Fun days in the Castle
In a few days my reign will come to an end and soon we will have a new Queen. It has been a fun experience and we truly enjoyed our stay in the castle. I have been enjoying the long walks on the beautiful grounds together with my Guardian Angel Bait. My sister Yak is often at the tower, play acting like she's Rapunzel. Bullie is swinging on each chandelier and sliding down the bannister. And Tong, well, we caught him sneeking out of the castle grounds. You see, Tong is the adventurous type but when he is in trouble he runs frantically back home shrieking like a little girl. Teehee!

Have a great weekend everyone.

Time to relax, recharge and enjoy the weekend with the people and furmily you love!

Nose kisses and tail hugs.

Sneaking in some Fancy Feast canned tuna (don't tell anyone). I can easily eat two cans of wet food and a bunch of dry food and still never gain weight. All of the vets are baffled. They say I am the poster child for big cats (meaning that I am big and slim!) Purrs, Edina

A King's Life
Mom saw me lounging on the carpet, belly up. Then I heard her speak in a high picthed voice, sounding too funny, calling me Bebe. Quickly, my motor started running ... puuurrrrrrr. She then laid down on the carpet and started showering me with kisses all over my face and belly and I was blissfully puuuurrrrrring. Now that is a King's simple and contented life. What a great blessing!

Have a great day everyone!

We love you always!

Hi everyone in the GMC 1 & 2!
We have been remiss; this is a very late thank you for coming by when we were honored as COTD on February 26th. That also happened to be our dad's birthday so...double celebration! MOL! Mom said we must have partied too much. Anyway, please accept our apologies and have a great day. Purrs & hugs, your furiends Sunny & Josie

The King's Duties
I have been going around the castle today with my Guardian Angel Bait. Yak, Tong and Bullie are still jet lagged but they should all be joining me later for a walk in the beautiful garden. I already had a quick garden walk and it sure reminded me of the beautiful Gardens of Versailles. I bet the two best friends, Bullie and Tong, will have a great time running around, exploring and hiding in the purrfectly manicured lawns.

Today, I was presentted with my schedule for the day:

7:00 a.m. Playtime
7:45 a.m. Daily bathtime with Mom
8:00 a.m. Thanksgiving prayer in the Chapel
8:15 a.m. Breakfast and Vitamin time

More about Mom
I've had a wonderful time with my catpaign with the help of my Mom. Let me tell you more about her.

1. My middle aged Mom is a child at heart.
2. Mom married the love of her life and is happily married to Dad for the last 14 years.
3. Mom quit her job to be a housewife and mother to us kitties. She has worked hard for over 20 years and has taken the backseat for the last four years.
4. Mom is the third of four siblings, two of which are overseas. Mom takes solely care of Grandma and Grandpa's needs, visiting them every Sunday.
5. Mom has travelled to many beautiful places but considers our developing country home. Home is where the heart is.
6. Our home is asian inspired and Mom loves asian cuisine.
7. Mom is a bit claustrophobic.
8. Mom has swam with dolphins which is in her bucket list.
9. Mom and Dad cannot travel as much because of us kitties. If they do travel, it is only for a week though we are well taken cared for while they are away. Mom and Dad are not comfortable when they are not around us for a long time.
10. Mom developed mild asthma late last year. She has no intentions of finding out what she is allergic to. She says definietely not cats.
11. It is in Mom's nature to be happy and have a positive outlook. She is happy and contented with simple things in life.
12. Mom's best friend and great love is Dad. They do most things together and share the same values and interests. They are soulmates.
13. Mom loves all animals and wish she can save them all but ...
14. Mom is very organized and this has rubbed on Dad. Mom has trained him well. Teehee!
15. Our home is filled with love, joy, laughter and cats.

My straying Mom
Mom loves all animals and grew up having six dogs. One day she says she'll surprise us all and come home with a doggie. Well, I dont think so Mom! If you do, we will report you to feline welfare. In this house felines rule!

In October, Mom met a lovely couple at the Tower of London, and with them were their two sweet and gentle Newfoundland babies, Bertie and Happy. Mom was so amazed at how big Bertie was and is often mistaken for a bear says their Dad. Mom says Bertie is one of the biggest doggie she has ever seen. Happy, the younger female is a bit smaller but was just as gentle and sweet as Bertie. Well guess what, with a blink of an eye, Happy suddenly licked and kissed Mom. And Happy did it repeatedly. Yes, Mom got kissed by a dog and she loved it! What a sweet and gentle doggie! Mom was in heaven and it was such a happy day!

To this day, Mom gets to see both Bertie and Happy as they are now friends with Mom as she got to join their Facebook group.

Mom strays from time to time with other kitties and sometimes with yappy dogs. I know cause sometimes there is a new scent on her. But all is forgiven as long as she comes home to us, to love and to serve!

Home is where my Cats are!

p.s. Mom posted photos of Bertie and Happy in my gallery.

Fun facts about Hami
1. My long name is Hamiliano. Mom calls me Hamiliano to call my attention when I do things I'm not supposed to. I also love to be called Bebe and I respond and look at Mom wide eyed like saying "yes Mom?". Bebe means baby and Mom still considers me her baby boy. Mom also talks funny and lovingly to me with a high pitch squeaky voice. Mom sure is a funny lady.

2. Like most Persians, I have a soft meow. I seldom meow but when I do it means I want something.

3. When I go to my box late at night, I meow softly which means I want my box cleaned. Mom wakes up when she hears my meow but when she doesnt she picks it up soon after she awakes. What a demanding kitty Mom says!

4. I'm one very patient kitty. When it's wet nom time, I patiently wait purring even if it takes about ten minutes to be served. No meows, just purrs and a happy tail.

5. I do not eat table food. But the only table food I have a very small portion of is cheese spread and it has to be a particular brand. I bit on a hotdog once, evidenced by a bite mark. No, I did not eat it as I know it is bad for me.

6. At nine years old, I still have the zoomies and I sure can run fast and play with my ball like a purrfessional soccer player. I love balls and it's the only toy I love to play with. All the toys my pawrents get me are not interesting to me. But I definitely love balls a whole lot. The tiny mousie my girlfriend recently gave me is quite interesting as well and I do love to pounce on it and throw it around from time to time.

7. I sleep with my pawrents at night and I demand the AC turned on if they want me on their bed. I sleep at the foot of their bed and they have to adjust their sleeping position depending on my location.

8. Catnip doesnt work on me. I'm a clean and sober kitty.

9. Dad makes sure I get constant play time at night. This way, I dont wake them up in the middle of the night and disturb their sleep.

10. I don't scratch at the furniture. Yay, we can have nice furniture Mom says!

11. I hide when it's vitamin and groom time. I know and understand when Mom says those words. I hide in my cube but Mom always knows where to find me. I also know and understand the word vet and doctor. But I'm a brave boy and I dont hide as much as when it's vitamin and groom time.

12. When my rescue siblings joined our family one by one, I adjusted so well. No hiss, no fights. But we are supervised when all together as Tong and Bullie are instigators.

13. I'm a very good kitty at the vet. No meows, no scratches. I just sit still and behave even when they draw blood and poke my behind and insert a needle.

14. Mom & Dad makes sure I get some priority as an elder kitty among my siblings. Rough play with my pawrents are toned down now that I am getting older.

15. I'm a Momma's boy and I am proud to admit it. I do love my Mom very much. Life is so much brighter when you are in love.

Happy Monday
This week will be our last week for our catpaign. It has been a wonderful experience actively blogging. In the past years Mom has been silently voting with just a few blogs from time to time. Honestly, Mom does not blog much but this catpaign has made Mom very happy with the positive feedback and appreciation of our blogs from:
being a first time feline pawrent
to meeting our furmily
to the unforgettable experience visiting a cat cafe and
to the heartache of losing a fur baby.
Last Saturday, we remembered our sweet ole Bait's seventh month passing. Mom still has a heavy heart knowing he is no longer with us but because someone we love is in heaven,
there is a little bit of heaven in our home.
Today, Monday, I started the week with a firm nose kiss on Mom's nosey. I know this act makes her happy among many other things. So let's start the week by choosing to be happy and always believe that something wonderful is about to happen.

Stay happy,
be positive
and do great things!
Good morning and
have a happy Monday!

Nose kisses
Do you give noses kisses as much as i do? Rub your cute pink nose to your Mom's nosey?

There is not a week when I don't give nose kisses. And here's a proof. Mom changed my profile pic with us nose kissing.

I often give Mom a kiss after our grooming session. She kisses my forehead and I kiss her back on the nose. Mom is overjoyed and proud when I kiss her as it is a precious expression of my love. Moreso when it is captured in a photo. I have several shots in different occasions nose kissing Mom but Mom says this is our best and memorable shot as this was taken on my 9th birthday, November 3, 2014.

Have you kissed your beloved cats today?

p.s. I rub my nose firmly and Mom could feel my wet nosey. Teehee!

Kitty heaven
Mom's travels has brought her to different cities in Europe, the US, Middle East and Asia. But one of her most memorable trip was in Japan. In April last year, in full bloom of the cherry blossoms, Mom & Dad travelled to Osaka and Mom made sure to include a visit to the very first cat cafe, Neko No Jikan. Mom asked for directions from the hotel concierge and when they got off the train she asked directions from a young lady who kindly led us to the cafe, about fifteen minutes walk from the train station. Mom was amazed as she heard stories of how kind and hospitable Japanese are to tourists and she experienced it first hand with the young lady walking with Mom & Dad to show the way to the cafe.

Mom & Dad were given handling instructions: wash their hands, keep their voices down, no flash photography. Clearly, the cafe put the interest of the cats first and foremost which made Mom happy as the kitties welfare should be top priority.

Mom and Dad sat with the kitties for an hour. Some were showing off climbing and running, some were sleeping and some would just sit on their lap purring. There were pure breeds and rescued kitties all together. One kitty even took a sip at Mom's drink. Teehee! All the kitties were calm, relaxed, happy and good natured which shows how well they were cared for. It was such a calming and peaceful experience that both Mom and Dad plan to go back on their next trip to Osaka.

p.s. Mom shared photos taken with her iPhone and they are in my gallery.

A picture is worth a thousand words
Thank you for the compliments on our photos. You see, Mom is an aspiring pawtographer. Mom started taking photos of me the day I arrived in my furever home. Since then she has chronicled my life in photographs. She started using a point and shoot digital camera and soon after she got a digital SLR as recommended by her friend. Since then, she has hounded me with her camera never missing a good pose and a special occassion. Mom is a pawparazzi! Teehee!

To this day, she has thousands of photos saved and backed up and we share these photos on CC, FB and Instagram. As for me, I enjoy the photo sessions with Mom, I am a purrfessional model! I sit or lay still and even cooperate when she asks me to look up or look to one side. My fur sibs enjoy the sessions too. Mom says we like the clicker sound of the camera as we all pose for her. And the fun part is when we get a reward, a treat for being good and cooperative subjects.

Looking back at the photos, it is heartwarming to see us all grow into beautiful, happy and healthy babies.

Precious moments captured in time that will last forever. Priceless!

Best Friends Furever
To complete our furmily, our baby and youngest rescue is three year old happy girl Bullie-Boo. Bullie showed up at our doorstep in 2012 as a kitten with huge ears, lovely green eyes and beautiful swirl markings. Dad felt that we already had a handful having two special needs kitty with Yak and Bait but Mom fell in love with little Bullie and convinced Dad to take her in. Little Bullie's idol is her big brother Tong. She would follow him around, play fight in the garden with Tong, chase critters and bugs together.

Having Bullie became a blessing to us and her brother Tong. During the long months of Tong's anxiety issues, Bullie was Tong's constant companion and comfort buddy. She would tease Tong for a play fight, chase each other up the stairs and she would even cover his pee and poo whenever Tong would leave them uncovered in the box. Sometimes, Mom feels guilty as most attention are with us four kitties. But Bullie doesnt seem to mind as she is one happy and independent bundle of joy. She's most happy playing chase and play fight with Tong and she can play happily too on her own with her favorite rabbit toy.

But Bullie is also one naughty little girl. She loves to pick on her sister Yak. When she gets the chance, Bullie chases Yak and gives her the thunder paw. Mom and Dad now sees to it that they are supervised when together.

Tong and Bullie are inseprable buddies or best friends furever. Tong being the alpha and Bullie the little soldier. When Tong meows, surely Bullie will come running to his rescue. These two have a special sweet bond and both Mom and Dad are so grateful for taking Bullie in at the right time for a special reason... to be Tongs companion and best friend.

Thank you Bullie for choosing our home and loving Tong just the way he is.

Happy Monday
We continue to introduce our furmily and today the spotlight is on my mischievous and zany brother Tong.

Tong was one of the neighbor's kitten roaming freely who found his way to our home whenever he gets hungry. Tong had a mischievous wide eyed look and does a head tilt which Dad found too cute, innocent and funny. Thus his name, Tong.

Tong is a free spirited kitty. He loved to explore the garden, climb trees and windows. But our home was his solace and safe haven. Though he would roam freely (he was fixed at six months) he would always stay close to home, however did not want to be confined indoors. At an early age, Tong had tantrums like a child. He would push over a flower pot from the ledge, he would climb the screened door whenever he wanted to be let out, he would meow excessively when he did not get his way.

Despite his ways, Tong was adorable and sweet that any mischief he does is almost always acceptable. Most times he would provoke the neighbors cat and most times and he would run screaming to us for help. He has a loud cry for help that we recognize and that means he needs to be rescued.

When we moved to our new home two years ago, Tong had the longest adjustment period as he no longer was permitted to go outdoors. He overgroomed, had bald patches, sprayed pee outside the box and meowed constantly. With anxiety meds and TLC, Tong improved after several months and is now a happy indoor kitty ... who still demands for his food at the exact feeding hour or else ... he will hound you relentlessly.

Mom's love for Tong is truly unconditional.

Happy Monday.

Today is a gift.
Be a blessing.
Be a friend.
Take time to care.

Have a wonderful week.

Love is in the air
Do you know that I have a girlfriend in Facebook? Mom was asked by a nice lady from England if I wanted to be her kitty's boyfriend. Mom had some hesitations but she finally agreed and gave my paw to this sweet and playful kitty from the UK.

My girlfriend's name is Poppet. She is a four year old domestic shorthair kitty from Deal, Kent. Her Mom's name is Ruth and she makes lovely collages of me and Poppet. In October last year, Mom visited her brother and Aunt in London and she included in her itinerary a trip to Deal to meet Ruth and Poppet. Mom got to meet the whole family: Mom Ruth, Dad Michael and sweet furry Poppet. Mom was amazed at how sweet and loving Poppet was even to a stranger. Me, I'm only a sweetie to Mom and Dad. Teehee! Mom had a nice lunch with the family, exchange presents, went on Skype so we could see each other, had photos taken, then took the late afternoon train back to London. It was a quick visit but it was worth the trip as we got to meet new and lovely friends from a thousand miles away.

Happy Valentine's Day!

May love reign in your hearts and in your home today and always!

... until we meet again sweet Ba-it
Writing about Ba-it has been very difficult for Mom. It has been 7 months since he earned his wings but the heartache still lingers. How can a rugged, scarred and senior kitty break our hearts into so many pieces?!?!? Ba-it left us too soon but we shared four happy and precious years together. We could have given him anything and everything, but that day he chose to free his body from pain. Today, he is running free, happy and healthy in heaven.

Our hearts still ache with sadness
And many tears will flow.
What it meant to loose you,
No one will ever know.

We hold you close within our hearts,
And there you will remain
To walk with us throughout our lives,
Until we meet again.

Time will heal Mom and Dad's heart. How long, they don't know.

I think about you always
I think about you still
You have never been forgotten
And you never will
I hold you close within my heart
And there you will remain
To walk with me throughout my life ...

Until we meet again.

I love you always and forever Ba-it!!!

Mom's sweet ginger boy and great love, Bait
Today, we introduce our sweet ginger boy, Bait.

Ba-it in our language means good boy. And yes, he was the sweetest and most loving ginger kitty.

Bait would watch Mom feed the kitties. He did not assert himself but clearly from his built he needed a good feeding. Mom made sure he had a meal but sometimes she would have to look around for him. Like most tom, Bait had facial scars and a slightly torn ear. He sure has been around but he was one very sweet boy who allowed Mom to touch him right from the start.

He would come … and he would go … then one day … it was time to get vetted and neutered. From that day on, Bait was ours to keep forever. Bait quickly transformed into one very handsome ginger boy. His fur grew, his body became fuller and his eyes shone with love and appreciation.

Bait was a happy, calm and contented kitty. He loved his keebles and wet noms. Like Yak, he had chronic gum disease and tested positive for FIV. Bait’s case was more serious as he had more frequent inflammation bouts. He had more and frequent steroid dozes. But despite his condition, he remained the sweetest and most loving boy. He loved to be petted and combed. He would lay down with you on the couch. Rub his head against your chest and greets you with a happy tail always. Like Yak, Bait had daily supplements to boost his immune system. And he took them like a pro.

Yak and Bait had their first dental surgery in 2013. The surgery did wonders for Yak but not for Bait. His gum inflammation recurred quite quickly so we were back with his medication. Seven months after, he had another surgery to completely remove his teeth. This time, he had an infection but soon recovered. Then rashes appeared on his body and he had to be treated once again. Immediately after, one Friday afternoon, he was diagnosed with diabetes.

Mom said ... if we can manage FIV then we can manage diabetes. Bait had blood tests, meds were given and Mom got him his new Hills Prescription Diet W/D. Mom was petting him on a Sunday morning, reassuring him that all will be well ... but Mom noticed a very sad look in his eyes. The next day, three days after being diagnosed with diabetes, at 630 pm, Mom's sweet boy gave up and crossed The Bridge in Moms loving arms...

to be continued ...

Introducing ... our FURmily
We would like to start the week by introducing our furmily. All four of my siblings are rescue babies. Here's their story.

Today, Monday, meet our little darling and Daddy's little girl, Yak.

One day, Mom noticed a bunch of kitties being fed by a neighbor. Among them was a tiny white kitty with black markings who clearly appeared to be the runt. She would try to squeeze her way to the bowl but was unsuccessful. When the others were done, only then could she eat the leftovers, well if there was any left. So Mom brought out some food, left it for her and she finally had a good meal for the night. The next day, Mom saw her again and that's how it all started. Mom was drawn to her among all the kitties. She would greet Mom, rub on her and made a loud yackity yack sound thus her name became Yak. Mom would feed the kitties at night and she would stand guard by Yak so her food would not be eaten by the others. Yak chose Mom. She would run towards Mom, stay by the garden chair, greet Mom, take her to her car every morning and rub on the door.

Slowly, Yak inched her way to our home and our hearts, specially into Dad's heart. She would sleep on Dad's chest, give him massages, greet us at the door and follow Dad around. She loved to lay on the couch and knew how to use the litterbox. One day ... Yak got spayed, vaccinated, hospitalized a few times for chronic skin and eye inflammation. Then got tested for FIV which turned out ... positive.

Yak had chronic gum inflammation. She would get steroid shots and antibiotics to reduce the inflammation. It was manageable for several months. On bad days, she would hide at the sight of food despite her love for eating. In September 2013, with our Vet's advice and recommendation, we had Yak undergo dental extraction. It was found that she had only a few teeth left and most were rotten and bad. After the procedure, Yak had only three canine left. All went well and Yak quickly recovered from the surgery at home. The next day, she was up and about wanting to eat and from that day on in 2013 Yak has remained steroid free, happy, playful and healthy.

continuation ...
Yak is one very playful and happy kitty. She demands playtime from Mom and Dad. She enjoys playing with feathers, fishy toys, laser light and any cat toy presented to her will be pounced on and bitten. A week before Christmas day 2014, Yak and Dad were playing with her fishing pole toy and accidentally hit her head on the table causing one canine to break. The next day, she had to undergo emergency surgery as the open nerve was causing her pain and was unable to eat. During the procedure, Yak had a reaction with the gas and her heart stopped. Dad was a wreck, Mom was in tears ... but with prayers, hope and faith Yak was revived back to life. The vet successfully removed two canine leaving her with only one left. She quickly recovered at home, Dad by her side the whole night, watching over her every move. It'll be over a month since her procedure and Yak is back to her happy and playful self. With one canine left, she happily eats her dry keeble with ease and even manages to sneak on my dry food. Well, Mom catches her all the time so she doesn't get away with it.

Dad doesn't admit it, but we all know that deep in his heart Yak is his fav little girl. Not that we mind but we can clearly see in his sparkling eyes that Yak is his little darling ... his spoiled rotten girl ... the Diva of our home.

On the job training ...
When you are first time kitty parents, you learn on the job. One day, Mom noticed bald patches on me at four months old. It turned out to be fungus which I got at the breeders and I also got ear mites. But that was quickly resolved with medicated baths and ear meds. Soon the patches had fur grown back and the ear mites disappeared. Back then, I was not a handsome kitten but my pawrents drooled at my looks. There were other gorgeous kitties out there fur sure but I just captured their hearts. I guess love is blind. Slowly, with daily grooming and lots of TLC, I turned out to be pretty well and my pawrents couldn't be prouder.

On occasions as a young kitten, I would ride in the car with Dad and Mom. Most thought I was a stuffed toy until I moved. They get really surprised and amazed with a furry ball kitty in a car. You see, it's a dogs world over here. I would tag along, cat in a bag, with my pawrents at the pet friendly mall, we would dine al fresco so I could tag along and even spent a few Valentine's day date with them. Mom says that most girls would go and talk to my Dad to ask about me. Teehee! I've also been with them on day trips out of town several times. But what was most exciting was the surprise on Mom's face every time she finds me in the car when we pick her up at the airport whenever she arrives from her travels. She was always so happy to see me.

So the training goes on. One day, Dad came home early from work and noticed that I coughed out something which looked like something he has never seen. Panicked, he scooped me up and rushed me to the vet with the coughed up sample. Lo and behold, it was my first hairball. Whew! It scared my silly Dad fur sure. But all was well and the training continued.

A month before my first purrday, I had some gastro problems which gave them their first big scare. The emergency vet wanted me to stay in the hospital but Dad said we can take better care of him at home administering his meds and monitoring him. Well, I had to be off my keebles to rest my tummy and instead had boiled chicken which I didn't like. Stubborn ole me, I refused to eat the chicken for two days. So out came the ever reliable Fancy Feast Classic which no cat can ever refuse. Yummy! Soon after I was back to my old self, happy and healthy once again. Those were tough days for them. Mom stayed home for a few days shedding tears and not joining a very important client at work. But she said, family comes first.

So I spent my first purrday in my loving home. Blessed and happy to be in my furever home. I've had nine blessed purrdays and we are oh so grateful for every year that comes by.

Treat each day with a grateful heart.

Love and enjoy life today

... as tomorrow in not promised.

All you need is LOVE ... and CATS
Growing up, Mom had three siblings, two of which now live overseas, one in London and one in Virginia. It felt like a big family with four children but over the years, one by one, each lived and built their own lives away from home.

When I chose my pawrents, I felt and sensed they were a good couple though new to the feline species. Mom had dogs growing up but never had a cat before. Everything was new to them but they both learned real fast. I came home together with all the things a cat owner should have: litter, litter box, scratching post, toys, noms, a new bed, brushes and combs

and most of all they brought home: LOVE.

I arrived in my new home calm and relax as a three month old kitty. On my first night, I meowed at Mom on her side of the bed and she got up and picked me up. I chose her, and from that day on we have been bestest buddies.

I was a playful kitten and had a mild & calm temperament. Had a soft meow but was swift to chase the red dot and quick with the ball like a purrfessional soccer player. One of the things I like most to do is look for tiny lizards. Yes we have them around as we are a tropical country. I patiently wait for one to get down, even if it takes furever, and I successfully pounce on it and play with it. Well, not until Mom sees me and she let's the poor lizard go.

Mom and I are best buddies but when it's groom time, my loyalty is challenged. Who wants to get groomed everyday, brushed and sponged bathed with teeth cleaning. I even get daily vitamin dozes. Seems like too much Mom!

But Mom says with love comes: Responsibility

... to be healthy and happy.

And so my life goes on as a pampered Mama's boy.

Well only I know that ...

... and so our neighbor's cat

will never ever know.

Thank you
... to all who are supporting me for COTM. Many may not know, we are from Asia, specifically the Philippines. We have been on CC since 2006 and am the 18th member of CC. In early 2006, Mom got a Cat Fancy magazine soon after they had me and she checked out the site listed on the mag and posted photos of me on the page. The site was different then and you can vote as many times as you wanted per day. Then sometime around September that year, the site changed it's format to what it is today. Mom joined the community page and signed me in as the 18th member.

Mom and Dad were not blessed with human children. Four years after they got married, they got me and I became their furry baby. Back then, I was the only kitty. Mom had a day job then and was travelling very often due to her work in the travel retail industry. She was active early on in CC and met many friends but later had to be off CC due to work. She would check in occassionally and some dear freinds would still leave messages and votes despite us being inactive. Now that is what we call "family".

In 2010, Mom would noticed a bunch of kitties being fed by a neighbor and soon after she did the same and she officially adopted and rescued four. Two were FIV+ and two were negative. In 2011, it was time for her to leave the corporate world for good and since then has been a crazy cat Mommy to all of us.

In mid 2013, we all moved to our new and forever home. Mom & Dad had a cattery built for us and the adjustement was quite smooth for all except for one who has had on and off anxiety issues.

Today we are all one big happy and blessed kitty family.

Thank you CC family for the love and support. This means so much to our Mommy. We love you all!!!

A healthy kitten will have a steady weight gain daily. They usually opens their eyes 7-10 days after birth and soon after their ears open and their first teeth begin to appear.

About 3 weeks of age, kittens begin to walk and explore the environment. By about 5 weeks of age, kittens have most of their temporary teeth and begin to eat solid foods. By 6 weeks old, kittens have fully developed their brain and nervous system.

Kittens develop important physical skills by playing with one another and they learn to get along this way. By watching and imitating their mother, kittens improve many instinctive skills, especially hunting. Most cats reach their adult body size by about 1 year old.

Cats communicate to each other by means of odor. Cats have scent glands that are on their forehead, around their mouth, and near the base of their tail. The cat will rub these glands against people and objects. This marks them with their scent. Only cats and a few other animals can smell the odor.
