Dear Sisi, I was so stunned to get the COTD badge this morning as Mom only sent a 2 days early campaign notice for the actual March 10th voting. I intended to have the COTD badge for our March birthday, and Herman planned to run for COTD on May for the double anniversaries in Mom’s life: the 3 yr. death anniversary of her beloved cat’s death and our 3 year anniversary of coming into her life (just one day apart). Now, I have my COTD badge weeks earlier than planned and I wouldn’t have gotten it, if it were not for your quick response, your votes, support, and even friendship. Some of you have even introduced a little bit about yourself and shared your experience. I will definitely drop by again to visit you and get to know you. Since I won’t be needing your COTD votes on March 10th, please vote, instead, for my brother, Herman. Mom will be sending the reminder days before March 10th. Hello Sisi. This is Apple. I’m gathering support from my friends and prospective friends to please vote for me on March 10th for COTD the next day which is my birthday (and also Herman’s b-day). Although March 11 is not exactly our birthdate, the vet assumed that we were born in March. As some of you who have already read the “How We Met” story in my page, we came to our Mom’s life on the day after her beloved cat passed away to cancer. Since the vet assumed that we were born in March, Mom felt that it would be fitting to pick the 11th as our birthday because it was the blackest day of her life when the vet found a tumor on her beloved cat who only lived for 2 months and 5 days. I am writing to you today about our Mouse Hockey League. Many of your friends have enjoyed playing this new sport with us this past season. Our players are young and old, male and female, and breeds of all types. If you are a live cat, you are eligible. We are expanding the league size this year and are looking for many new kitties to make up the new teams. All games are simulated by computer, so your physical presence is NOT mandatory at game time. Many cats check the game results later to see how their team fared and to check out their personal performance. If you would like your CC membership to be more exciting and are looking for greater interaction with other kitties, mouse hockey may be your answer. New teams are forming NOW. If you are interested, please visit Scamper's page (#39429) for more information. Since Scamper currently has his hands full with early returns by new recruits, I am helping him, for the time being, by sending out more solicitations and organizing the responses, allowing his efforts to be more efficient. Please reply to ME with your questions or to sign up. (If you wish to be a goalie for your team, you might mention that, also.) We will try to accommodate any special requests you may have. There are NO fees, and virtual uniforms and equipment are provided. We need you and hope you will seriously consider enriching your CC experience by being a part of this activity. To get to a cat's page, if you notice your number of 59516, go to that headline, click on it until you can delete just the number and type in 22877. That will get Chupko's number. The search for a cat by name or number most of the time doesn't work. We kitties don't know much of your language. Mama knows some from her first husband, since he was from Belgrade. She studied hard to learn it and still remembers some after 20 years. Your English is very good. Thanks so much for writing back. We left you a vote, too.
