Charr girl for her second COTD and on her Anniversary date 9/19 of her going to sleep forever. She is missed everyday as she was a big part of the Knights' household for 8 years one month and five days.
Mom and dad rescued Charr, Ebbonny and Bahneetah when they were a mere six weeks old at the most in the backyard in a pile of baled straw that dad used for his bow & arrow practice. The picture with Charr laying on top of the kitty condo when she was still a kitten is where all three of them would curl up together and sleep. Yes, all three at once slept on top of it. When it was just the three of them, we used to travel and they went every where with us including camping.
Thank you for your comments, gifts, yummies and compliments as they are all appreciated. Thank You once again for showing your love; support and the Congratulations for my Charr girl. I appreciate your friendships for All My Children and myself.

Good Morning MHL Team Captains! My name is Sweetie "Iceman" Pie, and I am the Team Captain for the White Caps Team. I have recently been appointed as Assistant Vice President of the League. I will assist President Kiwi and Vice President Tucker and in their duties. One of the main goals of our league this season is to boost attendance. We believe that if each Team Captain would blog his team the day before their game, the players and their family & friends would be more likely to attend. First of all, do all Captains have a copy of their team's game schedule? If you don't, please let me know. We are in the process of setting up a MHL Game Schedule page #83562 that will have all the game schedules on it permanently. Please don't blog or vote for this page. It is informational only. Also, are all players aware that they can obtain raffle tickets at games? Be sure to write down your raffle ticket numbers and keep them in a safe place. Please, Captain, it is very important that we assess your feelings, so we need your answers. If you have decided that you couldn't care less about mouse hockey, then we should know that as well. If you need help with your job, you're not alone, but we will gladly give you a hand. We must get our teams functioning properly to avoid discouraging the interested cats that we now have. If you are unable to reply due to sickness or computer problems, please find some way to convey the problem. PLEASE VOTE ON TUESDAY FOR SPUNKIE #11712
Spunkie was a beautiful Tuxedo kitten who was taken to PetsMart for Adoption Day. All day, Moms, Dads, and children walked by and some picked out a kitty but Spunkie was not chosen. At the end of the day, he was returned to his foster home. The next Adoption Day, Spunkie was back at Petsmart, where all the people just walked right on by him. He tried reaching for them, talking to them, and standing up on his cage. But no one chose Spunkie and he was carried back to the foster home. This day was repeated several times, and Spunkie kept getting passsed over. Just when he was beginning to think no one would ever pick him to be their very own, one of the PetsMart volunteers picked him up and held him close. She told him he had stolen her heart! She took Spunkie #11712 home with her and now he has a loving furrever loving home with his fur friends Hopsing and Munchie! Is it a bird? A clock radio? No, it's Quincy, the big furry alarm clock kissing his Mom & Dad on the lips while making little chirping noises! It's 4 a.m. and Quincy is telling them "get up, get up, it's time to get up"! Quincy was living in a breeder's home and he had bonded with his brother Chip. Quincy's Mom went to look at Chip but when she was told the boys were always together, she couldn't bear to separate them. She brought them both to their furrever loving home. Calling all MHL Captains…Commissioner Sam has called a meeting of the team Captains to be held this Saturday March 29th at 11:00 am PST-2:00 pm EST. We will be discussing the rules, standings, playoffs, etc. The meeting will be on the MHL page number 43885. Sylvester was one of the many kittens born each year who are first adopted, and then discarded. His first owner moved away and abandoned him. Sylvester roamed the neighborhood, desperate for a meal and a new home. He had to dodge bad weather, mean dogs, and traffic. All while searching for his next meal. Eventually he caught the eye of a kind person who felt sorry for Sylvester, but could not keep him. He took him from door to door through the neighborhood until he stopped at his furrever, loving family's home. They knew when they met Sylvester that he was full of love to give the right family. Go to the MHL Page #43885... Please look at the two different styles of game reporting and let me know which one you like best for the games. The shorter blog is easier to read and contains goals, assists, penalties and goalie wins/loses. The longer blog has all of the above plus additional stats and a brief scoring summary. Let me know which method is preferred. Every team plays 23 games so there is alot of work involved in blogging the games. I will be posting 6 games daily Monday-Thursday and doing the Angel Kitty game on Saturdays, so I want to keep games in a realistic format so I can be done in a few hours each game day. Have you ever heard the song "Do You Believe In Magic" by the Loving Spoonful? That could sung by Apple and his brother Herman #61816. Some time ago, their Mom was in her yard and met an old battle scarred Tom who came by looking for a meal. She fed him and he started coming every day. Oh, how she wanted to take him into her home and keep him safe, but there was already a cat living inside who was not having another invader. The Mom looked forward to seeing the Old Warrior every day! But one day, he never returned. Shortly after that, the Mom's resident cat passed over the Rainbow Bridge. The Mom was alone and heartbroken. But a miracle happened! The very next day she saw a feral mama cat come into her yard with her kittens, and all but one looked like the Old Warrior! Herman and Apple were 2 of these kittens. Oh, the Mom was so happy! It was magic, it was almost like having the Old Warrior back! She took the mama cat and all the kittens into her house where they remain to this day. "A heart that is loved will always find its way back to you."
