The MHL recruiting director, Pepper, has asked me to try to find out whether some of our most cherished players from last season intend to play again in Season Three. (Note: The Angel league merged with our MHL.) If you are interested in playing, please let me know, also indicating how active you expect to be (attending games, blogging). Hi Momo
I'm sorry I couldn't visit yesterday, we were out of town. I have been out of touch for quite some time. My dad has been helping his dad (who had a broken back and is mending well). I have been doing my best to irritate Muffin. We cleaned the house and I helped to go through everything to sort it into CATegories (which in some cases is different than human categories). I showed mom that it is time to get some new green nags to store her veggies and bananas. I chewed up all the old ones. I got some new tiny mice toys and I have strategically placed them throughout the house (I was only supposed to have one, but I found the bag and now I have all twelve).It looks like rain so I think I'll curl up beside mom and Muffin and take a nap.

Hi Momo
Sorry for being sporadic on my blogging, but we have an electrical difficulty in our house right now and dad is busy trying to track down the short or loose connection. We can’t get an electrician in until Monday and dad has some experience in house wiring. So, needless to say he has had to turn the electricity off to check the circuit breaker box and circuit breakers. We do have enough open circuits that we can do the things we need to do. We are not able to use the microwave oven and lights in two rooms right now. Speaking of my dear old dad, here is a blog I started before all the trouble. Ich…Yow…Gosh darned, sneaky, low life, miserable, old fart! There I was lying on the deck watching the birds and basking in my own radiance when my dad (sweet old pain in the foot) came over and started scratching me on my back. It felt especially good on my shoulders. I was lovin’ it and singing the praises of how much I am loved. Then, much to my horror, there it was. A cool wet feeling. Was I bleeding? Is it raining? Did a bird poop on me? Then I saw it…an empty REVOLUTION container. I was REVOLUTIONized! The familiar smell, the disgusting feeling of cold wet pervaded my body. How insulting and betraying!!! Then, the worst of all!!!!! Muffin, just let him put the REVOLUTION on her and took it all in stride. Let me tell you, the next REVOLUTION will be me kicking some butt!!! I’m out of here…Have to do some more sulking! OK…Sulking done…Time to jump on Muffin. See you later.

Hi Momo
I've been out of touch with some of my buddies and am trying to get back to regular blogging. It is fun, but very time consuming. We got a little rain last night, but all the storms were to the north and south of us and they were bad ones. We could see the lightning in the distance. It's cool today, about 65 degrees. When our mom was gone most of the day on Tuesday, I, Pappoose, would meow at dad and he would try to play with me. I would just walk away!!! MOL!!! I would later go and look at him again and meow at him. He would ask me if I wanted up on the couch. I would just walk away!!! MOL!!! He thought sense mom asks me and I do it doesn't mean I'll do it for him!! MOL!!! He offered me kibbles and I did eat a little for him, after all I had to keep my tummy happy so I could keep bugging dad with my meows. MOL!!! Princess Tattoo #37237 just went to sleep forever early Monday morning peacefully with her mommy by her. Hi Momo
Oh well, I’ve forgotten what chapter I was on. So, I will just continue with my adventures. Last night Muffin and dad were watching “Rides” on the living room television and mom and I were watching the Penguins game on the family room TV. Then we both got restless and started to switch back and forth between the humans (have to give equal time, you know – fragile egos). Then I got a whiff of catnip and I WAS OFF!!! I hit my dad smack in the middle of the chest (I didn’t know that he had dozed off) and scared the begeebees out of him. Then I climbed my cat tree and went on to begin my nightly aggravation of Muffin. I jumped on her, made her growl and then it was off to the races. She chased me around and almost had me on a hairpin turn. She, with her superior experience, cut sideways and met me head on. I jumped straight up in the air and cleared her by about two feet. My dad was laughing so hard he started to cough. I turned and chased Muffin back into the family room. Then I returned and entertained dad by flipping a milk bottle ring in the air and tried to catch it before it hit the ground. I demonstrated my death-defying back flip. Then he got up and went into the family room to watch the rest of the Penguins game. BOOM, there was Muffin, on his lap. So, I went to mom and settled in for a 30 second rest. Then I started to run again. Is there a world record for the throw rug toss? Mom brought Muffin’s old bed up from the basement after she ran it through the washing machine. I slept in one bed and Muffin slept in the other (beside each other, and no blood was drawn). She did tell me that if I bugged her, I would be just another dust rag. I slept very quietly. This morning we resumed the race and proved to mom and dad that they did not need an alarm clock! We will get them up plenty early… I’m so excited, today is my dad’s last day of consulting at work. He has trained the new person. Now he will be retired again!!! Full-time playmate, I’m so excited.

Hi Momo
Well, I helped my dad put our cat tree together last night. He is the most patient human I know. He let me help fetch all the small parts. Of course I didn’t always put them exactly where he needed them. I like keeping him moving, it’s good for his heart! Muffin just sniffed and watched (she’s not good with power tools like I am). I have a picture on my page and Muffin has a different one on her’s. It is a really cool tree and wasn’t too expensive either. Muffin and my dad did Internet searches for “cat trees” until they found just the right one at just the right price. There was a really cool lighthouse one, but it was $700.00. My dad says that he loves us, but don’t push it…I have been jumping all over the tree this morning. Muffin takes a little more time working things out before she tries to jump in. I just wish she wouldn’t hog up daddy’s lap all the time. As soon as he sits down, BOOM there she is snuggling him. He calls her his little Muffie Pie. I want a little slice of that heaven. Oh well, she’s been around a lot longer than I have and is used to him. I will wait my turn. He does pay a lot of attention to both of us. I’m not a carry around type of kittie. I jump down right away. He can carry Muffin around all day (although I think I saw her sticking her tongue out at me once). WOMEN!!! OK, now I know I’m in trouble…but, I’m cute (I can get away with a lot because of that).

Hi Momo
I had a great night! My dad is really tired from his meeting last night. He has been on the phone at work all morning, so I am typing this to you. Dad gave me some new catnip in my mousie before he left and I have been tearing up the house!!! Muffin is playing chase with me now and we have fun!!! I had fun at the hockey game last night. I was worn out when I got home. I tried to make Muffin feel better after her team lost. She really takes it personally. She is practicing right now and soon I’ll go in and take some shots on goal to help her. Our new cat tree came today!!! Dad is going to put it together when he gets home. I can’t wait! I’ll put a picture of it on my site. My new automatic feeder came in too. I like it. It is just like Muffin’s. Mine is upstairs and Muffin’s is downstairs. Mom and dad think that will give Muffin time to finish her meal before I do and race down to try to steal some of hers (think again humans). Muffin is really nice. She lets me put my nose in her feeder and sometimes backs away and gives me some. After I practice hockey with Muffin, I’m going to try to tear open that big box that came today. Maybe I can put the cat tree together before my dad gets home and surprise him. Love and a vote.

Hi Momo
Ok! Ready for this? I have a new trick that I want to share with you. My dad cleans our litter boxes every morning and afternoon. I follow him around and pretend that I’m interested in what he is doing. Then, at the moment he hits paydirt with that diggy thingy, I nudge his arm and make him drop the prizes! What fun! He says, “You little …(Read-stuff that he is trying to dig up)!” I meow out loud and run to the next box. Hey, check out my new pictures of my squirrel friends and some of the pages from our new book. If you click on the pictures, you can enlarge them to see them better. Muffin was a little grumpy last evening and hugged my dad’s lap and fought me off every time I tried to jump up there. He did carry us both up to bed at the same time with only a little growling. Then we both split. It was a diversionary move on my part and as soon as Muffin was snug in her bed, I returned and slept with mom and dad. Girls are so easy to fool. Can you tell that dad is writing this? Dad has another meeting this evening and mom will have both of us to attend to. I’ll see what I can cook up for tomorrow. See you soon. Hugs and a vote.

HI Momo
Looks like nappy time for the next three days. It is supposed to rain until Thursday. It is cold, too. Maybe Muffin will allow me to snuggle with her. I don't have much meat on my bones, yet. She is nice and soft and warm. She has learned how to give me the "stink eye" instead of growling. I know when to hold em and when to fold em. This is dad's last week of work. Then he gets to retire again and be with us. Mom gets her housekeeper back (What a guy!). Dad had a book made of me and Muffin that shows the pictures he and mom took. It's really neat. They did it online and the book came in the mail. Hey, does that mean that I'm published? I'm going to talk to him about royalties. I'll put a picture of the book on my pictures so you can see it. I still can't reach that darned "P". I'll have to wait until dad gets home. Well, here's a vote and a hug.

Hi Momo
Today, I got my nails trimmed with a sander thingy. I fought all my might and mom took the brunt of the ordeal. Dad just ran the sander and kept saying its alright, it doesn't hurt. I told him that Muffin could hold him down and I'll run the sander thingy. It didn't work. Now I have to start shapening my nails all over again. Muffin got her nails done, too. She wasn't happy either. At least you can't knit a kitten out of nails. Here's a vote for you.
