How We Met
Sylvester was abandoned by his owner. He made his way to a neighbor's house when he was about 5 months old. The neighbor was unable to keep him and went door-to-door to find him a home.

Recently a cat loving family had their red female cat, Angel Rhuby cross over the Rainbow Bridge. The cat mom of this family decided she would like to adopt another red female and as luck would have it, there was Rosie at the Petsmart Adoption Center. Rosie #252822 and her new mom bonded instantly and Rosie came to her new home that day. Rosie was at the shelter for over two months and was a bit wild. She didn't like being kept in a cage and would fight with the shelter workers when they tried to put her back in her cage. This was a big reason why Rosie #252822 wasn't adopted sooner; she was scared and the people looking at her were not patient with her until her new mom came along. Now at her new home Rosie #252822 is a cuddle cat with her daddy and loves to play with her brother Yogi. She gets along with the rest of her furry siblings and is a happy cat. Rosie #252822 will not eat dry food but she will eat any kind of wet food. She doesn't like dry treats either! Rosie loves to play with her furry mouse and the laser light. Rosie #252822 is happily spoiled now in her new home and we are very happy she has found a wonderful loving home. Rosie would be so honored to have a COTD badge to display on her page. PLEASE VOTE KAYLIN #251700 for COTD MAY 6th
Please paw by & meet this beautiful Champagne Point Tonkinese kitty. KAYLIN #251700 is not just a beautiful face she is also a CFA Champion & a Mom. She was hand picked for her new parents by her sister Wendy's breeder when she found out how sick Wendy was. But this sweet girl was already a mom so her new parents had to wait to bring her home. All of her kitties found their furever homes & then she had her Big Girl surgery. She was finally able to come to her new home in January. She wasn't sure if she wanted to stay at first, but her new parents gave her lots of love & support so we are happy to report she is settling in quite nicely. KAYLIN #251700 spends her days hanging out on Mom & Dads laps, playing with her toys, & napping in the sun. She also likes to tear through the apartment at top speed and has been known to do it in the middle of the night too. Her most favorite things to eat are the Roast Chicken that she shares with her parents, and her Blue food. This is Gypsy and The Inside Cats and We have a question. Aren't COTD wins supposed to be at least a year apart? The reason we are asking,is when we came to pick up our pics for our catpagin,we noticed we had one in September of 2012,so that would not be a year yet. Mom deleted our old page,then made us a mew one and that is why our badge is not showing. We are quite willing to wait,as we want no conflict to arise. Vote COTD 4/29 COLT, WINCHESTER & KIMBER #251320
This week’s special recognition candidates were found on the side of a road near a wooded area when they were barely old enough to fend for themselves. Their guardian angel was working hard that day & led their new mom to the right spot where she picked up the three mewing furballs & took them home. These precious sibs have stolen the hearts of many CC members by mom’s picture postings on FB & it’s pawsome being able to watch them grow up here in our loving community. Colt and Winchester love to talk to calm Kimber down because she’s very shy, unlike her more outgoing sibs. They love to play with their mouse toys & frequently pick on their bigger sibs throughout the day to see how much they can get away with. You can often find this rambunctious trio of young felines looking out of the window talking to birds, or playing with their light up ball. They’re snugglers too! They’re often found in the lap of mom or grandpa or you can see them snuggling happily together in their kitty bed. The inseparable trio of COLT,WINCHESTER & KIMBER#251320, are also keeping the house hopping with their energy level so let’s help them bounce off the walls a little more by pouncing by to paw them a COTD vote today, Monday April 29th, so they can earn their very first badge of honor tomorrow!

HONORING PAPPOOSE KNIGHT'S FOREVER SLEEP♥

EUGENE, OREGON WEATHER REPORT:
The temperature was high 68 & low was 33 this morning, now it's 66 with humidity 37% & wind is 15 MPH N. Wednesday's suppose to be Sunny & High 76.

♥ My little PAPPOOSE #10366 came to our back yard about October 2006 (a few months) after my Six's 10139 Forever Sleep in July 2006. PAPPOOSE was no more than 6 months old when she first started coming here. She was curious about the back room as I called her to come in. After a few trips of coming inside, I decided she was going to stay and be an inside girl. She became my next favorite baby and she eventually became my shadow.
♥ She was Honored to become COTM QUEEN of HEARTS♥ of February 2012. We both enjoyed doing her Catpaign, too, and met so many new friends as well as old ones!!!
♥ Come April 4, 2012 she became very sick so I got her in to see Dr. Nancy that day. They did bloodwork which she was diagnosed with Feline Leukemia. With the help of so many CC friends, I was able to get the other 7 inside kitties in to be tested on 4/12, but Thankfully they all tested Negative!!! PAPPOOSE was re-tested again on 4/14 and still tested Positive.
♥ The days went by and PAPPOOSE'S health continued to deteriate. When she was no longer able to get around, I had to make that hard decision to have a Mobile Vet come to our home to help PAPPOOSE with her Forever Sleep on April 24, 2012!!! She went so quickly from the time she tested Positive on 4/14 and ended her precious life on 4/24 at a young age of 6 years old!!!
♥ To this day, I still have a hard time with missing my SPECIAL girl and still get teary-eyes!!! Well, I could go on and on, but I know I don't have the writing space here. Thank you all for your loving prayers.

♥ Mom woke up early this morning with a very tired and sore body. Her and dad basically took it easy other than mom taking care of us and also gathering the garbage and yard debris then taking the containers to the curb for morning pick up!!!!
♥ Mom and dad will be back to their busy days again starting Monday. Mom says we will be getting lots of cattery time this week since we are suppose to have Summerlike weather all week!!!!

♥ K. FIDEL 14733; TONANTZIN 14732 & CHE 14734 as their sweet momma SARA CAZARES went to her Forever Sleep yesterday (4/20/2013) morning from complications follwing a stroke she had last year. Sara was a very active momma with her husband, 2 sons, 3 fur kits & 1 doggie as well with the schools and politics. She was still a young woman at age 48. She also used to be very active on CC. Many of us old CC timers were close to Sara and her kitties.
We are so sad to learn of her Forever Sleep and she will be deeply missed!!!!
Please keep this family in your prayers.

Patter (249085) is a beautiful 6 year old tabby, who enjoys her outside time, ( She is quite the hunter) and loves playing with the catnip toys that her mom gets for her. Her boyfriend, Hedley tells us that she has a great sense of humor and is lots of fun.
