You never did say where you moved 6000 miles from! That's a really big move! When I was 2 my Mom and I went to Williamsburg to visit My Mom's aunt! We Had to Move!
Wow! Mommy tells us we've moved over 6000 miles (what's a mile?) and that we crossed an ocean (mmmm....fish) and lots of land to get here.
It took a long time to get used to our new home but now we are doing just fine. Tig took a long time to get over his fright. He stayed under the covers on the bad for a long time. I like the screened in patio where I can be outdoors yet still be safe.
Mommy likes it too.

Thanks for the warm thoughts you left on me site, Jack and Tig! Life may have started out horribly rough for me, but I sure sit in the LAP of LUXURY now! Jack, snuggle close to your mum while your dad is away. One of me mum's brothers travels for 2.5 weeks out of EVERY MONTH, and his wife would be LOST without their kitty, who seems somehow to KNOW he is a guard-kitty when dad is out of town and is ALWAYS patrolling around the house, day and night, to alert his mum of anything amiss! Jack speaks:
Mom is nervous today. Since Daddy's been gone for such a long time (she says it's a job thing) she does this sometimes, getting all nervous and jumpy like there is a dog nearby, waiting to attack.
Our breakfast was late so I scratched and yowled at her bedroom door for a very long time before she came out to feed us.
But she petted me, called me a "good boy" and fed us. I think I'll go nap on the couch now.Come visit me, Jack & Antigone (Tig).
