Hoppy Easter!!
Mom is home and Spring is trying hard to arrive. Yippee!! We missed mom soooooooooooooo much. These days went by sooooo slow and we are thankful for her return -- head rubs, belly rubs, treats and cuddles of course! We all 3 slept better last night. I appear to be in a bit of pain with my leg. Mom is going to give me medicine and maybe take me back to the vet on Monday - she's afraid that darn cast might have slipped a bit. We hope to cuddle up with her tonight, watch a movie and wait for the Easter Bunny. She mentioned he left something with her for us in Florida - yeah!! Can't wait until tomorrow. We hope yours is special too. We colored eggs with Aunt Tia so we're sending a basket full of those, catnip covered bunnies and of course tuna flavored treats and cupcakes in all shapes and sizes and Easter blessings. Sterling

Apple's here would like to brag to our friends our Tuesday's COTD/birthday party, if you don't mind. Mom served our family of 5 and our 4 felines and 1 canine guests a marinated and oven-cooked large chicken and salmon & crab cakes. Well, the salmon and crab cakes were actually for Mom and GrandMa but no way we were going to let them eat those cakes by themselves alone. It is Mom's tradition to cook for us every birthdays and sometimes holidays (usually Thanksgiving). We also got our gifts: a cardboard cat playhouse with 4 levels and a 21"x 11" natural organic kitty grass lawn kit. Herman loves the playhouse but pretended that he dislikes it. When he thought that Mom is fast asleep in the middle of the night, he would bring his furry mice toys and play inside the playhouse. I don't like the playhouse at all. Mom put me there inside. I got so scared, I jumped out of the open window of the playhouse. Mom thinks I have fear of closed space. MOL. I prefer my 2 years old apple scented tree house and special cuddle and kisses from Mom. Hope you have a wonderful day and tomorrow. I hope everyone understands that we will to keep praying for those who are already on the "sick list." Momsie doesn't want to leave anyone out and would list all each day, but it would take up your whole page! On a sad note, Evil's #4624 Mum (Aussie kitties) had her sister pass away yesterday. Smokie's #33353 Dad pulled through quadruple by-pass surgery and is recovering in the hospital. Princess Oreo's #27819 mother broke her ankle and is in extreme pain. Sammy #28430 (Libby's bro)is very ill. Taffie #27315 has an inflammed ear polyp and infection and her mama had back surgery yesterday, and Nittany #25090 has an eye infection. This is tough...
Thanks for stopping by...I must have knocked myself silly because I can't remember what I did to break my leg so I can't tell mom. She was sooooo worried when she found me Friday night. I am not enjoying the dog crate or not playing with Harley. Mom cuddles me every night, but this is very tough. I want to sleep with her again- we are cuddle buddies...purrs and a vote pal. It’s a beautiful Friday morning. Sunny skies. Birds are chirping, and we chirped back from our window to invite them over to sing for our birthday party next week in our house. Do you think they got the message or should we have our Mom post this ad on our window that reads "Hiring Singing Birds For Birthday Party Next Week. Apply Within"? Please visit Benny (50347). Benny has had a rough life and had a tough surgery this week. Our friends, Sterling and Harley, said that Benny might not come home today or tomorrow. Baskets!!! Yes!!!!
I love baskets and boxes!!! No matter how big or small or whatever is in the basket you will find me too!! Mom brought home a little basket and set it on the table and turned around to find me in it. "Mine!!!" I have taken over all her baskets. I think she finally gave up. She has a pillow with my name on it in one and a small blankey in another and I still take over the others!!!
