Watching and Waiting
My thoughts go back to an earlier time. A day when I was young and beautiful and strong. An innocent time at my dear mother’s side, Where nothing seemed could ever go wrong. Then one day, in winter’s bitter harsh cold, I was set out alone on a lonely dark road. Confused and bewildered and hope almost fading, I came to your door, hoping, watching and waiting. You opened your home and took me in, You made me feel like more than just a friend. We journeyed together through many good years, We grew old together always facing our fears. ‘Til my journey at last would soon be over, And my day was at hand. We said goodbye so tearfully, And I went to a distant, beautiful land. Rainbow Bridge was my destination, For a time of great rest. Patiently watching and waiting, For the dear companion I know best…. ANGEL Duckie-EDITOR of "SCOOP" .... YOU ASK- Why are there gaps between the bright shiney stars in the night sky?? The shiney stars are all the Rainbow Bridge Angels, looking down upon and watching over their families and CC friends- The gaps in between, are the Angels who have no COTD badge for the moonlight to reflect off of! Although they continue to watch and pray for those below, they too would like to shine like the others one night! Its so sad what happend to Skipper! My cat Nemo got hit by a car too but he lived. My other cat Pearl died too shea got a profile on here. Pearl ran away. Anyway heres a vote stop by and vote for me anytimeCome visit me, A memorial for Pearl, Nemo & Gotee and Vadailia.
