I think we are going to get more rain, oh no. We leave here on Monday, dad sure can't keep to doing his jobs. Everytime he go's outside, mom finds him just talking away at someone else's site, are some me stopping by. Dad use to be shy, what's happen to my dad. Hee Hee mom is really glad has made friends and is having fun. But he needs to work around here once in a while. I have to check on dad again.

♥ Wow!!!! Was I surprised when mom got an email letting her know the winners were available and that mom and I won 2nd Place in the Hug Your Cat Contest!!!! We are very happy that Winslow 132020 and his sweet momma Shirley had won 1st Place!!!! Mom sent her an email to let her know yesterday and she was happy to hear her fur baby had won!!!!

♥ Mom and I do want to apologize though for the picture mom had chosen to enter as it was the same one she chose for last year's contest. We never knew that til one of our friends told us about half way thru the contest. Thank you to those who voted for me!!!!

♥ Well, I had to try out the new kitty bed, too, and of course, mom had to get a picture of me so now she also changed my profile photo this evening!!!!

♥ We think that with these wild fires that happens every year and burns the homes down then they rebuild just for it to happen all over again, that they should build solid brick homes as they are fire proof and the humans wouldn't loose their belongings and mostly their beloved fur babies!!!!

it was a little cooler 75°F today and sunny....
after lunch mom came home and vacuumed, folded a load of laundry and empty the dishwasher of course we were right there to "help"...
dad still had some hamburger from yesterday so he cooked them out on the grill tonight...
mom did play with us after all we did help her...

We love Garfield and mom did notice that it was his birthday today! How was your weekend? mom was sick on Caturday and then at work on Sunday but we just laid around practicing our cat napping skills. What a life!

I know!! Mr. Sunshine escaped and has been here since yesterday but i think he's afraid that the bad guys followed him because he keeps peeking in & out ;)

this morning dad got ready for work and i saw that he left the bathroom door open!!! with dad that also means the toilet lid is open too!!! Woo Hoooooooooo ran and grabbed one of my new fuzzy mice,picked the green one, don't know why but i do it alot and we all know my favorite color is pink ;) anyway i was running down the hall and halfway in the door to the bathroom when i heard "OH,NO,YOU DON'T, MISSY!!!" so i sprinted to the toilet and dropped the green fuzzy guy in and tried reaching for that flushing handle when mom scooped me up, called me a "little weasel", and shut me out of the bathroom!! she came out a minute later carrying my dunked mouse and threw it in the rubbish!! why do mom's always ruin the most fun days we're are having :(
you should see the new scoop she bought to put in the bathroom just to retrieve my dunking victims,hahaha!

Our mom cut her hand on a razor blade and you should have seen all the blood...YIKES!!! Then her wrist hurts and she has on and off tummy troubles. I think we need to put our moms to bed and take care of them.

We had a funny day today. One minute it is sunny and the next minute it is cloudy and looks like rain, then more sun, more clouds, but we never did get any rain.

Me and Jesse laid on the back porch together and napped for aboout an hour, and Win stayed down in the yard with mom. She cleaned the yard and watered all the flowers, even with all the rain we get, the flowers were dry today.

Our mom just downloaded 2 more games for her Kindle, now she has Tetris and Pac-Man. Mom doesn't even know how to play Tetris, she downloaded that one by mistake, but she said it was fun!

Well, we hope you had a nice "father's day" today. It was pretty quiet here, even after mom fell over the boards in the carport and banged up her leg! It hurt like heck, but she still took the stupid dog for a walk after she gave her a bath. Dumb mom.

Gonna have some storms out here for the next few days - so they say. But their pretty hit and miss with the forecast - more miss than hit. Mom would like some rain. Not as much as they got back east though.

I think I'll mosey out to the kitchen for a minute. I heard somebody say, "Cheese!" Even though we never get any, that won't stop me from begging. MOL!

Our Special Recognition cats today are Serj & Leah #196985 who were both adopted from Lolly Pop
Farm Animal Shelter at the tender age of eight weeks old. Both quickly acclimated to their new
forever home by making fast friends with their new furry siblings with Serj #196985 getting close to
his sister Katie, who sadly is now an angel, and Leah being wherever her brother Gir is. Like all of us
cats, both of these fine felines have their own personalities and likes & dislikes. Serj is pretty
outspoken but Leah #196985 is shy. Serj's morning routine is waiting for his mom every morning in
the bathroom and after her shower, insists on head scratches and kisses and lovey dovey time. Leah
#196985 is a bit feral but she has relaxed enough that she will allow her mom to pet her on occasion
without running away. Leah lets her mom know when their food bowls are empty by standing on the
counter and meowing an alert to have the bowls filled. Leah only likes dry food and especially likes it
when it is poured fresh into her bowl. Serj #196985 will jump over the dog gate to get inside his
mom's bedroom so he can cuddle with her even when he whacks at the ferrets during the night. Leah
prefers the company of Gir and hides very well when she knows it is time for a vet visit. Please

♥ Mom finally got the rest of the composted mint soil out in her flower bed this morning that is out by the public sidewalk. Patch boy enjoyed it, too, as he would run and play in it!!!! Mom told him he was such a silly boy.

♥ When mom came back inside, I meowed at her letting her know I was more than ready for my holding so she sat down on the couch.

♥ Mom called and talked to Dr. Liz this morning about buying more Byoben Gel for Jazpyr's 10428 acne and she told mom they were out, but also recommended this new stuff called "Douxo Spot On Skin Treatment" that's suppose to work better so mom went ahead and bought it. She will try it starting Saturday. It's a bit more than the Byoben, but said if it's better then fine she will try it!!!!

♥ On our Local News last night, they said that there was a tornado that touched down in McMinneville, Oregon which is up North of us. No one seemed to have been injured that we have heard.

♥ After mom was done with her kitty chores which this morning included me being held, mom left to go to PetSmart to finally get our monthly alotment and while on her way there, she dropped off dad's prescription slips at the VA.

♥ Mom bought two 40 pound boxes of ExQuisiCat litter which also has a toy in each box; two bags of Friskies Crispies treats for Kittzi 160203 & Sylvr Tuff 160205; 24 cans of Friskies Pate; plus two FREE toys [one's a catnip owl & one's a catnip flying squirrel]. On mom's way back home, she stopped at Wal*Mart to pick up my Fluoxatine pills; two 16 pound bags of Friskies Surfin Turf and only one 16 pound bag of Friskies Indoor as they were out so she will have to go back another day plus a few other monthly items for her and dad.

♥ It rained today so no cattery time. After mom sat down from putting everything away I got on her lap again for more mom time then I went in dad's room to sleep on his bed.

Dear Q. Sissy,
I must have had a senior moment. I couldn't remember if I answered you back on your blog. But here I go, whether it's "again" or not. MOL! Wow! Ninety-eight degrees is pretty darn hot, especially with what humidity you must have. We hit 109*F today, but with only 7% humidity. You bet, thank goodness for A/C! We don't have central, but window units in each room. Our hallway is the only area that's not temp regulated. I'm sorry you'll be offline for a week or so. But we'll meow sometime next week when you're back. Have a good time with Nana and PawPaw. We're trying to stay cool; you have a pawsome weekend, too. I think I left you a vote already (which is why I think I may have answered this blog), but my wishes for you for a blessed evening.

I didn't like it when mom would leave for the weekend with her cousin. I would hide the enter time mom was gone. Nana never could fine me but I sure came out when mom came back. Mom never did that again. hehe

after lunch mom went to BJ's to pick up a few things then came home and did a load of laundry and did some things on the computer....of course we "helped" her fold...hehe

We topped out at 91°, here in Charlotte, NC!! The repairman is coming out to (hopefully) fix our AC tomorrow!! The AC is working, but if we use it for long it starts leaking!! Daddy has a doctor's appointment on Friday and hopefully they'll have an answer; as to how to control his bloodsugar!!

EUGENE, OREGON WEATHER REPORT:
The temperature was high 65 & low was 43 this morning, now it's 64 with humidity 48% & wind is 6 MPH NNW. Thursday's suppose to be Showers & High 64.

♥ Dad washed & dried the dishes then put them away this morning plus he straightened up the kitchen while mom packed up Kittzi 160203 and Sylvr Tuff 160205 in their carrier then put a towel over the carrier then into the bathroom with the door closed. Mom then started cleaning their room with washing their mirrors and window then mom brought in a blue beast she calls a vacuum. After she was done then she put Kittzi and Sylvr back in their room.

♥ When I seen that blue beast, I turned around and left as I didn't want any part of being around it!!!! Mom assured me that it wasn't going to get me. After mom was done, I meowed at her as I wanted held so she picked me up.

♥ NeuBee 123633 seems to be doing pretty good since having the five teeth xtracted. She's eating her dry food better.

♥ Sassee 10605 has her ups and downs with her Arthritis. When she's feeling good she has been playing which puts smiles on mom and dad. Her front legs stays a bit swollen most times though.
