How We Met
I met my mom when she and my previous owner told her she was getting me cause she lost her 1st cat to cancer so then my Aunt Angie gave me to my mom on Easter 2 years ago and she was so surprised to have me.She took me in her arms and just loved me.I love my mom so much.

Bailey Darlin & Precious Mom
Mom had thought all day about your momma & what she is going thru. Mom went thru the same thing 14 years ago later this month. In July of 1998, mom's best friend & soul mate died at age 58. They were soooo much alike & loved the same things. Mom had a meltdown & was given 3 mos off work to recover BUT, 3 weeks into that leave, her mom died, 3 weeks later, her favorite uncle died & 3 weeks after that, she was rush to the ER for emergency surgery. She was given an additional 3 months off works for depression, PTSD, panic & anxiety disorders, whatever - you name it, mom had it & was losing it. She was fortunate that since she worked for the State, she has federal & state laws protecting her, as well as the ADA. She couldn't do anything right at work & her mom had always been the buffer between her & her dad, as they were both very much alike & stubborn!! Her mom was her best friend, the only one who had never lied to her & never put her down & never got upset that the only grandchildren she ever had were furry ones with 4 paws & a tail!! Let yourself feel down. Grieve, get angry, cry, scream into the pillow, pound your fists on the bed. Don't try to be brave or keep it in. You can't heal if you don't let the pain out first. It took 8 years before the Drs made mom retire because she never recovered from the death of her mom. BUT, the Lord has delivered her from that paralyzing grief & sorrow that leaves your heart swimming in a fog that no one can pierce. There is hope at the end of the grief, but we just wanted to tell you that you are not alone & mom has been where you are & is here to offer any help she can if you want. We are so sorry to hear your mom lost her mom. It is so hard to say goodbye to those you Love, mom lost her dad two days before Christmas. It does get better with time and we are so glad that she has you and Maraba to help her. Mom says there is nothing better than being surrounded by us when she is sad!! You haven't met us. We are Neelix, Jakar and Hedley. We're sort of new here, but we heard that your mom was going through a very rough time. We thought we could stop by with some healing purrs. Our mom and dad know what it feel like to lose a parent. But, while it may not feel like it now, it does get better. The hurt fades and gives way to tender memories, and the love always remains. My mom misses her mom a lot; she has been gone over five years and it is still tough on holidays and on her birthday and Mothers Day. i dont know if we have been to visit u before or not. but we are sending up prayers for ur dear momma, it is so hard to lose someone u love and we hope she can just remember all the good times before too long.
momma is feeling a good bit better from that nasty sinus infection she had all weekend
is cool here in the low 50's and will be that way rest of week till weekend still a few spots of rain also
well i guess momma will have to enlarge our catdoor now that thundie thinks he is a celeberty so he can get his big head thru it. hhhheeeeee . momma sent his picture in to the quality photo contest, (qualityphotocontest.com) and it was picked out of many entries and will be in their best of 2012 photography anthology book

Morning! Very nice to hear from you. So very sorry to hear your Mom still misses her Mom very much. It is very hard when you lose a loved one. Maybe Mom could volunteer at a shelter to help take her mind off losing her mother. Spending time with kitties & puppies is always very therapeutic.
