The temperature was high 60 & low was 53 this morning, now it's 60 with humidity 69% & wind is 9 MPH WSW. Friday's suppose to be Showers & High 66.

♥ WOW!!!! What a MONTH of Adoptiversaries for our family, but luckily, That's All Folks!!!! Tehehehe!!!!

♥ I have been making sure I get lots of mom time everyday. I just love my mom so much!!!! I have been also sleeping by her feet the last week or so at bedtime which makes her real happy!!!!

♥ Mom went to PetSmart this morning to buy [2] 16 lb bags of Friskies Indoor; [3] 16 lb bags of Friskies Surfin Turfin; [1] 7 lb bag of Purina One Hairball; [1] 7 lb bag of Purina One Vibrant & Maturity & [1] 40 lb box of ExQuisiCat Litter. She got [2] FREE toys, too!!!!

♥ Well, mom is upset as my Feline Acne is coming back. She washes my face every morning after I eat my Fancy Feast can food and washes my food dishes alsmost every night before bed time.

♥ UPDATE: SASSEE 10605 seems to be doing better finally with not seemingly in so much pain like she had been due to her arthritis. Mom said the Dasuquin must be finally taking affect.

♥ UPDATE: SYLVESTER 11567 is no longer limping the last couple days. He will, however, will need to see Dr. Liz in a couple months for bloodwork to see how he is doing since his diagnosis of Early Kidney Failure in February.

♥ Mom and dad are set up for another yard sale starting Friday morning and ends on Saturday evening at 5:00pm so we may not get to visit everyone, but we will try!!!! Mom also changed my profile photo today.

Thank you dear Woody for the compliment of our sis Princess! She was almost a spitting image of our fur mama Baby 13286!
Rhoamin doesn't come out in the back yard plus he's not allowed outside at all anymore cuz he gets super upset with the kitty markings! Mom knows that Sylvester and NeuBee still goes over in the neighbors' front yard.
Yes, it was quite windy here yesterday, too, up to about 20 MPH!

♥ Our SPECIAL Message by SISSEE 11531 tonight!

♥ This year, we would like to do something different with our 10th Year Adoptiversaries by introducing a SPECIAL kitty to you! While mom and dad was cleaning and going thru everything in the back room, mom came across a picture that she couldn’t find for a long time and thought it was gone forever. This picture is of a precious tiny kitten and will remain in mom’s heart♥. This tiny kitten’s name was PRINCESS KNIGHT and she was mine, Suezee’s & Rhoamin’s littermate sister.

♥ When we were just tiny kittens, running wild & free under our fur mama Baby’s 13286 care when PRINCESS found a way to our neighbors’ yard [mid July 2003] who has a Yellow Lab. That Lab was let out in their back yard and he seen PRINCESS. Mom & dad heard the little screams of pain & came running out in the back yard. The neighbor got a hold of their dog and dad went over the fence to get PRINCESS, but it was too late for her as dad handed her to mom. Mom was in such tears. PRINCESS was only 10 weeks young when she was killed. To this day, that dog is still next door to us so mom always worries us outside kitties.

♥ Yes, for our 10th year Adoptiversaries, we are HONORING our sister PRINCESS on this day & we wanted to share it with you also our HONORARY Profile Photo for you to see!

♥ Well, mom told Callie 239447 that she met her match!!!! Saturday morning mom just happened to look over at the end of the couch to see Sassee 10605 sitting on it, which mom thought was awfully strange cuz she never gets on that end table then she seen Callie hunkered down under the top shelf of the end table. Mom told Sassee to leave her alone then mom had to pry Callie out from under that shelf part!!!! That's the first time Callie's been scared. Mom told Callie not to mess with Sassee especially when Sassee's in pain!!!! Sassee is the ALPHA girl inside!!!! No one was hurt!!!!

♥ Mom opened dad's window after she finished her kitty chores so we could go out in the cattery. Funny thing is though, she had it boarded up with plywood as it's suppose to rain today and she didn't want everything getting wet. At least we got the fresh air as well as relaxing out there!!!!

♥ Mom and dad didn't do much xcept relaxed and watched a couple movies on tv then some recorded shows on the DVR.

♥ Mom took the first cuttings of two roses today from her rose bushes. One is of her Angel Face which has a beautiful fragrance and the other is Jacobs Coat.

♥ We will be sharing a SPECIAL message come Monday evening!!!!

♥ After mom finished with helping Sausha 22506 & Teakee 25544 with their Adoptiversary Thank Yous last night, mom changed my profile photo then afterwards she got off the computer then she sat on the couch so I jumped up on her lap for my lovings.

♥ Mom and dad did a BIG SURPRISE to all of us inside kitties today. First thing this morning after mom got her kitty chores done, she went to The Veterinary Hospital to buy a can of "Siphotrop Plus II" spray @ $28.00 then mom made us all go out in the cattery [xcept for Callie, Kittzi & Sylvr Tuff] then she closed dad's bedroom window so we couldn't come inside. How CRUEL is that???? Then after mom got everything put up and away, she put Callie 239447 in a carrier then out in the back room and then she put Kittzi 160203 & Sylvr Tuff into their carrier then in the back room also. Mom made dad go out to the back room as well then mom started the spraying process then she. too went in the back room.

♥ While the spray was drying, mom & dad came in the cattery with stuff in their hands and closed the cattery door when they were in with us. Dad held us one by one on the bench while mom sprayed us down with Frontline Spray and worked it into our fur with her fingers then when she was done she brushed each of us!!!!

♥ Mom also washed all the beddings and such from dad's bed, the couches and kitty beds which was about 7 loads of wash!!!! So, we have all been flea sprayed in between our monthly flea treatments plus the main part of the house has been flea treated as well. This year is really bad for fleas.

Mom forgot to close our window yesterday morning before she went out in the back yard and after she started using that noisy weedeater, I was no longer lying in the window when she looked so she called dad on his cell phone (he was in the house) and asked him to close our window.

For the next several months we may not be on too often as mom and dad will be xtra busy. We will try to get on when we can!

♥ We got to stay out in the cattery til about 10:30 last night then mom made us come back in. This morning after mom did the kitty chores, she opened dad's bedroom window so we could go out in the cattery again for the day.

♥ Mom bought her a new weedeater at Wal*Mart since her other one quit early last year. This morning about 8:00 mom went out in the back yard to use her new weedeater for the first time and got the whole back yard done. Most of the grass was about 4 feet tall so the weedeating took longer. Mom got it done in about 2 hours. She said she will do the mowing tomorrow back there. Sissee 11531 watched mom and mom told her she was surprised she didn't run into hiding like all the other outside kitties!!!!

♥ UPDATE 5/09: SASSEE'S 10605 front legs are swollen pretty good again from her arthritis. Mom thinks maybe cuz she goes out in the cattery which means walking down and back up on the ramp at about a 45 degree climb!!!! She loves being out in the cattery as well. She also gets her daily dose of 2 pills of Dasuquin. She's pretty good at taking them for mom!!!!

♥ SYLVESTER 11567 has been limping the last few days on one of his front legs. Mom has brought him in the back room yesterday to check him out good, but couldn't find anything so he may have jumped wrong and hurt it. Mom's keeping watch on him closely!!!!

♥ Mom was busy this morning with cleaning the house, washing & drying laundry then folding and putting away before their purr*sonal Bible Study this afternoon.

♥ After they left then mom made a couple cheeseburgers. Dad had a Medicare Practioner Nurse coming here at 3:30 this afternoon, but she arrived a half hour early so dad only got to eat half of his sandwich. She just did some first time things with dad since he HAD to sign up.

♥ Mom opens dad's bedroom window so we have been going outside in the cattery everyday. We get to stay out til about 7:00 or 7:30 in the evenings then mom makes us come back in so she can close the window. A couple times when it was hot here, we didn't have to come in til about 10:30 at night!!!!

♥ Mom opened dad's bedroom window this morning so we could go out in the cattery. Then mom went out in the front yard to dig up a rose bush that died and replaced it with the new one that came from the Big Brown truck (UPS) on Monday. This is a SPECIAL Rose Bush sent to mom in Memorial of PAPPOOSE'S 10366 Forever Sleep on 4/24/2012 from our sweet friends Mouse 219407; Tucker 219145 & Momma Lynn. The Rose is called "Always & Forever" and the flowers will be Red!!!! Mom then watered all her flowers.

♥ Mom and dad then loaded the truck with more scrap metal then while dad hauled it off to the scrap yard mom did some weeding in the front yard. Then they loaded up aluminum so dad hauled it off while mom did more weeding and finally they loaded up more scrap wood then dad hauled it off. Mom wasn't in to anymore weeding or work!!!!

♥ It has been so warm it that for the first time, mom left the front room windows opened all night!!!! Today, we stayed out in the cattery all day!!!!

♥ Mom and dad didn't do much of anything. Mom did take the garbage and the yard debris recycle bins to the sidewalk curb for morning pickup.

♥ Mom was sitting outside on the bench swing in the front yard today letting Bahneetah 10641 have her outside time when two boys was walking their doggie and looking for their gray kitty. They asked mom, but mom told them she hasn't seen it!!!!

♥ After mom did her morning kitty chores then she opened dad's bedroom window for us to go out in the cattery then mom left to go to the grocery store for their monthly alotment. She still hasn't gotten ours yet!!!! Wonder if she forgot???? Tehehehe!!!!

♥ After mom got the groceries put away, she and dad left to go buy one yard of compost/mint mix soil for mom's flower bed. Mom took wheel barrel after wheel barrel loads then spreaded it all out even. Then mom did some weeding in the front yard.

♥ Mom got a phone call last night about Callie's pink stroller. They asked mom to hold it so they came here today about noon and bought it from mom. The lady told mom she has three little doggies that will go for rides in it!!!! Mom said she's glad that the stroller went to a good home that will get lots of use!!!!

♥ UPDATE: WHYSKRS' 10378 is doing purr*fect since his surgery!!!! His fur is growing back nicely. His health seems better as well plus he has had no diarrhea since his surgery.

♥ Hello Friends, this time it's just me - Sassee 10605 tonight! I got rid of my irritating littermate brother, Jazpyr! MOL!

♥ On Thursday morning, dad held each of us inside kitties while mom gave us our pawdicures then mom put Frontline Plus for Dogs on us. Afterwards, we got Greenie treats! I was a little hissy, but mom said I did pretty good considering I'm still having pain in my front legs. Mom was trying to be very gentle as not to pull or hold my front legs tight.

♥ Mom did open dad's bedroom window this morning so we could go out in the cattery. Rhoamin was the only one wanting out at the time! Mom then had to leave cuz she had several errands to get done plus while she was at Sears, she had a coupon for an oil change so she got dad's truck done. Dad was surprised when mom got home to let him know!

♥ Yippee! The mailman delivered a package this afternoon from EntirelyPets.com which is my Dasuquin pills for my Degenerative Arthritis Disease. Actually, there were three packages which two was for dad from the VA as dad had to order a new mask for his C-PAP! So, mom had to call Dr. Liz to see how many Dasuquin mom's suppose to give me. I'm suppose to get two capsules a day. Mom waited for me to wake up and I came to her. She gave me both my pills then I ate! Now it's just time to see if they work for me!

♥ Before it was mom's bedtime last night, I insisted her to hold me since she has been neglecting me the last few days!!!! Tehehehe!!!! Then she held me again this morning.

♥ Mom went out in the back yard to scoop the big sand~litter box then dad took five gallon buckets out to mom so her and dad could fill them with the stinky urine smelled sand to haul away. They came back with [10] five gallon buckets of fresh new sand. Dad dumped six buckets of the sand in the box then mom spreaded it out so now the outside kitties has a nice clean smelling sand~litter box to use.

♥ After mom and dad was done with that, they then loaded the truck up with old junk, windows and such to haul off to the dump. They finally got done for the day about 1:30 this afternoon.

♥ Mom is very tired and still dealing with her headache due to her neck & shoulder being out again!!!!

♥ Mom & dad had an errand to do first thing this morning then when they got back home, they pretty much rested & watched recorded shows. Mom's been dealing with a nasty headache all day, too. I took advantage of the situation & got lots of mom time!!!! Tehehehe!!!! Mom says her & dad will be back to working in the back yard tomorrow though with getting sand for the sand-litter box then other clean ups!!!!

"Cat rescued from sign above highway"
ELKHART, Ind. (UPI) Animal rescuers in Indiana said a cat was brought down from atop a sign near a highway overpass two days after it was first spotted.

The Humane Society of Elkhart County said the Elkhart Police Department received a call Thursday about a cat on top of a sign near the St. Joseph Valley Parkway overpass on U.S. 33, but officers were unable to find the feline, the Elkhart Truth reported Wednesday.

The Humane Society received a similar call the following day and the orange cat was discovered sitting atop a light on the sign, about 15 feet from the overpass, said Megan Gonterman, assistant director of the Humane Society.

The cat was rescued with help from the Elkhart Street Department.

"He was a little on the dehydrated side," Gonterman said. He ate right away, so he was pretty hungry, too.

"He was a little scared of stuff at first, but he's a really friendly cat," she said. I think he was just happy to be down.

The cat, which has been dubbed Freeway, was likely thrown from the overpass, Gonterman said. She said it would have been difficult for the feline to reach the perch on its own.

♥ Thank you for Honoring my little PAPPOOSE #10366 with making her win her First Forever Sleep COTD today 4/25/2013!!!

♥ It's true to what you say about how fast the year went, but not to me!!! It seems like Pappoose has been gone way longer than only a year!!! Yes, I have wonderful memories of my little girl.

♥ Pappoose was a very Ladylike girl as when walking in the grass she would walk with such grace that it looked like she tip toed through the grass. She was a petite girl and had several friends and family who also fell in love with her. Yes, my sweet Pappoose captured many hearts♥ not just here at home, but also our CC friends!!! She never got on the counters and rarely on the kitchen table. She was the best well-mannered kitty!!!

♥ When Pappoose first became an inside girl, Rhoamin 2921 took her in being the greatest fur brother to her. He played with her and they got along so well. Heck, Pappoose got along with all the kitties xcept for Sassee 10605 and Callie 239447. Those two bullied her til she was terrified. She wasn't too keen being around our dog Carly, but she put up with her.

♥ MEMORIES, Yes, I have beautiful and fun memories playing with and loving the sweetest little girl a momma could want!!! We also miss our other friends who went to their Forever Sleep in the matter of days like Anna 50686; Callie 89317 & Baby 8574.

♥ Good evening to our dear friends!!!! Yes, I am back and mom did finish Pappoose's 10366 Thank Yous last night for her First Forever Sleep COTD Badge.

♥ Well, mom & dad wrapped up their 2-day yard sale on Saturday. The sale went pretty good and now mom wants to get some sand to replace the old stuff in the outside 5x5 sand~litter box. They won't know how to act with new and fresh sand!!!

♥ This morning, Mom & Dad packed the un-sold items then took them to Sara's Treasures, which is a second hand store and all proceeeds sold there goes towards spaying/neutering/Fostering and such. They also have lots of kitties there up for adoption. Mom said they had part of the store unavailable cuz they have kitties back there under Quarrantine.

♥ We have been going out in the cattery everyday. Sometime Saturday late afternoon though, mom was at the kitchen sink and she was smelling pee so she started looking around and seen it. Mom knew who did it. I was lying on the counter and she told me that I was a bad boy and said that I was lucky that dad didn't know what I did. She never once raised her voice though then she cleaned it up with paper towels and vinegar.

♥ SASSEE 10605 has been in some pain again so mom has been giving her pain medicine. Whyskrs 10378 also got in trouble as he's been acting like a Tom with Sassee. Mom heard her screaming the other day cuz of that boy and he got in trouble then mom comforted Sassee. That boy never learns!!!!

HONORING PAPPOOSE KNIGHT'S FOREVER SLEEP♥
EUGENE, OREGON WEATHER REPORT:
The temperature was high 68 & low was 33 this morning, now it's 66 with humidity 37% & wind is 15 MPH N. Wednesday's suppose to be Sunny & High 76.

♥ My little PAPPOOSE #10366 came to our back yard about October 2006 (a few months) after my Six's 10139 Forever Sleep in July 2006. PAPPOOSE was no more than 6 months old when she first started coming here. She was curious about the back room as I called her to come in. After a few trips of coming inside, I decided she was going to stay and be an inside girl. She became my next favorite baby and she eventually became my shadow.

♥ She was Honored to become COTM QUEEN of HEARTS♥ of February 2012. We both enjoyed doing her Catpaign, too, and met so many new friends as well as old ones!!!

♥ Come April 4, 2012 she became very sick so I got her in to see Dr. Nancy that day. They did bloodwork which she was diagnosed with Feline Leukemia. With the help of so many CC friends, I was able to get the other 7 inside kitties in to be tested on 4/12, but Thankfully they all tested Negative!!! PAPPOOSE was re-tested again on 4/14 and still tested Positive.

♥ The days went by and PAPPOOSE'S health continued to deteriate. When she was no longer able to get around, I had to make that hard decision to have a Mobile Vet come to our home to help PAPPOOSE with her Forever Sleep on April 24, 2012!!! She went so quickly from the time she tested Positive on 4/14 and ended her precious life on 4/24 at a young age of 6 years old!!!

♥ To this day, I still have a hard time with missing my SPECIAL girl and still get teary-eyes!!! Well, I could go on and on, but I know I don't have the writing space here. Thank you all for your loving prayers.

♥ Mom opened dad's bedroom window late this morning so we could spend the day out in the cattery then she opened the window in Kittzi's 160203 and Sylvr Tuff's 160205 room, too.

♥ Then mom and dad went in the back room to get started with going through and sorting things to put in a sale this coming weekend. About a half hour into their work they came back inside only to see that someone went poo on the kitchen floor and got barfy by mom's desk in the front room leaving a trail of vomit around on the front room floor. No one was meowing to mom on who did it!!!! Tehehehe!!!!!

♥ Mom took a few pictures of our neighbors' kitty (Patch boy) who looks like Casper Todd 6451. Anyways, Patch likes to play in our birdbath water being in it with all four paws. Mom also got a picture of him on top of dad's truck as you can see all the pictures in my gallery.

♥ Mom woke up early this morning with a very tired and sore body. Her and dad basically took it easy other than mom taking care of us and also gathering the garbage and yard debris then taking the containers to the curb for morning pick up!!!!

♥ Mom and dad will be back to their busy days again starting Monday. Mom says we will be getting lots of cattery time this week since we are suppose to have Summerlike weather all week!!!!

♥ K. FIDEL 14733; TONANTZIN 14732 & CHE 14734 as their sweet momma SARA CAZARES went to her Forever Sleep yesterday (4/20/2013) morning from complications follwing a stroke she had last year. Sara was a very active momma with her husband, 2 sons, 3 fur kits & 1 doggie as well with the schools and politics. She was still a young woman at age 48. She also used to be very active on CC. Many of us old CC timers were close to Sara and her kitties.
We are so sad to learn of her Forever Sleep and she will be deeply missed!!!!
Please keep this family in your prayers.

Hi Friends, I'm back again ~ Whyskrs Knight!

♥ WE'RE SO HAPPY THE 2ND BOSTON MARATHON BOMBER BROTHER HAS BEEN CAPTURED! ♥

♥ Bahneetah 10641 was feeling frisky this morning so I went to play with her, but mom told me no cuz I like to play too rough! So, I started racing from the kitchen to the front room a couple time! Mom says it's sure good to see me playing and feeling so good.

♥ Boy, was mom and dad busy today! First, after mom did all her kitty chores this morning, she went to the store to get a couple gallons of milk. Her and dad drinks alot of that and won't share it with me! They say it's not good for me cuz I get barfy after I drink just even a little amount!

♥ So anyways, when mom got back and had a bowl of uncooked oatmeal, she went outside to mow the front yard then while she waited for dad to get done taking his morning medications and ate, they both went out in the back yard to work. Dad used the little chainsaw to cut a few old boards. Mom came back in to open dad's bedroom window so we could go out in the cattery to watch them work. Then mom backed dad's truck up in the neighbors' driveway to load the truck up with scrap lumber to take to the scrap yard. Mom also used the chainsaw to cut a long 6X6. They did two big truck loads today. Mom fed us some strands of grass through the meshed wire on our cattery! YUMMY!

♥ In between dad hauling the wood away, mom dug out her solar lights in the back room, put the batteries in them and has them charging in the sun! She puts them away during the Winter months!

Hi Friends, It's me back ~ Whyskrs Knight!

♥ Some of you may have not noticed when you have written to me in the past, but my name is not spelled like you think as there are NO vowels in it! No sireee! There's no "A ~ E ~ I ~ O ~ U" in it at all!

♥ Ok, now with the happenings! Mom loaded me in the carrier early this morning (UNWILLINGLY) to take me to see Dr. Liz so she could remove my stitches. I meowed a little going there, but not too much. Well, I got the stitches removed saying my incision is looking good and she also said my teeth looks good. I was a pretty good boy and just squirmed a little bit!

♥ BAHNEETAH 10641 seems to be done with her sneezing. The bad thing is, late Thursday afternoon mom was feeding the outside kitties and dad was almost in the bathroom when he heard a ka-thud in the kitchen so he checked it out to see Bahneetah had taken a bad fall on the ceramic tile when she was jumping from the kitchen table to the counter. Dad told mom and mom checked her out, but she seemed to be fine. Mom told her she can't be taking too many of those falls with her age and already being a cripple.

♥ SASSEE 10605 is still doing ok without any pain medication. Mom seen today that her legs doesn't look too swollen. Guess it must be the warmer weather we're getting finally!

♥ CALLIE 239447 seems to be feeling a little better and not quite as much sneezing. Since she has been sick, she doesn't eat much, but at least she does drink water!

♥ On Wednesday morning, Mom cleaned the house then she went out in the back yard to scoop out the big 5x5 sand-litter box plus the covered litter box on the patio.

♥ This morning, mom started in the back room (garage converted into a room) with going through boxes of stuff. She started with all of Callie's 239447 belongings that came with her when she came here to live. Mom saved out some of her toys and a few other things and the rest will go in a yard sale, hopefully this weekend.

♥ Mom turned the tv on this morning to watch CBS This Morning only to see more devastation in West, Texas of the Fertalizer plant xplotion that took and injured lives, homes and businesses!!!! We are keeping all involved in our prayers as well as the Marathon bombings!!!!

The temperature was high 60 & low was 34 this morning, now it's 57 with humidity 49% & wind is 3 MPH W. Thursday's suppose to be Rain & High 60.

♥ On Monday evening about 6:30pm, the thunder came and it was loud then the sky opened up with lots of hail! Thunder and most all loud noises scares me and I sit in the kitchen! Mom took a couple pictures of the hail and posted it in my gallery.

♥ I also wanted to let you know that I'm doing great plus that incision and stitches on my back doesn't seem to bother me one bit!

♥ BAHNEETAH 10641 is doing a better as she's not sneezing as much as she was a few days ago and her eyes are no longer watery. Mom has been giving her antiobiotics ~ 1/2 a pill.

♥ SASSEE 10605 is in less pain now from her Degerative Arthritis Desease, but still has swelling on her front legs. Since the pain is not as bad the last few days she has not had to have any pain medicine. Sassee laid on the couch next to mom today during their Bible Study!

♥ CALLIE 239447 now has the sneezes and hopefully she will be the last of it. She has been making dad hold her more than usual! We think most all inside kitties went through it and Bahneetah seemed to have had it the worst!!!!

♥ Rhoamin will be back tomorrow evening!

♥ UPDATE: WHYSKRS 10378 ~
Dr. Liz called this afternoon and said it was a good thing sending the growth in for a biopsy as it came back called "MAST CELL TUMOR". Mom is suppose to keep watch over it in case there is a recurrance of it coming back. Whyskrs goes in this Friday to have the stitches removed.

Here's what Dr. Liz emailed to mom answering a couple questions mom had after their conversation on the phone.

" Lillian -

The pathologist didn't grade this tumor. Grading is typically done in mast cell tumors in dogs because these tumors act much more aggressively (cancerous) in dogs. She did say that there was a higher mitotic index (so slightly higher grade, if you want to put it that way) than what she would have expected given that most feline mast cell tumors are fairly harmless (benign), but this doesn't mean much.

I would just watch the site for recurrence and watch for other masses to come up. There would not be any indication or justification for further treatment at this time, given that the margins were clean (we got the whole mass) even though they were narrow (I didn't remove a large amount of normal skin surrounding the mass). We can always go back in and remove more tissue if it recurs, but in my experience, these typically don't recur. Please keep in mind when you google that these surface tumors are NOT the same as systemic mast cell disease in cats.

Just keep an eye on the surgical site over the next years.

♥ The weather is changing in to the good which means mom will be helping dad in the back yard as well as getting other things done around that house that cannot wait another year. This means less time for us being able to visit everyone, but we will try!!!!

♥ SASSEE 10605 has been doing a bit better the last couple days. Her front legs elbows still has swelling and she does continue to have pain. Mom gives her pain medicine still about once a day. The good news is that since mom washed all our toys the other day, Sassee has played with one of the catnip stuffed toys for a few minutes rubbing all over it.

♥ WHYSKRS 10378 is doing great!!!! He goes back to see Dr. Liz this coming Friday to get his stitches removed.

♥ BAHNEETAH 10641 has been sneezing for a few days. Mom thinks she has a cold which started with Jazpyr 10428 a few weeks ago. She seems to have gotten it the worst. Mom's keeping watch over her.

♥ TC is doing well and continues to take his heart♥ medicine every morning.

♥ Well, after mom went to Wal*Mart on Friday morning to buy my medicine, she checked to see if any of us wanted food before making us go out in the cattery. Mom also gave Sassee 10605 a small dose of her pain med. After we all went out, mom closed dad's bedroom window so we couldn't come back in then she and dad prepared the house before the Flea Bombing. Then after that, mom put Callie 239447 in the back of dad's truck with water and a litter box then she loaded Kittzi 160203 and Sylvr Tuff 160205 into their one carrier then put them in the cab of dad's truck. Mom then had dad leave the house, but he told her that he would help her. Mom told him NO cuz of his health problems and that she could set the bombs off by herself which she had done in the past.

♥ Mom and dad had to wait outside for 4 hours before going back in. They came to the back yard and checked on us many times plus mom also checked on Kittzi & Sylvr as well as Callie. Callie meowed most of the time cuz she was unhappy. I also meowed a lot, but I did settle down.

♥ After the 4 hours, mom entered the house to open all windows xcept dad's bedroom and turned on all three ceiling fans to air out the house. Then 30 minutes later, mom went back in to start wiping everything down with Vinegar & Dawn dishsoap water. Dad came in to help mom. Mom finally let us back inside after being in the cattery for about 7 hours!!!! Mom did 6 loads of wash including all our toys. She finally got to lay down about 11pm.

♥ This morning, mom had to go back to Wal*Mart to buy our monthly alotment of Friskies Indoor dry and Friskies Surfin Turf dry food. Then she mopped all the floors in the house. Afterwards, mom sat on the couch to watch tv so I got on her lap for awhile then moved to lay next to her.

The temperature was high 56 & low was 48 this morning, now it's 54 with humidity 57% & wind is 11 MPH N. Friday's suppose to be Mostly Cloudy/Rain & High 62.

♥ Dad left for an appointment he had at 9:00 this morning so mom decided to mow the back yard which means all the outside kitties went into hiding. Mom also pulled lots of grass by hand in the back since her weedeater quit on her last year. Mom filled two big yard debris containers just from back yard work. Mom also did a little work in the front yard.

♥ When dad got home he went and mowed the neighbors' front yard, but their new mower wouldn't start so dad and the elderly man (Tweedy) took it to Sears. When they got back dad used mom's mower to do their yard.

♥ Mom is very tired and again, she awaits for the Health Mart Pharmacy to call mom so she can pick up SASSEE'S 10605 pain medicine. Seems that it never got called in to the Pharmacy yesterday.

♥ Mom opened dad's bedroom window so we could go out in the cattery and enjoy the smells freshly cut grass and fresh air. Sassee came back in after awhile to eat then she got under the covers on dad's bed which tells mom that she's hurting.

♥ What a wonderful day this is to spend it with my girlfriend, Sissy Lee 6454, on our 6 year Couples Anniversary!!!! We met here on CC back about February 2007 as we were both in contests sponsored by CC. We voted for each other in the catagories. Back then they had lots of catagories such as Longest Tail which I was in, Most Colorful, and so many more!!!! Even though I never won 1st Place in the contest, I did win later!!!! Tehehehe!!!! I got my girl!!!! It's been love ever since!!!!

♥ Mom is waiting for a phone call from a pharmacy to pick up more Buprenorphine (pain med) for Sassee 10605. Mom has enough to get by for tonight at least. Mom also ordered the Dasuquin last night through EntirelyPets.com for Sassee so hopefully it will be here by Saturday. Mom prays that it will eventually kick in and help ease the pain Sassee's having and then mom can stop the pain med (hopefully)!!!!

♥ Whyskrs is doing great!!!! He has been sleeping with mom at night on the couch and has only been waking mom up once during the wee hours.

♥ Mom is talking about Frontline Plus for Dogs on us kitties tomorrow as it's past time for it. She's also waiting for a nice day so we can be out in the cattery all day while she sets off Flea Bombs throughout the house. This is a bad start with fleas this year!!!!

♥ Mom had to leave this morning to go clean Bud's house and got back home about 1:30 this afternoon.

♥ WHYSKRS 10378 had a good night as he slept on the couch curled up to mom's legs. He's eating and using the litterbox regularly. Mom bought some Droncit this afternoon as Dr. Liz told mom that he had tape worms so mom gave those to him in Pill Pockets!!!!

♥ SASSEE 10605 isn't doing too well though. On Monday, she pretty much slept on dad's bed all day and got up long enough to eat and potty. Mom gave her some pain medicine last night and she's at least been up some today and dad even tossed a pink mousie to her and she played with it for a short time.

♥ When mom got home this afternoon, Sassee was up for a little while so mom opened the window in dad's room for us to go out in the cattery. Sassee went out for awhile, too, then it started cooling down so we all came back in xcept Sassee so mom had to call her to come in. Later while Sassee was lying on dad's bed she started meowing some (like a cry) so mom went in and cuddled her after mom gave her a small dose of pain medicine. She's now sleeping peacefully.
We Thank You All for keeping Sassee and Whyskrs in your prayers!!!!

Hi friends, it's me again, WHYSKRS KNIGHT!

♥ Mom wouldn’t feed me in the wee hours this morning when I pawed and meowed at the kitchen door! She wouldn’t even feed the other indoor kitties! Did she think by starving us that we will lose weight? MOL! Come to find out mom stuffed me in a carrier then carried me out to the truck and buckled me in. On our way to The Veterinary Hospital I meowed to mom in my soft voice several times and she told me I was going to be fine!

♥ After waiting awhile to see Dr. Nancy first. I weighed in at 20 pounds which means surprisingly to mom, I had lost 1.2 pounds since 2/25/2013! Dr. Nancy said my ears looked pretty good and no fever. She told mom that she was going to do my Dental work and Dr. Liz was going to do my growth removal surgery. She also told mom I was not getting a bath as it would be too much stress on my body.

♥ I was so happy to see mom when she came to get me! Dr. Liz and Staff said I was a good boy after waking up and did well. My blood work was good as well as my and with no xtractions. They did the biopsy and should hopefully know something next week. Dr. Liz says she doesn't think it's cancerous.

♥ I am anxiously waiting for FOOD! MOL! I haven't eaten since 10:00 Sunday night!

♥ Mom took 3 pictures of me today and you can see them in my gallery plus she changed my profile photo.

♥ Thank you for your prayers for me today! Rhoamin 2921 will return tomorrow evening!

Hi friends, it's me, WHYSKRS KNIGHT!

♥ I will be going to see Dr. Liz on Monday morning at 8:15 for several procedures.

♥ Do you remember we have previously told you about the growth on my back? Well, I will be having it removed Monday which means I will be under anesthesia! While I'm under anesthesia I will have some dental work done plus they will do a partial shave on my back to get the matted fur off and around my private areas then they will give me a bath!

♥ Since I haven't been under anesthesia since I had my big boy surgery when I was still just a kitten, we are asking for your prayers as mom is worried! Please keep me in your prayers for my procedures to be successful!

♥ Mom added a couple pictures in my gallery of the growth on my back. I will be back tomorrow to give an update!

♥ We had some real gusty winds throughout the wee hours with lots of rain that it woke mom up about 3:00 this morning and she couldn't go back to sleep so she finally got up about 3:30 and stayed up!

♥ Sassee 10605 is doing ok today. Mom did get her to play a little with the toy wand from Kaomi's 208341 momma and dad. Later when she went to lay on dad's bed, she meowed some like a cry so mom gave her a little pain medicine.

Hi friends, it's me again, SASSEE KNIGHT!

♥ Dr. Liz called Friday evening and told mom that my bloodwork and urinalysis tests results were FANTASTIC (Dr. Liz's word!)! She also told mom that I can have 0.4ml of the pain medicine (Buprenorphine) up to three times in one day so mom gave me another dose of 0.2ml last night at bedtime. That's all mom gives me as she doesn't think I need 0.4 (yet).

♥ Mom has noticed that I am feeling a little better today as I'm a bit more active of being in the front room rather than dad's dark bedroom. I even laid on the couch next to mom while she watched tv this morning. I hardly ever lay next to her on the couch! She lightly massaged my front legs and tummy rubs.

♥ I won't be back tomorrow evening as WHYSKRS 10378 will have a SPECIAL request for you all! I do Thank you for your wonderful prayers for me and your loving support! You are such sweet friends and we love you!

♥ Mom finally received a little book in the mail this afternoon called "I Could Pee On This" through her Fresh Step Litter Paw Points that she used late January.

Hi friends, it's me, SASSEE KNIGHT and I'm back!

♥ Dr Liz, Mom and Debbie (Vet Assist.) said I was a good girl and I even purred cuz mom was there kissing my head which I love! Dr. Liz pulled on my front legs so they could get the xrays then I fought them trying to pull my legs back as it really hurt me. My xrays showed no bone cancer, but lots of Arthritis. The result is Degenerated Arthritis Desease. Dr. Liz took two xrays and charged for only one plus did a Antech Pre-op Profile with a CBC and Urinalysis. Mom is to continue to give me the pain medicine (Buprenorphine). I will be getting some kind of Arthritis medicine, too, in a treat form.

♥ I did weigh in at 19 pounds which I gained a few ounces since 3/13/2013. I'm not active at all so that's why the weight gain. Dr. Liz said that I'm only a couple pounds over and not five like she said on my last visit. I'm big boned and a big kitty like my half-brother Rhoamin 2921!

♥ Mom is now waiting for a phone call from Dr. Liz for the bloodwork and urinalysis results so I will be back to visit you on Saturday with more news!

♥ Well, mom just had to take a couple new pictures of me while I was waiting to see Dr. Liz and added them in my gallery plus mom changed my profile photo this afternoon!
