How We Met

The story of Wu and me.
I researched Bengal cats for about a year before I decided upon turning 18 and moving out of my parents house, a Bengal would be my perfect companion. The search began for the cat that was meant for me.
I had met many kittens and many breeders before finally meeting Sherri... and the last kitten left, the small one, the runt... the one no one wanted.
She darted up my pant leg with surprising speed. I brought her up to eye level and she made herself comfortable on my shoulder (pics of our first time meeting below). She was perfect. I could just tell. She was WuTang, and we were meant to be. I adopted her, but wasn't able to take her home for another few weeks. I visited at least once a week, and Sherri sent regular emails with updated pictures.
The week before she was ready to go, she became VERY ill and stayed in ICU at the hospital for almost 3 weeks with one of her sisters (who had previously been adopted to another family). While they got better, they grew closer. By the end of their stay in the hospital Wu's sister's new parents decided they didn't want a cat that had been sick. This worked out to our advantage, Wu and I took her sister home and so we had Baby Wu and Aja Tu. My baby girls. :)
